We hired MCB Plumbing to replace all the radiators in our property and install a Hive system, and the entire experience was incredibly disappointing.

Not only did the project go way over budget, but the quality of workmanship was completely unacceptable. The plumber left exposed and unsightly pipework. When we raised this, he was completely inflexible, hiding behind the literal wording of his quote rather than ensuring a professional finish. It is going to cost us to now work with a different plumber to correct the pipework.

To make matters worse, one of our new radiators doesn't even work. When we pointed this out, his response was that his quote was strictly "supply and fit," implying he wasn't bothered whether the system actually functioned correctly after installation.

He lacks flexibility and communication.

I would strongly advise against using MCB Plumbing for this type of job.

Marcus has done a couple of big jobs for us now as well as servicing our boiler regularly and he has always been absolutely brilliant. He is a top professional - not only does he do an outstanding job but he explains everythubg clearly, takes the initiative in keeping you up-to-date and cleans up after himself spotlessly. Would recommend him to anyone!

Marcus is great at what he does,turned up each time on time and with a call to say he was on his way. Could not fault his workmanship and the way he went about the job in hand. will deffently use again and can highly recommend him.

Arrived on time set everything up in a very professional manner. Explained what needed to be done and why. Showed me the defective product and cleaned up and cleared everything away as if he had never visited.

Marcus came yesterday and fitted a new pressure valve and expansion vessel and also serviced our boiler. He was very thorough and professional at all times and had even messaged with an ETA. I would not hesitate to recommend his company.

Good communication, tidy and efficient work

Marcus (whilst working in our boiler) caused a leak which flooded the property below ours. Sadly he took no responsibility for the ensuing costs incurred, despite his loss adjuster advising us MCB are the responsible party. We are now obliged to make a court claim.

Marcus was very quick and efficient. He was able to quote for our leak with just photos which was very useful.

Marcus called to let us know he was running late. He talked through all of the options available to us, then whilst carrying out the work explained everything that he was doing.
He asked regularly if I had any questions. A great service friendly and reliable.

All rubbish removed and the house left clean and tidy.

MCB heating installed my new boiler this time last year and he came to give it a first service.I would recommend their services.Marcus always communicates well and find he offers a friendly efficient service.

Marcus fitted a new boiler for us, in a new location of our choosing, and did an excellent job. He was polite and friendly and extremely considerate at all times, taking care to inconvenience us as little as possible. This morning I had my yearly boiler service,the 10th and last one which was required to maintain my cover for the 10 years since it's initial installation.This has always been carried out by Marcus MCB Heating Ltd who carried out the initial installation.
