My experience with Dubaicare Insurance and Mednet has been consistently terrible. Delayed approvals, unjustified claim rejections, and zero coordination between both parties make even basic processes exhausting.

Customer support is ineffective—no clear answers, no accountability, and no urgency. You end up chasing them repeatedly with no resolution.

For services related to health, this level of inefficiency is unacceptable. It feels like customers are left to deal with unnecessary stress due to poor management and lack of professionalism

Rubbish company! I have tried to submit my claim FIVE times and the site keeps rejecting, saying there is a '<' symbol in there somewhere. There is not. I cannot lodge a complaint on the site because it rejects my phone number, saying it is the wrong format. It is not - it is written exactly as the example given. All the call centre numbers given are 'not in use'. USELESS COMPANY!

Mednet in Oman is a terrible insurance. My global Cigna plan is managed by Mednet in Oman, I don’t know why? Before mednet is introduced, Cigna in Oman was working perfectly. But now my insurance is being cancelled by mednet, despite my Cigna global is just OK. Mednet is incapable in managing anything and os a terrible company full of people with inefficiencies, lack of capabilities. I could not get healthcare because of a glitch in their system in Oman, thus I flew to Turkey, since I have global Cigna that works anywhere in the world except the country I live in, Oman.

Do NOT use this insurance provider under any circumstances. They will reject any claim, no matter how valid, for the most nonsensical reasons. I cannot believe they are allowed to operate in the UAE. Ethically corrupt to the core.

First of all, if I could give a 0 stars, I would! This insurance company is the WORST INSURANCE COMPANY EVER! In 10 years of living in the UAE and having different insurance providers, MEDNET is a literal NIGHTMARE! From the very beginning they kept rejecting EVERYTHING! We had to waste time to call them and sometimes they were accepting the submission or a request but most of the time, if not always, they were rejecting all of of requests. It is absolute WASTE OF MONEY! Please, NEVER PURCHASE ANY INSURANCE FROM MEDNET!!!

The biggest mistake i made was purchasing Mednet insurance for my wife. Actually i purchase Metlife but lateR got insurance card from Mednet then found out they are the partners.
First I took my wife to doctor and ot was showng 6 months waiting period on maternity but there was nothing mention like this on my contract. after waiting for 10 days and several emails they said it was mistake from there side so they remove that but i already spend money in private clinic that they are not giving in reimbursement.
Secondly, All the clinic and hospitals list mention in their network list half of them don't cover mednet and what is funny thing I call Aster qusais about coverage they said my insurance has condition that i can only go to Aster from 10pm to 8 am. MashaAllah now i have to get sick according to this time. and nothing mentioned on policy.
Thirdly They have some problems of Tariffs with some clinics, Yesterday on 12-06-2025 I took my wife to one clinic for Gyne , consultation was covered Doctor advised BETA HCG test and that I found out that clinic have tariff issue with Mednet and because of there tariff issues i have to take my pregnant wife to another clinic for this blood test.
Small conversation through email taking 8 days and to resolve any issue.

If I could give zero stars, I would! MedNet UAE is the biggest scam in the insurance industry. I am a Gold Member, paying over 8,600 AED per year, yet when I needed a crucial ligament surgery for my knee, they flat-out rejected it after making me go through an endless loop of paperwork and excuses!

Their strategy is simple: if your medical condition is minor, they will approve it to look good. But the moment you need real medical help, they will do everything to dodge their responsibility. They keep asking for unnecessary documents, delay approvals, and in the end, they will still reject you!

So, what’s the point of paying such a high premium if they won’t cover essential medical procedures? MedNet is just taking people's hard-earned money and offering nothing in return when it truly matters.

Save yourself the headache and choose a real insurance company that actually cares about its customers. MedNet is a disgrace, and I wouldn’t trust them even for a paracetamol prescription!

If I could award zero stars i would. Med Net Medical Insurance is everything all the other reviews say and more so absolutely avoid at all costs. In my experience you will never ever ever get reimbursed or have any investigations covered as they just refuse to do so without being able to provide any clinical rational as to their decisions. The app does not work, their complaints process online does not work and complaints sent via email even when marked as Formal complaint go unanswered. Interesting to see them on LinkedIn when announcing the appointment of their new CEO that they promote Excellence In Health Care as this could not be further from the truth in my experience

They won’t approve some routine injections for my child and when they do approve prepare to wait for at least 2 hours for the approval while they incompetently deal with the healthcare providers. Avoid this insurance. Read their google reviews, any other company with that many 1 star reviews would have been shut down by the government for scamming people.

My Med Net Insurance ordeal was a nightmare. Despite being a gold card holder, I faced incompetence and neglect. It all began with severe leg pain, hindering basic tasks like climbing stairs. Despite doctor consultations and MRI scans, Med Net mishandled my case. They approved an MRI for my right foot but heartlessly denied coverage for my left leg, prolonging my suffering until discovering knee cartilage damage. Months of pleading for necessary surgery ensued. They insisted on a cheap hospital against my wishes, and post-op, they refused coverage for crucial supplies like crutches, deeming them "cosmetic." They even denied an essential injection minutes before surgery, causing undue stress. After the procedure, they cut my hospital stay short, leaving me in pain, and refused to cover vital post-op medication. Their lack of empathy and incompetence are shocking. Avoid Med Net at all costs.

My wife has recently had to deal with Mednet for the purposes of obtaining an approval for a surgery. Unfortunate her case is complex, however, Mednet have demonstrated that they are just unwilling to work with patients and hospitals in order to provide a good outcome. The Mednet team have demonstrated high levels of incompetence, with multiple staff giving different answers to the same questions. They have no way of escalating issues and outright refuse for any senior person to call you back. Their customer service staff lack any empathy and come across as rude which just escalates emotions. If you are looking for a healthcare provider I would recommend you stay away from Mednet.

Avoid this insurance company at all costs !!!

They are just scammers, they get your money and they will never approve your health issue!!
They let you suffer untill you die
