Very disappointed with this company. Although their website clearly states that items can be returned within 30 days, the reality is very different. When contacting them, they repeatedly send the same generic email response saying “we can’t accept a return if you don’t think the quality is great”, which directly contradicts their own returns policy, then they proceeded to give be me a whole new policy that doesn’t exist.

The quality of the item itself was very poor and nowhere near what was advertised. It felt cheap, badly made, and not fit for purpose. The constant repetition of the same scripted response instead of actually addressing the issue is frustrating and unhelpful.

Avoid this company and spend your money elsewhere. I honestly wish I had read these reviews before placing my order, as it would have saved me time, stress, and money.

They are clearly claiming to be a company with high standards but the delivery took forever to arrive and came from China. So I most likely could have got the same item on another site that I use form China, for a fraction of the cost.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Maya and Mina Jewelry.

First, the return policies appear to be made up as they go along. Information given before purchase did not match what I was later told, and when I tried to resolve the issue, the rules suddenly changed. There was no clear, consistent policy—just excuses.

Second, the delivery service was awful. My order was delayed with little to no communication, and I had to chase for updates myself. For a jewelry brand, this level of logistics and customer care is unacceptable.

Finally, the customer service was appalling. What seems to be AI-generated support sent repetitive, copy-and-paste responses that didn’t address my actual questions. No accountability, no real help, just the same scripted replies over and over again.

Overall, this brand offers poor transparency, unreliable delivery, and shockingly bad customer support. I would not recommend shopping here unless you’re prepared for frustration and a complete lack of resolution if something goes wrong.

Excellent products and service, I would definately purchase again

Well, I am actually shocked and frustrated with Maya & Mina.

I bought this handbag for my wife thinking it was REAL leather, I then noticed my mistake after a couple of days. I contacted the company on their email addresses to say that the purchase was an error / not needed. I got a nice reply saying I am in good hands and not to worry, but as the item was already processed and that I just needed to wait until I received it then I could return it.. I thought, great - no problem.

The item arrived on the 24th Dec. I contacted them on the 29th to let them know the handbag had arrived and how do we go about returning it and getting a full refund.

To my disgust I was offered a goodwill 20% refund and told I could keep the item as I did not fit their returns policy....! I have looked at the returns policy and cannot find anything to suggest I would not get full refund, minus delivery costs (I noticed they have thrown that in there). Overall, I am hugely disappointed as in my opinion this fits in with a misrepresentation at the point of sale. I would advise anyone to be careful when buying from this company and check the descriptions on the terminology.

How hard is it..... I bought something in good faith, noticed it was not what i thought it was. A simple return and refunds was all that was needed... Overall, after reading the amount of negative reviews, this is how they run their business.

I would NOT recommend in any shape or form Maya & Mina based on the very poor experience I have had dealing with them.

I ordered what was described as a leather handbag for a Christmas present.
1. It didn't arrive until we the 29th of January ,no good for a Christmas present then.
2. It was not leather but some horrible cheap plastic which I paid £45 for probably worth a £1. I've tried emailing this company but of course you can't speak to anyone directly they just have a useless automated email reply. I will be contacting trading standards. Please don't waste your money purchasing misdescribed goods from this company. Total scam.

Ordered my wedding necklace from here and it didn't even last the night before it snapped

I have had 3 orders from Maya and Mina recently .Two arrived safely after travelling through China and Australia according to the rather hap hazard tracking system. The third item arrived damaged - the necklace had not been secured in it's cardboard box and had become knotted and tangled. I sent them photos - including photos of undamaged box and asked for a refund. Their reply stated that the necklace is not damaged, the cardboard box is damaged and the necklace is wearable. They offered to send a new cardboard box.

Ordered a bag in their sale believing it to be proper leather.
Took a long time to arrive apparently from China despite the company being based in Holland. That's where I tought it was coming from.
The bag itself is awful, cheap and shiny plastic smelling of fish and definitely not as shown on the website.
Contacted company about returning bag but would cost too much to retard no full refund as they said the bag was OK not faulty.
Offered a 20% refund which is laughable.
Bag going in the bin and I have learnt my lesson.
Feel very cheated.

Misleading descriptions on their website - main image describes their handbags as "Genuine Leather" and "High Quality Leather", but hidden away on another page it tells you it is "PU Vegan" substitute. The bag on the image online was gorgeous, what arrived was a cheap looking shiny nasty bag, that smells bad. They have refused to let me return this, stating the EU law on a 14 day cooling off period where you " dont have to give a reason for return" does not apply to them due to their own refund policy.
Sadly the bag will get donated to charity now in the hope that someone else finds use for it.

Same as others cheap nasty product arrived not working avoid at all costs thief’s.

Purchased a pregnancy necklace with harmonic chiming for a pregnant friend.

The product that arrived did not chime in/ make noises as one would expect with a harmony pregnancy necklace. The web page described it as providing “harmony” and “calming effects” which are only possible with a xylophone chime mechanism which it did not have.

Their customer service team refused any responsibility and refused to refund even though the ad was clearly misleading .

In the world of online shopping the expectation is simple: refund if the customer isn’t happy, otherwise the risk of online purchase isn’t worth it.
Also, don’t do false or misleading advertising, add a clear statement that the item does not make sound.

Do not order from this company, products shown online are not what arrives. I thought I was ordering a genuine tan leather soft tote bag, instead a cheap orange plastic looking bag appeared.

My partner ordered me a bracelet beginning of October it was delivered 4 weeks later, it arrived broken and felt cheap. He asked for a refund which was ignored instead they offered to send a replacement.

The replacement was “sent” on the 7th of November it has been over a month and they are ignoring emails. Do NOT order from this company.

I brought a bag recently, and I am very happy with my purchase. Very good quality.
I like the colour, and the tassel at the front it's a good size too.

Would definitely buy again

The item received does not resemble the one on the site. Cheap, thin materials, awful rubber smell, colours different - paid £50, not worth £5. Asked for refund - like everyone else, they said they won't. Avoid them.

bought a necklace for my wife at Australia. she likes it and she wants more hahahahha. customer service also is top notch! if i can give 100 star, i would!

Ordered what was described as a ‘high quality genuine PV leather’ bag to receive what can only be described as an orange bin bag. They refused my refund request. They are thieves!!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

Bought a handbag from them for my 75 years old mum. It was described as genuine leather and returns policy on the website stated "easy returns and refunds" .

A cheap looking PU bag eventually arrive over 2 weeks later.
When i asked to return, they replied saying no. It was a prefabricated email which they probably send to everyone asking to return.
They have not replied to my subsequent emails.
They are a bunch of fraudsters, do not buy from them.

Ordered some jewelry on 10 November. Website claims to be based in Amsterdam, but have received delivery info that it's coming from China. Still not received anything a month later. Don't order if you expect it for Christmas.
