We recently got set up with Melbourne Capital, and the experience has been seamless, largely thanks to Adam Humphries. From the very beginning, Adam has been incredibly helpful, patient, and highly knowledgeable. This was my first time getting financial advice and Tom made the whole experience a lot less daunting than I thought it would be. I met Adam Kinsey at a Curry Club dinner and realized he and Melbourne Capital could help me with a problem. I moved to Penang from the U.S. in April 2025 and thought I had all my financial accounts in order. Only after moving did I realize that the U.S. has stringent reporting rules for expats, something that has led financial institutions to simply stop servicing expats. After discovering I had relocated, one of my U.S. banks sent a notification that they would be closing my accounts, and the investment management group at Fidelity told me I could invest on my own, but they could no longer manage my account. Also, the reality of trying to do business with the time zone difference hit home. I laid out my situation with Adam, and he and the Melbourne Capital team were able to develop new solutions for me that met all the requirements and allow me to have a local single point of contact. My experience so far has been excellent.
