We were very pleased with our choice of builder. The extension was constructed on time, even though changes were imposed by building regs, plus a number of additions and changes to the initial design were requested by us. The builder was very accommodating and brought lots of experience and suggestions into the project. The team of tradesmen involved were extremely hard working, polite and everything was carried out to a high standard. Needless to say, we are thrilled with the final result, and would certainly use the same builder again in future, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

I found Manaf excellent at communicating and always gets back to you. Ameer the builder is so skilled and works to a very high standard. I will definitely be using this company again.

Outstanding service, compassion and professionalism – highly recommended

We contacted the Association of Master Tradesmen for quotes to completely transform our downstairs toilet and upstairs bathroom to meet the needs of our disabled son, Tristan. Our priority was to create a fully accessible downstairs wet room, with an effective disability-access shower, toilet, and suitably positioned grab rails and fittings at the correct heights for someone who is 6ft 4in tall.

We decided to remodel both rooms entirely, using micro-cement on the walls and floors to provide a durable, practical and easy-to-clean finish for the long term.

Of the three quotes we received, we chose Lee Caulder of TLC Group Developments, and we could not have made a better decision.

From the outset, Lee was immensely supportive, understanding and sensitive to Tristan’s disabilities, brain injuries and individual needs. What particularly impressed us was the consideration Lee and his team showed throughout the project. They were attentive to Tristan’s sensitivities and regularly checked with him that he was comfortable with the work proceeding throughout the day. This level of care, respect and inclusion meant a great deal to us as a family.

All the tradespeople were polite, considerate and highly professional. The work was completed on schedule and within budget. When unforeseen material failures occurred, replacements were ordered promptly, ensuring that the project continued as smoothly as possible.

We would particularly recommend Lee’s approach to managing the entire building transformation. Everything was agreed before work commenced, staged payments were clearly established, and final approval was built into the process. This provided transparency, reassurance and confidence at every stage.

The result is far more than two beautifully remodelled rooms. It is a practical, accessible and thoughtfully designed environment that will make a real difference to Tristan’s independence, dignity, comfort and future welfare.

We hired Bill Timperley for our home renovation project, we were extending our lounge by removing a load bearing wall connecting to the adjacent dining room. We were also removing another load bearing wall to create a kitchen diner. We were also having doorways blocked off and new doorways fitted. Bill and his team worked from approved construction design plans in line with building regulations. Overall we were satisfied with the work although in some places there was a lack of care, particularly with some of the joinery work. We were impressed with how Bill came back to correct any faults and with the standard of extensive plastering work.
For what we paid we were happy with the work done and satisfied overall.

I sourced a number of companies through the Association of Master Tradesmen, to repair and decorate 24 properties in Wheathampstead for the elderly, under a Section 20 Project.
B&G won the contract and were excellent throughout the 12 week project.
The contractors were all polite and helpful with residents. Clean and tidy and the work was of high quality.

Essex Crown construction had professional team and project manager. They finished the project in time and sent invoices as per each phase completion. In general happy with their services . One minor thing was we asked for water proof paint on the kitchen walls which they did apply normal Matt paint

I have looked for different online platforms to find a builder for the external wall and roof repair works in my house. From the website of the Association of Master Tradesmen, I saw that they provided really useful and practical tips for the homeowners to decide how to get on with repair projects and how to choose the right trademan for any building work. After I contacted AMT, they referred three trademens for me to choose which was really hepful. AMT gave me good template for drafting a contract with the trademen and follow-up phone calls to ask me whether the builder I've chosen had been going on well with the job, which made AMT stands out from other online platforms. I highly recommend AMT to everyone who is looking for a tradesmen to get their work done.

Great service. We had a number of tradesman referred for our job, we ultimately chose to use Regent Home Builders referred by Association of Master Tradesman. John and his team were brilliant throughout, would highly recommend them and use them in future. Association of Master tradesman checked in to ensure referrals had made contact, checked on progress of project and that project had finished and we were happy with the results.

Having recently moved to the area not knowing anyone we needed to find a reputable builder for work to our house. AMT were really helpful in finding us someone who was local, trustworthy, competitive and ultimately completed the project to our requirements. The process took many months from start to finish but AMT kept in touch during this time regularly enquiring how everything was going. I have no hesitation in recommending AMT for anyone looking to find that all too elusive trustworthy tradesman.

Avoid, Avoid, Avoid!!!!! We thought that we were going to a professional association, with builders that had been assessed for there work and were a truly legitimate company. Unfortunately not true as the company that we chose,Isorenovate limited ended up as a rogue trader. We had no support from master tradesman, communication was very difficult, phone calls going to answer machines with no return calls and emails that were never responded .A complaint form was sent by recorded delivery, but no
response what so ever. Please Avoid at all cost

A lovely family business. They worked well and hard when they were there. We had a few delays but these were with doors and lantern being made.
They kept a tidy site.
Unfortunately after completion the beautiful wall started to crack. They came out and made good, I feel that the really dry weather was part of the problem.
