The box arrived with green matcha powder everywhere in the packaging. The jars appeared to be sealed and full so I'm not sure why there was powder everywhere. The matcha itself was incredibly bitter... Toon meer

Matchaeco's twin pack (50g)
With Matchaeco's twin pack of 50g jars... you receive a lot of Matcha.
At a much more affordable price than many of their competitors.
Yet the actual taste, for 'ceremonial grade' somehow seems watered down or even artificial.
There's a lot variance between brands, within various seasons, locations, type of farming and years of harvesting etc.
Although this just lacks any flavour in depth. *When making tea, rather than using it as a cooking indigent. As if the manufacturer had found an ingenious way to dilute the actual tea with something else? As said before... you get a lot of it.
Unfortunately, there's not a sophisticated or a robust taste... to the tea.
Even in large amounts, it is quite insipid.

Antwoord van Matchaeco
Hello Charley, Thank you for your feedback we really appreciate it!
We are sorry that the flavour didn't match your expectations, we hope you can give us another chance in the future! I just wanted to let you know that you're correct lots of things impact matcha flavour including location, how and when it was harvested etc.
Our matcha comes from Kagoshima and has 0 additives and is not in anyway diluted down, it is just pure stone ground matcha! No artificial flavourings or anything at all occurs in the production process 100% Matcha is in every jar!
If there is ever anything we can do to help you please let us know!

Excellent
I decided to switch from coffee to matcha and chose this particular company to order a set. They were having a promotion and plus I got a welcome discount. I ended up getting everything I needed to make tea and the matcha itself with free shipping. It turned out to be great quality, well packaged and delivered quickly. I am very satisfied!

Very happy I tried!
Order delivered very quickly and in perfect condition. I'm totally new to matcha tea so can't offer any objective comparisons but I'm enjoying this very much. The whisk and spoon included with the gift set have proven to be perfect for preparing the tea with too.
