Max Travel Reviews

Just one word a Painless experience from start to finish. Well done

Erin's proffesionality and great service.

2026 Highlight: MAURITIUS! We took advantage of a special offer of daytime flights to Port Louis and 9 nights accommodation split between two Beachcomber resorts: Mauricia and Cannonia. This idea came from Maxtravel, who put together a very interesting trip! Mauricia was within walking distance to Grand Baie with a bank and shops, while Cannonia had a wonderful history of having been a French Fortress! We loved the activities each of the resorts offered, which included a glass-bottomed boat trip, snorkeling and paddling. I loved participating in the water-aquarobics classes. Staff treated us really well, and we realized they had great respect for Maxtravel, who did our booking. We were pleased to have the choice of eating in the main dining area or the in-house restaurants, which were particularly good! We took a very interesting tour down south of the island to see the amazing 7 different coloured Sands! It included a visit to a Rum-making facility. We were astounded to discover that every single part of sugar-cane is put to good use, be it electricity, fertilizer, a variety of sugars and Rum! Thank you Erin at Maxtravel!

Once again, Erin Maxwell went the extra mile to put together the optimal travel package for my trip to Japan. His services included far more than just the itinerary and what was expected. He kept me informed regarding logistics and very helpful advice, that made my trip super easy, smooth and stress-free.

Erin made it really easy and did more than was expected even when ackward questions were raised he managed to come up with a solution

Our guide Maria Rosa was knowledgeable, engaging, and very friendly. She made the experience most enjoyable for us while visiting Pompeii. I would have continued to tour with her for many days!

Erin was incredibly helpful in securing my tickets for a last minute trip. Thank you again for everything!

Max Travel has been an absolutely fantastic service to book a holiday to South Africa for a friend’s wedding. Complicating matters, one of us is travelling from the Uk and the other from Australia but nothing seemed too hard or too much of an ask for Max Travel! A number of options were suggested to make an unforgettable itinerary that we cannot wait to enjoy in 2027! Max Travel was readily available and super responsive to queries, and I would highly recommend anyone to use them in the future.

Erin has been assisting me with my trips for about 3 years now, he’s very friendly and fast.

Erin was very professional and timeous in all my dealings with him. He is well travelled and thus can provide travelers with personal experience of overseas destinations travelled. I will have no hesitation in recommending his services in the future.

Kind regards

Always provide good advice based on his years experience in the industry

Highly recommend using Max Travel.

My family and I — a group of six — have been working with Erin Maxwell for the past 10 years, including before he started Max Travel, and we have all been extremely happy with the service he and his team now provide. They have assisted us with multiple trips to Europe, the UK, and Namibia, and every experience has been smooth and well organised.

Erin and his staff are thorough in every aspect of their work, from price comparisons and securing better layover times to arranging airport lounge access. They also keep us updated on visa requirements and necessary paperwork, handle online check-ins (especially helpful for our elderly family members), and assist with seat bookings.

Their friendliness and genuine eagerness to make each travel experience seamless is unmatched. Using their services has consistently saved us both time and money. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Max Travel to anyone looking for reliable, professional, and personal travel assistance.

It will be my first time myself and wife will be traveling to Vietnam to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday and Erin assistance was great and first class. I would call him and he would give me the different options to choose from. I used him in the pass for local travel, that's why I knew I could trust him.

Max Travel provides excellent, trustworthy and speedy service. My husband and I have used their services multiple times and we have not been disappointed. Every holiday experience has been fantastic.

Hi Erin & Team,
Thank you for all the time and effort you’ve put into sourcing accommodation around the Belgian and Hungarian Grand Prix weekends. I really appreciate the options, the quick turnarounds, and the professional way you handled everything—clear comparisons, honest advice, and consistent communication throughout.
Given the scale of these events and the transport congestion on race days, I’m prioritising accommodation that includes guaranteed circuit transfers. A friend in the travel industry has arranged—pending confirmation—accommodation with transfers for all the events I’m attending. While those arrangements are being confirmed, I’ll pause on the other options we discussed.
Thanks again for securing my flights—that part is sorted and much appreciated. I haven’t finalised the accommodation yet; once the main accommodation is resolved, I’ll finalise the remaining bookings and my trip to the Nurburgring, and I’ll keep you posted.
Even though the hotel bookings didn’t land this time, please know that your professionalism, responsiveness, and attention to detail made a strong impression. I value the way you handled the brief, and I’ll absolutely keep you in mind—especially if any packages with built-in transfers come up.
Thanks again for all your help.
Kind regards,
David

I had an outstanding experience with Maxwell Travel. They helped me book a Contiki tour to Phuket, and I couldn’t be more impressed. Erin Maxwell, in particular, went above and beyond. He was incredibly knowledgeable, answered every question, and made the whole process seamless. Every detail has been handled with care, and I really felt like a valued traveler. I haven’t left for the trip yet, but honestly, with the level of organisation and support I’ve seen so far, I can’t wait to get going. Highly recommended!
