Hi Everyone. I didn’t know what to expect at first but everyone at MDR are very helpful.
My mind was put at ease as communication was great. I completed the Distance Learning for the Transport Manager CPC.
Everything was straight forward. I went through the online modules and the Tutors got back to me with Feedback.
It was very frustrating with how the answers are supposed to be completed but if you read the feedback from your tutor you will understand how to answer the questions in the right way for the Exam. The marking for the questions is strict but if you read the questions properly and follow your practise questions and answers you will be fine.
My overall experience with MDR has been brilliant. I would definitely recommend MDR to anybody who wants to complete further training.

Although the CPC Transport Manager course and the subsequent exams are notoriously hard, each online lesson was interesting and kept my attention. Lots of group involvement, opportunities to ask questions and discuss answers; none of the course felt rushed even though there is a lot of information to take in in such a short space of time. The case study and multiple choice homework available is brilliant and really helped me get ready for my exam. Melissa is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, understanding of peoples different levels of experience within the transport industry and is a credit to MDR; Thank you all of you for your support over the past 4 weeks, its been a blast!

I strongly believe that this course was one of the best investments I made towards my transport manager career.

Tom Reddy, who is like a transport management encyclopaedia-live version, has designed this course for newly qualified TM-s, returning TM-s and/or individuals, who simply would like to expand their knowledge of this field.

We have discussed numerous topics, including what to report and how often to the TC, or how to read roller brake test outcomes, and how to determine whether the figures are “accurate”

My favourite topic was load securement, and since participating on this course, I look at HGV-s differently from load securement points of view, and I understand how vital it is in order to keep other road users safe too.

Thank you, Tom, for through your enthusiasm, determination, dedication, devotion and ambition showing us what it takes to be great TM! You are a real role model! I hope, that one day I will be just as great, as you are!

Transport Manager CPC:

I had a quiet intense, content oriented training delivered by amazing trainers, like Melissa Bullimore, who didn’t mind explaining things more than once, or recalculating some of the costings questions upon request. She was supportive, motivating, gave us plenty of examples for certain situations, and loads of homework, to make sure, that by the exam day we are fully prepared.

I have also had the chance to be trained by another great professional, Brad Fitton, who enlightened us in terms of what kind of responses the examiner is looking for, and how to word our answers to achieve the highest number of marks possible. Brad was always ready to go out of his way, to make sure everyone has understood the topic.

I would like to mention Richard Dunbavand, who has designed a unique platform to help to prepare us not just for the multiple choice, but for the case study exam too; this has been huge help, as majority of the questions are similar to what we have had to practice from, and thanks to this, I have been literally flying through the multiple choice questions.

After all these preparation and support, I have been confident at the day of the exam, and of course, I have passed both at first try.

Overall, everyone at MDR are highly trained, prepared and experienced professionals, and they are literally keen to see you and help you on any and every possible way to succeed!

I would like to express my gratitude towards everyone, who has been contributing towards my success! I’ll definitely be back for some more!

Took the online course, great tutor really enjoyed the course just put a bit of work in to it and listen to the tutor and you can pass

Location and facilities were great. One of their trainer Greg wasn’t so great. I realised during our first day that he didnt like it when asked any questions. He looked tired and just too cocky. Asked him few questions but sometimes he would ignore it or would try and make you look stupid. Looked like he does that with any non- English people.
So I wouldn’t recommend this place who is looking to do their courses.

Just Completed TM- Unlock course with Tom , he is professional, very knowledgeable, course was 3 days , made a hundred note for my self , this was exactly what i was looking for to make my self more confident, as i just passed TM CPC . A lot useful information being given during the course . Recommend everyone!!!

I did my CPC course with MDR and recently finished the unlocked TM course which was very, very helpful and exactly what I was looking for. As I don't have any experience in transport industry I didn't know from where to start. But after this course TM-Unlocked thanks of my tutor Tom Reddy I have a direction, I feel more confident to start my career. Tom provided us with a lot practical knowledge, gave us a lot of examples from his practice, teaching us not only how to put correct procedures on place in real enviroment, audit an entity or cheking service maintenance provider documents, but how to act if we have inspection. I highly recommend to anyone who wants to start their career as TM.

Fantastic set up at MDR in Leicester. Finishing up our PSV Transport Managers course in February 2024 and Im seriously going into the exam as confident as i could possibly be, thanks to our very amazing tutor Steve. Steve and the other tutors really know their stuff! They bring years and years of experiences, demo equipment and knowledge to each lesson!

