My experience with MoneyTO has been extremely disappointing. I was repeatedly given conflicting information regarding my refund. I was told in writing that the refund would be returned by a specific date and that the credit would be processed within 2 days. When that deadline passed, customer support failed to provide a clear answer or confirmation as to whether the funds had actually been returned.
Instead of receiving straightforward communication, I was met with vague and inconsistent responses that left me with little confidence in the company. As a customer, I expect transparency and honesty, especially when it comes to handling my money. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.
The lack of accountability and failure to provide clear updates forced me to consider escalating the matter through my bank. A process that should have been simple became unnecessarily stressful due to poor customer service and misleading information.
Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to exercise caution before using this service.

We are very sorry to hear about the experience you had and that the communication around your refund caused you frustration and uncertainty. We fully understand that, when money is involved, customers expect clear, transparent and consistent updates.
At MoneyTO, refunds are normally processed within 2 working days and returned to the sender’s original bank account. Once the refund has been released from our side, the final time for the funds to appear in the bank account can also depend on the sender’s bank. In some cases, the receiving bank may take a further 3–5 working days to credit the money back into the account.
We have reviewed the process in relation to your case and can confirm that the refund was sent within the promised timeframe. Unfortunately, after the funds are returned from our side, the final crediting process is outside MoneyTO’s direct control.
That said, we are sorry that the updates you received did not give you enough clarity. We will take your feedback seriously and use it to improve how we communicate refund timelines to our customers in the future.
We would be happy to welcome you back anytime you wish to try MoneyTO Money Transfer again, and we sincerely hope to provide you with a much better experience next time.

Terrible experience trying to send…
Terrible experience trying to send money to Colombia, after they took the payment and several days of waiting for the money to come through I called them to get an status of the transfer and they said they needed to talk to their “partners” called again next day and no update , they are still waiting for the response in their p”artners” , tried to cancel and they won’t give me my money back

Unfortunately, there was an issue on our partner’s side in Colombia, which we had not been made aware of in advance. We are currently working hard with our partner to resolve this matter and resume money transfers to Colombia as soon as possible.
Regarding your refund, we can confirm that it is currently being processed. Normally, refunds take around 3 working days to be completed and returned to your bank account.

Be ware, it's non-reputable company
I got carried away by the slightly higher rate moneyto.co.uk offered me after I got a call from their agent. I sent £1021 to my account in Pakistan on 28/3/2025. After 24 hours, money still hasn't been credited to my account though it was supposed to be instant. I asked for a refund, they refused stating money had been "sent" to partner bank in Pakistan. It's a scam company. Now I have to raise dispute with Nationwide visa to get my money back. What a hassle and what a bad experience for first time use. I will not be using this company ever again. I hope I don't lose my £1021.
