Had a great conversation with the person who on-boarded me and my partner to this platform. He really knew his stuff and made everything very simple and easy to understand for us. Not pushy at all and let us choose what options we were comfortable with.

Clear, concise information about the specific work you are interested in and how artists and art is rated/graded. Responsive group always ready to answer questions. Easy, guided onboarding. You can know that when it's time to build your portfolio these are professionals who work in this world everyday so that you can make good decisions for yourself.

Had my onboarding call with Evan. Very professional, informative, no bs, clearly outlined what is possible and what is not.
After the call I made our first investment, easy to do, all steps easy to go through.
You pick from the art on offer and the amount to invest, Masterworks does the rest. I'm told in the near future it's possible for investors to visit Masterworks in NYC, which we'll definitely do when visiting. Great service.

Easy to use platform and friendly, knowledgeable people. A bit odd to have to get passed between 4 different people from start to finish, but once in, it's easy.

Masterworks provided the exact level of support I needed - very little. It's refreshing to be listened to.

Simply forget about investing here if you are not in the USA, they make it near enough impossible to withdraw any money, the app is confusing and they push you to use the app it is missing key features. then support tell you to use the desktop browser login, then when you have another issue you need to use the app instead.

I have been trying just to withdraw money for about 6 weeks now, I recommend you avoid this.

really bad customer experience, they can take your money quickly enough though!

Edit: Despite the reply below I have not had an update from support for 3 days now. and it is interesting that they ignored all other issues apart from the parity (not the case as an end user) between desktop and mobile apps.

EDIT: 3 months later: They still have not processed the payout, they don't respond unless you chase them and it is always a stalling tactic.
