We totally enjoyed our trip. Our driver Rachid was terrific. His vehicle was always kept very clean, he was an excellent and safe driver, and highly accommodating of our requests (bathroom and coffee stops, advice, and deep lively discussions about many aspects of Morocco along the way) . He also gave us great ad hoc advice about options to visit, and how long it took to get there. The ancient history of Morocco is stunning with its narrow passage medinas contrasting with the spectacular riads you enter from those medina passages, which deliver you inside to a peaceful quiet world of comfort, and relaxation inside the riad. There are so many beautiful historic sites which speak to its rich cultural history. The suggested itinerary is very thoughtful and informative, and flexibly arranged between yourself and the US based staff. Also the advantage of having your own personal driver (vs going in a group) is well worth the added cost. Among the advantages are the ability to change plans enroute. The highlight for us was the night in the Sahara desert watching the sunset on a camel ride. The food in the riads and restaurants prescheduled in the trip was always excellent. Overall we were thrilled with our trip. Thank you Jeff, Rachid and Jill (and all support staff at Morocco Tours that we didn't meet) for a well organized and most unforgettable trip !!!

A tour of Morocco is only as good as the tour guide. Our tour guide, Khalid, was the best. Not just extremely knowledgeable but a caring sensitive person. He heard all of our requests and somehow made them all happen. We were concerned about spending hours in the car on some long drives. Khalid found numerous interesting places for us to stop and stretch our legs.
The riads and restaurants arranged by Morocco Tours were excellent.
This was truly one of the best vacations we have had. I would recommend Morocco Tours in a heartbeat.

Our trip to Morocco with Morocco Tours was a wonderful experience. I went with a friend had been to Morocco twice before and she had invited me to go with her for another visit.
The company responded to our initial enquiries quickly, answered any questions we had, and was very helpful in providing information and suggestions to help us prepare for our trip.
Our driver, Rachid was so good, and considerate of our needs. My friend is 94, and I'm no spring chicken, so we needed to find places to rest occasionally, and Rachid always provided. He was also a wealth of information about many aspects of life in Morocco, and happily answered any questions we had, so the drives from place to place were interesting and entertaining.
The riads we stayed at were great, especially our favourite, the Riad Myra in Fes. And we really enjoyed our trip to the Sahara, including the camel ride.
The food was good, and plentiful. And the people we met, including local guides, staff in the riads, were friendly and helpful. And pretty much everyone spoke better English than I did Arabic.
All and all it was a great experience, one I'd love to do again. I would, and have already, recommended Morocco Tours to anyone considering going.

Morocco tour

We arrived at the Tangier airport on October 26, 2022. Our driver, Tarik, was there to meet us. He was very friendly and so helpful. He carried our bags to our vehicle and we were off to our first stop. Our itinerary included: Tangier, Chefchaouen, Volubilis, Meknes, Fes, Middle Atlas Mountains, Erfoud., Rissani, Sahara Desert (a camel ride and a night in a Berber tent-yeah!), Todra Gorges, Skoura, Ouarzazate, High Atlas Mountains, Marrakech, Casablanca, Rabat.

During our 12 days in Morocco, Tarik was always there to help us and answer any questions. We exchanged mobile phone information on Whats App so we could communicate easily at any time. We needed several bathroom stops along the way and he knew where the clean restrooms were and nice places to have lunch. Tarik was always pleasant, upbeat, helpful, and on-time for every day of our trip. His command of English was very good, and he was always concerned for our safety and comfort. Tarik became more than our guide, he became our friend. We always knew he had our best interests in mind.

In addition to all these wonderful characteristics, Tarik is an extraordinary driver! He was able to maneuver our 7 passenger Mercedes van through some of the most congested traffic either of us had ever seen! Traffic consisted of cars, PEOPLE walking everywhere, “dreaded” scooters and mopeds weaving all over, sometimes donkeys with carts, tiny vehicles such as tuk-tuks, and traffic “rules” where staying in designated lanes seems to be only a suggestion! He managed all this without having an accident or fender bender. We are grateful that we didn't have to drive, as we would have been a nervous wreck at the end of the day.

Thanks to Tarik, our 12 days in Morocco were very memorable. We miss him already!

