When I got my interviews, I wanted to put my best face forward, so I decided to do invest in a mock interview. I got to have a practice go at the traditional and MMI interview questions with a current resident physician. Dr.Karatas’s feedbacks were fair and helpful, I feel less nervous about my upcoming interview. I’m glad I took the leap of faith. I was gonna wing it by reading MMI interview books but the mock interviews absolutely equipped me with confidence and thoughtful guidance.

I did a mock interview with Lina to prepare for residency interviews, and it was a great experience! The booking process was smooth and they had availability with a quick turnaround, which I needed. During our session, she was professional, encouraging, and gave direct actionable feedback. She helped me with overall approach to questions and the content of some of my answers. Med mentors was a great service to work with, and I would definitely choose them again.

Dr. Lina conducted my mock interview and she was great! She provided constructive, individualized feedback for each question and was also very personable. I had a wonderful experience working with Dr. Nguyen, Dr. Johnson and Dr. Trinh to edit my application and prep for my interviews. The value of the feedback/insight you will receive is reasonably priced, and I felt that I was given immediate, translational feedback on what to improve on and how to effectively convey my voice in my application and interviews. Dr. Trinh and Katherine played such a huge role in helping me get accepted into the Clinician Scientist Pathway at McGill (MSc-DMD program, which only takes two students a year). My 1-on-1 interview session with Dr. Schwartzman went amazing. She asked me about 8-10 common interview questions and then gave me personalized feedback on my answer for each question (even suggesting better adjectives, examples, how to end my answers, etc). She was truly very easy to talk to and made me feel comfortable and more confident by the end of our hour together. Highly recommend her if you’re an applicant applying to derm residency!
