It's hard to order foundation or tinted sunscreen from a swatch on a computer. When my tinted sunscreen arrived, it was a little too dark. Within 24 hours, a customer service rep had suggested another color and shipped it out. They did not ask me to ship back the wrong shade.

Wonderful SPF, The Uniform! alAfter years of trying to get a spf to match my skin colour, to not be too shiny or too drying I found it! Please don't ever change the formula!!

I give five stars for the product. The Beverly Hills shade of blush is perfect for my skin and it is my go to blush. The price would be fair if I could use the entire product. When I’ve emailed the company, they did explain that the container is filled, and when you can no longer rub it on your cheek from the container, it’s deemed “end of product life.” It also seems there is no place to submit a photo because I would estimate that 50% of the product is below the little plastic spikes that need to be cut away with snips to utilize approximately half the product that I purchased.

I have placed 2 orders with Merit Beauty within a week. One skincare set, and the other makeup set with the Minimalist, blush and bronzer. My face broke out horribly. I have requested returns for both orders. I also emailed customer service with a canned AI response. I wished I had read the reviews here before purchasing anything from this company! I do not continue to use products that claim non-comedogenic, and breakout my face or irritate it! Customer service is non-existent! Stay away!

I Purchased an eye set $150 which included an eyeshadow that was completely dry when I opened it.
I contacted customer service and was told that their formula is made to dry quickly when applying and therefore the product dries. There is only a 6 mo after opening symbol on the product, which is really short for an eyeshadow, although I doubt it even lasts that long.
When I said that I had not opened the product until now, the response was that the life of the product is 6 months and any thing beyond that will likely cause drying. Because I was beyond the 30 day return exchange, their “courtesy” offer was to give me 20% off, valid for a very short time, on the purchase of another shadow. 20% off and paying for shipping….where is the courtesy? Why would I buy another shadow?
I wish I had seen the reviews earlier, I would never have ordered. Lesson learned no more products from Merit.
They won’t be around for long anyway, with this kind of service and terrible products that are oily, smell rancid (moisturizer), dry out. Won’t be long before they go under.
My family and friends will no longer buy anything from Merit, that’s at least 30 customers lost. Great job Merit.

I messaged this brand on Instagram a pic of me and they picked an entire skin care routine for my shade, they obvs could not decipher skin type but I order things in phases.
I’ve been using their concealer in the shade bone that they recommended and it’s perfect, the a week or so later I sent them the same pic on insta and they recommended clay in the bronz balm, I haven’t got it yet but I just know it’ll be perfect because they told me on Instagram!
They have someone full time look at your picture and decipher your shade when you don’t have time to go in store, obviously it can be wrong sometimes but I’ve done it twice now and they have been spot on! I would 100% recommend!!!!

Unfortunately stick is a no for me. Ot started breakin me out, i guess its lack of hygynic aspect(bacteria transfer onto stick, even when using brush) but serum and moisturising cream amaaaaazing. I wish they would have standard foundation in tube😭

On my order page it said I was getting free shipping, however on checking out they charged me an additional £7 for shipping. I contacted them to ask that they refund the shipping charge or cancel the order but they have refused to do either. I will definitely not use them again.

Be carefull if you order from Italy: my order was not delivered due to a mistake in the civic number of my address and Merti has offered me NO SUPPORT AT ALL. They eventually stopped answering my emails asking for support and even if items have bee shipped back to them by italian courier GLS (they also did not offer any support to me to solve the problem), they still do not answer my request of a refund. I have probably lost my money and this is a shame. Seriuos companies behave different

I love the Merit minimalist perfecting complexion stick, it’s so nice to use for covering breakouts and imperfections and I love that is non toxic, clean and cruelty free. I am also so impressed by Merit’s customer service, they were so kind and helpful! Really recommend!

I saw all the bad reviews after I had already ordered a foundation stick. I just wanted to post my positive experience since they had a lot of bad reviews. My foundation stick was sent out right away. It works great and the color matches.

Ordered and received their complexion stick, which was not the right shade. I used their shade match service to find my recommended shade. Everything was fine until I replied confirming I wanted the replacement shade and have still not heard anything back for over a week despite multiple attempts at contacting. I don't really know where to go from here so I am leaving this review in attempt to get some kind of communication.

Having read bad reviews after I’d ordered I had to feedback my absolute delight with the excellent customer service I received and the lovely beautiful products.
I ordered on Boxing Day and received the products today! ( 30/12)
The winter set is so lovely with beautiful shades, I already had a merit eyeshadow so knew it was good quality.
The free makeup bag is really nice too.

Emailed them before an order was even produced to cancel- they said couldn’t cancel order but could “return to sender via USPS” upon receiving. USPS says you cannot; have waited well over a week with no communication from Merit despite multiple attempts at contact. AND the makeup is over priced and orange tinted. Terrible company

Order never arrived and can’t get a reply

Absolutely awful service. Had not realised the date and being they are american my items wont arrive in time for christmas as a gift. No more than two minutes after buying I emailed as per their website to cancel my order. They then told mw I cannot cancel what so ever due to their ‘expected processing times’. Now i run an ecomm brand and know this to be an absolute lie. They are now ignoring me so i will be proceeding with a chargeback claim. Useless customer service. Useless company!!

My daughter ordered a product that I typically purchase from Sephora, but this time she wanted to surprise me with the free holiday gifts offered. The order shows as delivered, yet we never received it. It has now been a week since we contacted customer service through their only option—email—and we have not received any response. My 16-year-old daughter is genuinely upset, as she was trying to buy me a holiday gift. Due to this experience, I will no longer be purchasing my eyebrow gel or any product from this company.

I ordered from Merit on the 29/11 and have still not received my order. I contacted the courier EVRI and they have lost my parcel! I have been emailing Merit for the past week asking for their help but I am just being ignored. I am so disappointed - I have been really impressed in the past but unfortunately Merit have let their standards slip. I appreciate it is a busy time of the year however I would expect better customer service. Perhaps if you cannot cope with the volume of your orders/customer enquiries you should make some changes?!? I wish I had not ordered from you, this was a Christmas present and now it is too late for me to re-purchase.

Placed an expensive order over a month ago now and still not received it. There is only an email address for customer services so you’re at the mercy of whether they decide to email back. I’ve emailed twice now with no reply and no indication of whether I will receive what I ordered. It was also a Christmas gift so I need to spend out on something else now. I trusted them because of their partnerships with some influencers I follow, but please steer clear.