One suggestion, if you have the time, is to try to arrange your itinerary with 2 nights in each stop/location. We felt the pace was a bit much, having to pack up and move from the riads/hotels after just one night. Sometimes we did not arrive until early evening and couldn't enjoy some of the wonderful amenities at some of the properties (pool, spa, gardens, scenery, etc.). We typically needed to leave the next morning right after breakfast, so were unable to completely take it all in. Even those stops with 2 nights were filled with extensive local guided tours which ended up being nearly all day. Some down time would have been welcomed. If you can't take the extra time (days), consider limiting the number of stops/locations to allow at least a 2-night stay in each. Just our two cents input. I know we were compelled to “see as much as we could” (there is definitely so much to see), but sometimes quality is better than quantity.

We'd recommend Morocco Tours/Experience It Tours. We have traveled to many places over the past 30+ years, typically all self-arranged and independently toured. In fact we spent 14 days in several parts of Spain prior to our arrival in Morocco- all done on our own. However, I determined with language, cultural, and logistical challenges, the best option was to hire professionals to coordinate and guide us for efficiency, security, and a worry -free experience. We feel we made the best choice for sure!

Our experience with Morocco Tours more than exceeded our expectations. Our journey got off to a rocky start with our airline cancelling our flight and causing us to arrive in Casablanca a day after our tour was supposed to start. But Jeff and his staff quickly responded, put our minds at ease, adjusted their schedule and were there to greet us at the airport on our arrival. Our guide, Rashid, was a gem, knowledgeable, personable, and an amazingly skilled driver who expertly navigated everything from the winding mountain roads to the insane traffic-choked
streets of Marrakesh. All the accommodations were top-notch, the Lina Ryad in Chefchaouen and the Riad Myra in Fes being our favorites. Among our best memories were the peaceful beauty of the Sahara camp at sunset and the day in Fes-- a cooking class and a tour of the Medina with a great guide who kept us entertained with his personal stories of being a kid growing up in the old city. This was our second trip to North Africa and by far the most memorable.

We had a wonderful time in Morocco. From start to finish, from our initial contact and trip planning to being dropped at the Casablanca airport, you were always responsive. The clear itinerary and other material you furnished helped us prepare for the trip and helped us throughout the tour.

Our itinerary was perfect for us, well paced and picking up all the top sights. We particularly enjoyed our cooking class in Fes and visiting the dunes in the desert.

We were quite pleased with our riads and hotel. They were luxurious and comfortable and all the staff were welcoming and friendly. We particularly loved La Maison Arabe in Marrakech.

Our driver, Hassani, really made our visit smooth and worry free; he made everything seamless. By sharing his extensive knowledge of the country and the culture, he added enormously to our understanding throughout the tour. In addition we had wonderful guides throughout our tour.

We had a wonderful trip to Morocco.
Our Guide Farid was excellent. He was very knowledgeable, funny, entertaining, very patient and always smiling. We all felt very safe and secure with him, especially in the medina/market visits. We could not have asked for a better guide. A thorough gentleman who was very protective of the group.
Airport pickup and drop offs were smooth and easy.
Our driver was good.
Riad Myra in Fes and Ksar El Kabbaba were excellent.
All the Hotels, rooms, dinners at local restaurants were very good.
The Saharan desert experience was fantastic- we loved the camel ride and overnight camp at the Madu Camp which was beautiful and luxurious. Food and service were great.
All the tours were good especially tile/pottery place in FES and Ait Ben Haddou.
We had problems at Riad Chergui because of the manager who was rude and discourteous. However, our guide and our Morocco tours agent got involved and resolved the problem.

Morocco tours provided us with a comfortable bus and we were thankful for the constant supply of bottled water.
Morocco tours company service was very professional, thorough and supportive from start of conversation to the end of the trip. Our group of 9 ladies was very pleased and satisfied. I would recommend Morocco Tours to anyone traveling to Morocco

We had a fabulous time in Morocco! So many sites to see and places to experience! I had some preconceived thoughts about Morocco from movies and books, but the country and the people just enchanted us! Overall a fantastic time in Morocco!

We now consider Rachid, our guide and driver to be a friend and will always cherish our time with him. We learned so much about the people of Morocco, local foods (I asked him to take us to places that locals eat at, and he delivered! Zaaa Zaaaa 😂😂, but the roadside bbq’s yum!! Our favorite experience and food! ), the Muslim faith, how families and society are structured, the historical sites like the Kasbahs, date palms, water wells, HAMMAMS, and the beautiful Atlas Mountains. Long van rides, lots of miles, but interesting conversations along the way with Rachid. He is very flexible and always willing to go the extra mile to value our time. I get fatigued in the afternoon, so he always made sure we were back at our Riad by 3:00 ish for a shower and rest before the evening activities. That helped my comfort a lot!! You ask him…he delivers…He was always thinking about our comfort and safety above all else.

