Consistently superior customer service. I’ve banked there for over 10 years and staff has always been knowledgeable and honest.

If your only choice for a loan is members1st, walk away. Get a loan elsewhere or do without. My partner got a loan with them; they didn’t send any paperwork for 3 weeks, then suddenly the first payment is due, he goes online to sign up and set up a payment method (which they sit on for 3 business days before activating according to their documentation). The process appears to work, but there is no record of it anywhere; and it just never appears even a week later. He goes online to sign up again, it appears to work again, and nothing. He phones them, they claim there is no record of his signing up before but they saw the one from the morning he called — but there still is no payment method listed after that one, either. There is no way to pay the loan except to transfer money — but their money transfers don’t work! They claim the only other way to pay is to PHONE someone at their number and give them your debit card information. What kind of business is this? The first rule of business is make it easy for people to pay you money. This organization literally does nothing that works.

I had $205.00 in a checking account at the members 1st in Etters,Pa. It sat there and wasn’t hurting anyone yet this “bank” closed my account, without my knowledge, AND took all of the money I had in there to total $205.00. I never got a chance to make any deposits because I didn’t have the money. Now, I’m a senior citizen on a fixed income and cannot afford to constantly keep the account active. I figured it was a small nest egg in case of an emergency. Only to be sent a letter saying the account had been closed. I went down in person the very next day (I live 5 minutes away) and told them about this problem. They didn’t want to hear any of it. They STOLE my money. All of it! They REFUSE to give it back. It’s pretty bad when banks start stealing from senior citizens. They could care less and won’t make it right. BEWARE if you decide to use this credit union. They WILL steal your money. They DONOT care! That money was all I had in case of an emergency. Don’t deal with THIEVES!

I've been banking with M1 my entire life and they've always been responsive and listened to my concerns, especially when purchasing my first home. I'll likely be with M1 my entire life.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Trying to get a car loan was like pulling teeth. Every day they wanted another document. After 10 documents over the course of 10 days I gave up. I'm moving my funds and current car loan elsewhere.

If you are trying to build up your credit and are looking for a "second chance," do not consider this credit union. A more appropriate name for them would be Members Last FCU. They have no integrity, and they are difficult to do business with.

Best bank ever. Tellers are great. The app is the best. They take good care of their members

Douglas Wise from this credit union forward back a legitimate sba loan ach deposit in a blatant biased attempt to destroy a small electrical company business. When he knew that he could have made a more informed decision. This bank has little minority representation. Look at it's employee line up in York, PA Even the SBA was baffled by these actions when the member had all appropriate documents. Doug even went as far as giving notification to another bank to block our deposits from SBA. Any minority putting their money in this bank is perpetuating racial injustice.
