I don't have a printer and urgently needed to send a Confidential letter so thought I'd try Modernmail. Not sure on what sort of service I would receive I uploaded my letter on a Sunday, it was posted the following morning and delivered the next day at a very reasonable price with several postal options. A 5 star service throughout and I will definitely use this service again

Super easy to use, saves me huge amount of time and a bit of money. But more so the time - especially for those of us who live abroad but need to communicate with Government agencies. No more waiting “10-12 working days” posting critical letters back. Brilliant service!

I’ve used this service a number of times and it’s extremely reliable, exactly what I asked for and I would absolutely recommend it!

Like someone else on here said, I work abroad so ModernMail has saved me a huge admin task of doing this myself. I used the Special Delivery service and it was received by the party the next day. Great service thank you.

I had a pretty bad first experience but since then they have been really helpful dealing with RoyalMail's idiocy.
RoyalMail otoh seem to be incapable of delivering letters in any sort of reliable fashion.

I paid for a signed delivery of a letter. It was never delivered, ModernMail simply ignores me. I don't seem to have proof of postage so I can't contact RoyalMail and ModernMail simply couldnt' care less.

Updated stars to reflect that after I posted this review they did fix the situation (you can see their response). Better than nothing but still was an overall bad experience.

Used these 4 different times. Never had a problem. Always reached it's destination. Cheaper than buying a printer, ink etc... Will continue to use.

I just had my car scrapped, but lost the VC5 so DVLS only need a letter. I was thinking Oh no! i have no printer. I have to handwrite it, take a drive to get an envelope and stamp and put it in the postbox. But I realised it was 2026, got ChatGPT to make the PDF and sent it my modernmail. Slightly more expensive than posting by hand but actually not when you consider the saving in labour and transport.

Excellent, have used this twice now and it is far superior to the other online mail providers. Much less fields to fill in and a PayPal option as well... great!

Great service to use if your printer packs up or you are simply away from it.

Amazing service in every sense. I needed to send urgent documents, and they processed my order and shipped the item in no time. On top of that, when Royal Mail didn’t update the tracking and I worried the mail might be lost, I asked about resending it at my own expense. Modernmail were not only highly professional but also incredibly kind to they resent the mail and covered the cost themselves to reassure me about the delivery. I can’t recommend them enough; they truly made my day.

Using this service for the first time was really helpful, especially since my printer decided to jam permanently and I needed an alternative. It also gave me confidence knowing the company had strong reviews.

What truly stood out was how I accidentally ruined my order and contacted them straight away once I realised. They corrected it quickly and even sent the order through sooner than expected. I am genuinely grateful for how fast and professional the whole process was. I often worry about slow responses from companies because customer service has changed so much since COVID. Even with the shift in how many businesses communicate, Modermail handled everything incredibly well and far exceeded my expectations. Thank you for the great service and please keep it up.

Worked as expected. I had the option to courier documents from South America or use this service. SIgnificantly cheaper and worked well.