Local guides were great. Humorous, knowledgeable about their town and made sure we saw the highlights. Of course they had to take us to the places that offer sales of merchandise, which was amusing and interesting, but we loved the small vendors the most and enjoyed bartering with them. Smiles and laughter all of the time!

We can’t thank you enough for your customer service. I made the initial inquiry and literally 10 minutes later received a response from Jeff about the opportunities on offer in Morocco. From the first email, to the extensive informational packet arrival three weeks before our trip start, it was smooth, friendly and helpful. Everything went as planned in Morocco and we didn’t have a worry from the moment we met our airport driver in Casablanca. We would definitely recommend Morocco Tours to our friends and family and in fact have already shared our trip with hundreds on Facebook.

My wife has wanted to travel to Morocco for many years, and since I research and plan our vacations it was left up to me. I didn't know where to start as neither of us had been anywhere in Africa. Luckily, a simple good search found a few tour companies that offered what we were looking for. After reading a lot of positive reviews from Morocco Tours I contacted them with our travel goals.

I was instantly impressed with how responsive and helpful Jeff was. The planning was made very easy with just some things my wife and I wanted to add in.

The entire vacation was wonderfully executed with Ali as our driver. We found all the activities and tours to be engaging and interesting.

Some of the highlights for us included the Sahara experience, exploring and shopping in the medinas, the hammam, and all the delicious food.

I would absolutely recommend Morocco Tours for anyone looking to travel to Morocco. It's worth the money to have such a great team planning and executing the trip.

Our luggage was lost by our airline and Morocco Tours even helped call every day and track down our bags! They are a great team.

My daughter and I traveled to Morocco and had the most amazing time. The cities we visited were absolutely beautiful. We were able to immerse ourselves in the culture which is something I love to do when I travel. Our driver Rachid, was totally awesome ! He was kind, knowledgeable, friendly and very protective of us. We felt very safe the entire time. Jeff and his team are well organized and planned a very nice itinerary for us.

Our group of seven women toured with Morocco Tours and Experience It Tours from May 6 to May 13, 2022. Our guide was Ali Alami and our driver was Abdul. The two of them made a wonderful team.

It was a fabulous tour, and I cannot recommend the company and Ali enough. Ali was a wonderful guide and showed us the real Morocco. He was knowledgeable, kind, thoughtful, funny, philosophical and dealt immediately with any issue that arose. He even gave us each a welcoming packet filed with an assortment of wonderful gifts, including Moroccan money and a CD of Moroccan music. Ali made sure that we were comfortable at all times and anticipated any needs we might have. He also knew when something was important to us. An example of this is when we visited a preschool in the medina in Fez and I mentioned my daughter had a preschool back home. He made sure I had a picture with the teacher and students. All seven of us agree that we could not have been more pleased with Ali as our guide.

Some highlights of the trip were the medina in Fez, the "blue" city of Chefchaouen, and a nightcap in Casablanca at Rick's Cafe. And, finally Ali always wore a traditional Jalabiya each day.

We also appreciated staying in the Riads. It was a perfect way to help us assimilate to the culture of Morocco. The Riad at Chefchaouen was not our favorite (Dar Meziana), but we loved Dar D'Or Fes and Riad Karmela. Truly a delight to experience Moroccan hospitality and the wonderful food that was served. We felt we were able to experience the culture of Morocco.

Our driver, Abdul, was always cheerful and helpful. He did a wonderful job of driving us around Morocco and helping us with our luggage..

Finally, I am sure I speak for my travel companions when I say we would recommend your company without hesitation. We had an amazing experience. We were able to feel comfortable and safe in a country so different from our own with Morocco Tours. Thank you for putting together such a great tour.

We used Morocco Tours for our Honeymoon and it was the best experience! We learned so much about the culture and we got to try a lot of delicious Moroccan food! The highlight of our trip was staying overnight in the Sahara Desert. We had so much fun riding camels and playing instruments by the firepit. Stargazing was absolutely breathtaking. We also really enjoyed the cooking class in Marrakech- super fun and interactive! Our driver, Ryad, was very kind and responsive. He speaks English very well and takes his time to show you things and explains the history behind them. He is very reliable and made us feel safe the entire trip!

