I worked through Charlie Mintrim for 5 months as an excavator operator.

At my first job, my wages were paid late twice. After I called my agent, the problem was solved quickly and the money was in my bank account the next day.

The situation changed when I started working for another company, but I still had the same agent. I asked about one outstanding day's pay from my previous job. My agent told me every Friday that the money would be in my account, but this continued for two more weeks. I had to keep calling and asking for my own wages.

At the same time, my current employer also had delays with my pay. After many phone calls and three emails confirming that I would be paid, I still did not receive my wages on Friday.

Because nothing changed, I informed the project manager and the subcontractor at my workplace and asked them to speak to the agency on my behalf. Shortly afterwards, Charlie called me and told me I was being dismissed because I had discussed the unpaid wages with the project manager and subcontractor.

I eventually received the overdue money, but it was paid two weeks late. The outstanding one day's pay from my previous job was finally paid after five weeks.

This was my personal experience. If you work through this agency, I recommend keeping records of your hours, payslips, emails and all communication, and checking that you are paid correctly and on time.

I had to ring 5 times to speak to a person who then directed me to someone else. I rang the 6th time only to be informed they were going into a meeting but to send my CV as the role I was enquiring about was still available. They said they'd ring me back after their meeting. I'm now another 3 emails and telephone calls later chasing, but I have had nothing back. I have all the qualifications for the role (Undergrad, post grad, PhD and solicitor) together with 17 years experience. My advice would be please don't waste your time in giving any information to this organisation.

dont waste your time with this agency, doubt weather the job ever existed they never reply totally ignorant staff I dealt with Katie Chapman who never returned calls or emails. Surprised this company pays these jumped up non skilled agents. steer clear if you want to maintain your sanity.

They said it’s paid through a portal
No training to use portal given . But expected to guide through it without help . Can’t even get into portal as won’t accept my info been waiting 7 weeks now to get paid very bad experience wouldn’t recommend to anyone very poor situation and poor staff training .

If possible i will rate 0 stars. I applied for a job with them,give them all my tickets and after told me to wait for few weeks they told me cuz i don't qualify for the job. Not serious at all and please stay away from this clowns ;)

Applied for a position advertised at a certain locality but was sent to a different one. Then was expected to travel further. Then the agent talked to me like a child would not listen to any of my greivancies, so far up herself it was unreal. Hung up on her. Will not consider this agency again. Avoid they treat you like dirt.

I've got to say that I've not worked through an agent for several years but Matchtech did an excellent job on "on boarding" as they put it and most importantly the invoicing is super simple. As a bonus they pay weekly which makes a nice change from working direct. Sandie is also super efficient and keeps in regular contract to check everything is Ok which is nice.

Posted a role and then invited me to a recruiter interview. That seemed to go well, I supplied a copy of my passport for verification. After that, I was unable to make contact with the recruiter, despite leaving several voicemails and other follow up. I recognise that not every candidate will be put forward to interview with the client organisation but it isn't unreasonable to expect feedback, at least an email acknowledging interest in the role and time spent.

The team at Matchtech helped me a lot to find a new role elsewhere that I am now happy with. Zoey especially has demonstrated a great communication with me throughout the recruitment process that I have never seen elsewhere in the industry. To my instinct, her effort was outstanding. Thank you Matchtech for overcoming all obstacles and taking care of me.
