Morgan woods along with all the other linked businesses are putting in false R&D claims, taking the commisson then when HMRC ask questions are no where to be seen! ive heard today that they have now also ceased trading! Theyve had over 25K out of me!!!!

Avoid any companys that are linked, Kirby Haslam, Green Jellyfish, AD R&D, Purple Panda, Toucan Blue, Aston Berry, Aston Shaw and the others!!

Morgan woods handled my claim for 2 years R&D, we agreed on a rate that was based on the return, there was no claim for the 1st year and a fairly small amount on the 2nd, and after their fees I should of received £900ish, This never arrived and now being investigated and can't get hold of them to answer the necessary questions HMRC require.

Since i am new to this R&D claim and don't fully understand it even now , i firmly believe that Morgan woods took advantage of me !
They have submitted claim last year promising 8/12 week turn out and smooth transition . They did return first year and we were awaiting /still are for the second year . ( it has been exactly 1 years since )
As it stands today , i have received notice of enquiry from HMRC which only they can supply necessary answers to , however i cant get in touch with them at all! Phone line does not work and emails fade in oblivion, no matter how many i send its always unanswered.
Option A - they are unprofessional fools and overloaded with potential promises to the clients .
Option B - it is simple fraud !

Regardless , please do not get involved with them or if you can get through , do share details . Maybe we can help each other !

Morgan Woods agreed to submit three claims on our behalf and take commission from each one. It turns out that they only submitted two but took their commission for all three. They have agreed to refund us but the funds haven’t landed and they are now ignoring all emails and the phone line isn’t working.

My reviews were constantly removed by this company as I was letting people know that this company is a SCAM.

Trust pilot are allowing these to be removed. Shame on you TP.

Well guess what… looks like I was correct…

Please look at the site called tax policy dot org. And search for Green Jelly Fish. Looks like this fish has been caught on the line.

Not sure what to make of this company. We agreed the 30% commission to Morgan Woods meaning that if we did not qualify for a refund they would pay it out. We qualified for 1 year claim and paid them 30% , looking as if the 2nd claim is being denied so they owe us and now my emails are being ignored?

Will not answer the phone or respond to emails.
Also, didn't respond to HMRC in a timely manner so HMRC closed the claim.
Terrible service.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - no contact from them after issues with the claim for R&D - repeated phone calls with the promise to call back. (which never happens)
Now I am getting letters from HMRC flagging a fraudulent claim and they are investigating my company! I've been paying Corp tax / VAT / PAYE for years with no issues until interacting with this company! Stress that no small business needs.

I would highly recommend you stay away from this company! Morgan woods were in charge of our R&D claim against HMRC, total claim was circa 209k and we were given the option of a guarantee, that if HMRC rejected it they would pay out less their fee which would have been circa 137k. Well I’m sure you can guess they have decided to ignore all calls and emails and are refusing to pay out on their guarantee. I have now passed this on to my contract legal team and will be issuing a CCJ along with costs, stay away from these charlatans they do not honour their agreements and the next time I’ll be seeing them is in court.

My name is Gregor Morawski I have been lied by Morgan and Woods .they are giving wrong advice to people and hoping Hmrc will not check the claim They illegally took my corporation tax from previous year. We have received official letter from hmrc that my claim is not accepted and they are advising on re submitting it .
I have lost 20k now and would like to
Take them to court but I would like to check if they are other people here who are in the same position so we can build the criminal case against. They supposed work us our advisors not still money from us .

Avoid at all costs!
Watch out for these kinds of sharks. They’ll promise you money back based on government incentives but they’re not honest at all.
Akshit on the phone told me specifically that HMRC paid their fees, I have this on email also.
A year later and Morgan Woods are sending my threatening letters saying I have to pay the bill now. Absolutely not. I have it in writing and I’ll keep that for court!
Do not use them. They’re part of a bunch of pop up companies that take small businesses for money. I actually have the phone number of the guy who spoke to me who no longer works there and he’s told me that they’re sending out invoices and threatening letters like mad at the moment.
They must be in financial trouble, imo.

Since my previous review Morgan Woods wrote to me and offered a small settlement to resolve my dispute. The only issue was they told me I had to change my opinion of them to tell friends that they should use Morgan Wood and give them my friends details. In addition I had to take my negative review down. I explained to them that I can't make my friends use them as a company and then they started threatening legal action. Therefore, this company and other companies they own (Green Jellyfish) are not very pleasant people in my opinion. I also find it very odd that Green Jellyfish have seemed to have jumped their score up from 2 stars to nearly 3.5 stars in a short period. It is also odd that most of these new 5 star reviews have come from people who have only ever done one or 2 reviews. It is even more odd that one of these people who has done 4 reviews have given 2 separate companies 5 stars on the same day with a copied and pasted review and both companies have a guy called Alan who installed their phone service for them.

Excellent service from start to finished, HRMC compliance was won within 3 months, I never thought we would win this, I thought my claim was going to be rejected. Glad I kept going. Hard and times, HMRC my you doubt yourself.

Morgan Woods is the same Director as Green Jellyfish, Green Jellyfish have caused me untold misery with HMRC. Please see Green Jellyfish reviews where others have had very painful experiences which they have detailed. When I wrote a review for Green Jellyfish they threatened me with legal action unless I took it down. Everything I have stated is true and can be backed up with emails and paperwork.

Morgan Woods is the same director as Green Jellyfish aka GJ2020. I was scammed £20k. They submitted a fraudulent claim that was rejected by HMRC. The claim was totally invalid. Now faced with penalties and interest. And they are refusing to return my fee of £20k.

Amazing service from Jordan in the Glasgow office, really put my mind at ease and spent so much time with myself to make sure everything was perfect. I've received my payment in only a matter of weeks and couldn't recommend Jordan any more absolute pleasure working alongside him

Stuart Leslie was a credit to himself and the company and was always at hand for a chat/conversation. The turn around was quicker than expected also!