I did my Transport management CPC with MDR Training and I have to say they are fantastic. The course material is really good and the tutors are very knowledgeable. The course has a lot of homework but again, the tutors are on line to support pretty much all the time.
Great team and a great company. Well worth the money. 10/10

I did a 2 week classroom Transport Manager course here in November. I will get the results next week so fingers crossed. The building is modern and very comfortable. Every day the staff put on a buffet lunch and all day there were as many hot drinks, water and biscuits as you wanted. The buffet lunch was well varied daily and had plenty of choice. The staff are very knowledgeable, helpful, professional but also very friendly and approachable. We were trained by a currently active transport manager called Tom. Everybody in our class had a different background so different strengths and weaknesses. Every area of the syllabus was explained very clearly and covered until everybody had grasped it completely. I expect a person with little or no experience would pass this course if they studied it in class here. Tom was available to us by phone, whatsapp or email to contact in the evenings to help us with homework or problem areas. There are no excuses for being stuck with something as every effort is made to make you completely happy with the content. Towards the end of the course we did so many practice papers and questions which gave Tom the opportunity to hone in on any problem areas for individual problems. This really was the most perfect learning experience and should I have to resit any part of the qualification I'm confident I could get through it without much effort as the knowledge has stuck well and I'm pretty sure I could pass a test if you put it in front of me today. Before you even go to the centre you will receive your massive course manual in the post which looks like you will never get through it all but you do, and furthermore you end up knowing it so well that you will be able to go straight to any part you are looking for. This is a real long term asset that the team has put together that will always be your go to reference in your Transport Manager career. Overall I'm sure you can guess I couldn't recommend this training centre more highly. It's the quality of the teaching by Tom and the quality of the experience provided by the staff that makes MDR unbeatable for me. 5* pure class that is an unbeatable learning experience in my eyes.

This is my second course with Tom and MDR and it does not disappoint. First-class delivery and knowledge base and always there to answer any questions if you need them even after the course has finished. Highly recommend their courses.

MDR Training run an excellent course. The tutors were extremely knowledgeable and very helpful and They helped you understand everything you needed to know to pass the transport cpc course. Just completed my Transport Manager Unlocked course. It was a brilliant experience that gives you the extra knowledge you need after your CPC exam.

Tom is a brilliant instructor that really knows his stuff, he is so helpful and gives great insight and guides on how a transport manager should work.

I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to gain knowledge and experience as a TM. :)

Transport Managers unlocked , I am so glad that this course is available. After i passed My Transport Managers course i thought what now ... My knowledge and confidence after completing the course is far greater than before it . Tom delivered the course in a way that made things much clearer to my role as a TM , any emails i send , even after the course are always replied to with help and useful information. I would highly recommend this course , in My opinion it is such a valid and much needed course and i am just grateful that i found it , Thank you so much MDR and Tom . Oh and the name for the course is perfect ! It certainly unlocked it for me , well done .

Attended the TM cpc course for hgv, really great course! Tom explained everything really well to help us understand things properly, day one I didn’t really know much at all about the industry, by the end of the course I learnt so much in such a short period of time, went into the exam feeling confident!

I then attended the TM unlocked course with Tom, I’m really glad I booked this extended course as this has taught me what I actually need to know to do the job properly, Tom also sent me a lot of helpful documents to help me in future for my career! Feeling very confident going into the industry and it’s all thanks to Tom and the team at MDR training! Can’t recommend you guys enough for your knowledge and help! 😊

The TM Unlocked course is a must for all new passes of the TM CPC, regardless of experience. The course was delivered in a very professional way by Tom Reddy and has given me not only the practical knowledge needed, but also the confidence to start as an External TM. Definitely one of the best courses I have ever been on. Excellent. Thank you Tom and MDR.

I booked with MDR Training because their online CPC training allowed me to study around work in an easily managed way. Brad was an excellent tutor and although it relies on hard work, I felt confident in taking the exams. Having passed these I've just returned to MDR for the 'TM unlocked' course taken by Tom Reddy, a fantastic insight into the practicalities of doing the job. I can't recommend MDR enough.

Completed CILT TM CPC - PSV. We chose to do remote online learning. The literature provided along side the constant support and knowledge from tutors was excellent. The course does takes a lot of dedication and self discipline. A few times I felt lost but a quick call or email put me back on track. Thank you MDR good job!

Just completed the 3 day TM unlocked course with Tom Reddy as our instructor. We completed it on zoom which was great as I live in West Wales. Tom was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. It was that extra step that I personally needed from passing my TM cpc a couple of months ago which I also did
through MDR at COTS training centre. I feel I now have the tools and confidence to put what I have learned into practice. A very worthwhile course for anyone with a TM qualification, would highly recommend it...10/10 !!!
