Mc Greals is not just a department store it is a luxury personalised experience. They have a superb range of furniture and interior styling products. I visited their store to purchase lighting, couches and styling accessories. From the moment I stepped into their store I received a luxurious, personalised and warm service. Aisling, Frances, Maureen and all the staff are extremely knowledgeable about interiors. Their attention to detail was impeccable. The quality of all products is extremely good. They provide a truly customised personal experience to home styling.

I ordered a photo frame in a particular colour and was sent a similar frame in a different colour. I wanted the same frame as the one I have already so colour doesn't work. I wasnt advised what I ordered was out of stock which it now is and I was instead sent something I didn't order or want.

I visited the shop 3 days ago to review sofas. I was advised to sit on a particular sofa by a staff member and when I did so a large painting, obviously not safely secured to the wall and was carelessly placed above the sofa, fell straight down on my head. I’m not one to create a fuss, accidents happen, so I brushed it off but did have a headache for a few hours later. I went in this evening to purchase my chosen sofa and after again referencing the price as the same as that I was advertised on the laminated sheet on the sofa 3 days prior. The price matched, and I was all set to give a deposit. However as I transferred from the couch the shop assistant slyly took the price sheet off the couch, put it behind her back and mentioned price had gone up by approx €300 for the sofa. Prices go up, again, I get it. My issue is when I was looking at the sofa and the price 3 days ago and today the price advertised was the exact same which in essence is false advertising. I offered to pay for the price advertised today but they wouldn’t accept it advising it had gone up. I’m a loyal and reasonable customer having bought an item there as recently as last week and generations of my family shopped there. This greed and poor customer service (considering I had an incident there and made light of it) has left a very bad taste in my mouth and I’ve discouraged 2 other colleagues moving house to shop from there. I’ve since liaised with another family run furnishing business in Portarlington whose customer service goes above and beyond.

Stool just what i expected, video and pictures very helpful when picking it.

When I contacted to check when might receive my order, reply came back that some candles were damaged so would I accept replacement scent. I agreed. And a couple of days later, received another email saying another item on my order no longer available. Still awaiting my order.

I would have no hesitation in purchasing from McGreals Department Store again. They were fantastic to deal with and their customer service was brilliant. I dealt with Mark who went above and beyond to help me. Great to deal with a company who cares about its customers.

My mam and I took a trip to Eden Derry for a family fundraiser. We got talking to one of the lovely girls in the shop, who was very compassionate and interested in hearing what our family have been doing and going through, she showed us so much kindness. Cannot thank you enough, your kindness will be passed on. Plus we got some lovely bits as well!! If we ever have an excuse to come back to Eden Derry we will most definitely be back (hopefully not tho because I imagine my bank account will take a big hit if I’m back there again, it was either fortunate for me or unfortunate for yous I was waiting for my pay day!🤣🤣)
