Mont Adventure Equipment is an independent Australian company founded in Canberra in 1981. We're serious gear users and stand by our product. After years of frustrations with the poor quality of adventure clothing and equipment available, Monty had enough and made something better, something he could rely on. In 1978, using a borrowed sewing machine, he made himself a sleeping bag, down jacket and tent. Friends were impressed by his creations, and commissioned pieces. A reputation for quality gear quickly spread and in 1981 Mont Adventure Equipment was founded. While Mont has long since outgrown Monty's small unit in Canberra, Australia, he still directs the company and works closely with a passionate team on the design and testing of all Mont products. As dedicated adventurers ourselves, quality is never compromised just to save a few cents. To this day Mont Adventure Equipment is still privately owned, based in Canberra, fiercely independent and totally committed to better gear for the wild. My order was delivered same day in Canberra! Sale items were as advertised. Size 14 womens hiking zip off pants are bigger than what I expected around the hips but will do as I'm between sizes.

Product was perfect, check out experience was not
Product was perfect, the checkout experience was terrifying with Mont sending an authentication text to my mobile - I hadn't supplied my mobile at any stage, only my email. When I expressed my horror Mont felt it was not there fault???? If it is on your website - it is yours to control.

High quality , lovely feel
I’ve had some Mont t- shirts and sleeping bag for over 20 years which I’ve used a lot. Still in good condition. So decided to spend a decent amount and get more clothes from mont. excellent quality, fit and comfort. And if they last 5 years they’ll be a great investment- but I reckon they’ll last longer..

Exped Megamat 10
I ordered an Exped Megamat 10 from Mont Adventure. Shipping was fast and the mattress is great. This Exped Megamat is more expensive compared to other air mattresses I’ve tried but it was definitely worth it, much more comfortable than cheaper alternatives. I am very happy with it.
