If i could give a minus star i would, absolute scam hoover broke after a couple of uses and promised refund then stopped responding to emails.

The goods received was not what was advertised. I was expecting a foldable , hammock style camping chair in khaki, and received a black, basic CHILD's chair. No reply to my emails yet

This company is a scam . You will probably receive your goods but if there’s any problems you are completely ignored . STAY WELL CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY

A scam company from Hong Kong, purchased a robot vacuum that only vacuums and does not mop, as advertised, and stops vacuuming after 5 minutes and just sits there until you press the on button, which starts it again for another 5 minutes - made contact with them but they denied anything wrong after far too many emails they eventually offered a 15% refund as a good will gesture…. Ho ho ho …. Now they will not even respond to my emails If only I had looked on trustpilot before I made the purchase, well we live and learn - AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS

As a vacuum cleaner it's OK. But the mopping let's it down terribly. Unless you empty any remaining cleaning fluid out of the tank it will continue to leak out making a worse mess and damage to the laminate flooring it's supposed to clean! I've had this machine for over six months and I can't use it for wet mopping because of this continuing problem and cleanova refused to replace the leaking tank.

Don’t buy anything from mimmy shop their policies don’t conform to uk consumer rights which means you need to claim through your credit card to get your money back once the product breaks( which it will do) if you find yourself in that position don’t let them scare you. Don’t take any offers and do not send the item back! It’s down to them to collect.

Ordered a robovac and got sent a cheap chinese knock off. Useless, blows shit around doesn’t clean. Total waste of money. Took forever to arrive as coming from overseas despite company saying they only post to Australia.

Ordered a robot hoover for my mother aged 95. Never mentioned it needed a smart phone to operate. Realised the product was useless when it arrived with an American plug. Filled in the returns form within the 14 days and requested a return address. No reply. Repeated the process. No reply. Sent many emails to the company. No reply. My 95 year old mother now owns a useless product which I cannot return. Also they sent the “rate our product” email before it had even arrived and as it was time restricted I couldn’t even complain on that.

It did ok on some carpet areas. But it would not even pick up catnip in a very low profile rug. When I emailed the company they said they would give me back 20% even though it is 100% ineffective. Don't waste your money or your time. Go with a reputable American company!

Can you provide a negitave marking system, one star is too many. Lumicast projector !! Absolutely junk with no name and unbranded packaging. Say they have refunded 50% but wont give details. They haven’t as I’ve checked. Now they have blocked my email etc.
ABSOLUTE CROOKS, AVOID AT ALL COSTS. YOU WILL GET A PACKAGE, YES, BUT NOT WORKING AND NO REFUND. THEIR POLICE IS ALL LIES.

1000% SCAM. My LumiCast K90 Projector took at least 4 weeks to arrive only to find its a different projector. I Googled it and can buy it for a 1/3 of the price.
These scam sites put you off in the future from buying off non well known site like Ebay or Amazon. TOTAL SCAM..................AVOID

Bought a robot hoover which is as good as useless. They advised me to take its part and put back together to see if it would work. Gave me an address to return it to China or offered me a ‘goodwill’ 15% refund and keep their rubbish.
You couldn’t make it up.

Absolute joke. 2hour cancellation window. Product substandard. Nothing to link me to the order. Return address eventually provided in China where it can't seem to get past customs 2 months later. They also wanted my tracking number, wonder why!! Will chase through section 75. AVOID

projector was not a lumicast projector as advertised. The screen was a translucent sheet.
worse still, attempt to return just gets responses from a bot, it seems.

How can such scam be stopped or the company held accountable

Just to let the other people out there who have been conned by mimyy, after nearly 3 months of emailing them nearly every single day,I called them out on their lies and everything,finally today they refunded my full amount of £170.10 for thrir fake hoover, so dont give up.

After months of back and forward emails for 2 items that I ordered and only one turned up and the one that did turn up was utter crap!! They don’t send what you order. Complete scam!

If you order from them, contact your bank asap and get a charge back! You won’t get a refund from this company. My bank refunded me from my current account (not even a credit card) with no arguments.

Just like everyone else, the product sent was not what was expected. It will not pair with the app and I have to post it back to SouthEast Asia at my expense if I want a refund. I see that they are now selling on Amazon too.

I would have preferred to leave no stars but sadly can’t. I ordered a robotic cleaner at the end of August 2025 from what I thought was a UK based company (London office address) and although I’ve received it, it doesn’t satisfactorily pick up anything.
I didn’t receive a paper trail, ie order number, emails from this company, despite asking for this info from them.
I’ve still contacted mimyy asking for a refund because I’ve got the proof they’ve had my hard earned cash on my bank statement, but from reading other feedback, I won’t get anywhere with a refund.
Definitely didn’t know I was buying from Hong Kong, if I had known that, I wouldn’t have placed an order for this piece of cheap plastic. My 4 year old grandson could make a better cleaner from his LEGO.

This company a scammers. I ordered a doorbell camera, then instantly changed my mind. Emailed asking to cancel the order, to be told it had shipped already, even though the tracking which was based in CHINA didn't leave for 2 days.
Told customer services continually I didn't want it and to cancel order.
Now its here, they say I have to return it to ASIA at my cost and have to pay a 35% restocking fee. None of which is stated on their website refund policy.
Also company website says .co.uk and contact address is UK based yet I have to return to Asia at my cost? Clearly a scam to stop you returning it.
I will be claim a refund via my credit card as a fraudulent transaction.

Leaf blower eventually arrived after 6 weeks minus any instructions or the Battery == unusable
Made of exceptionally poor quality plastic.
Awaiting response and returning cost.
How can it have passed any reviews by BBC,theGardian or the Telegraph which I had followed