Fantastic experience all around. Will come back next year.

Experience It Tours set up a wonderful trip with great planning. We appreciated the responsiveness and the seamless way the itinerary worked. The whole travelling experience of 15 nights through Morocco for our party of four was marvelous, even for some who may have had initial doubts!! The riad accommodation in each of the cities, and of course the desert, were fantastic. The food was glorious and the hospitality was warm and genuine (except for pesky vendors trying to sell everything from pencils to live animals) but that was also part of the experience.
The glue that made it all work is largely due to Ryad, our fantastic driver, teacher, diplomat, advisor and porter. Always on time. Always ready with suggestions. We had the benefit of his knowledge on culture, history, many attempts at pronunciation, the economy and even politics. We would recommend Ryad to any prospective traveler.
We experienced all of the usual tourist sights, sounds and smells which were great. They exceeded our expectations. We loved the contrast between the 'green' Morocco and the 'brown' Morocco, and the contrast between the lifestyles of the locals, such as the many donkeys transporting people and goods along the roads juxtaposed against a passing Maserati.
We also experienced some of the off-the-tourist path sights as well including the troglodite village of Bahlil and the invitation to share tea with a local family.
At all of our stops and even among the souks in Marrakesh that we visited by night and day, the three women in our party felt safe and relaxed.
We found that having a professional guide in each of the main cities was very useful. We got so much more from the meanderings in the cities than we would have gleaned doing it ourselves.
It was hard to pick out just one highlight. However, by consensus the night in the desert tents and the camel ride at sunset was hard to beat.
We had such a great time that the 15 nights were not quite enough. (Although I think that I have had enough Moroccan tea for a while). I guess that leaves scope for another trip.

The trip was really wonderful. Bethany at Morocco Tours did a super job of putting together this itinerary for us. She suggested staying in some Riad’s and she was right. We loved the mix of lovely hotels and Riad’s also.

Our driver, Ilyass was there to pick us up and delivered us from hotels to Riad’s and was a safe driver getting us everywhere. Frankly, we were amazed at his driving skills and how he was able to accomplish this feat!!!
Ilyass did a great job of showing us his country and finding the best places to stop for food (amazing food!!) pictures, and anything else we wanted. His enthusiasm was infectious and we would highly recommend him to anyone.

The culture is so different from the USA. We really didn’t know what to expect. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Of course, Ilyass and also the Morocco Tours literature told us not to make eye contact or speak to people as they would request money if we were to engage in conversations. Being American’s, we are not rude and did this a few times and yes, gave out some coins and paper money too. My husband found this true when he thought he knew his way back from a hotel in the medina and was lost for an hour and 10 minutes! He said he wasn’t afraid as people were friendly but had to give out more money than he wanted to but he learned his lesson to stay with us and not find his own way home! No one tried to rob or hurt him and we are grateful for that too. These alley ways, 900 of them, can make anyone lost!

We enjoyed all of our guides. Very knowledgeable and good.

We felt that the Polars Du Tresor 3 Fes did not hold up to their name. We bought 2 rugs and the fringe was not properly finished. I felt they took advantage of us and we should have examined the rugs more closely but then again, we trusted them. Not so.

The Sofitel in Marrakech was great for New Years eve and fun too. We felt a little underdressed, but had a great time!

We loved Esssaquira and would have liked to stay more than one night! Ilyass took us to one of the finest seafood restaurants and it was marvelous! We loved it and also the hotel there was beautiful.

Great fun show with belly dancers and such. Also the horse show….loved all of it.

All in all, a very memorable trip and one of our top 5 for sure!

I can't say enough about the incredible experience we had with Experience Morocco Tours. Right from the beginning, as I planned the trip with Radia, I could tell she understood what I wanted and sent me an incredible 40 page overview of what we would do and witness. We were never disappointed. We were met at the Casablanca airport with a wonderful smile from our Guide Miloud (Sha-Sha) and could tell right away that our driver Ahmed (Muhammad) would take every safe precaution for the 3 hour drive to Fez that concluded in Marrakesh. We stayed in the most beautiful Riad's, visited Palaces, Mosque, walked the colorful alleys of the market place to see how the people live, ate at yummy restaurants, spent a night on the Sahara Desert, visited the Atlas mountains (as beautiful as the Grand Canyon). Every smell, every color, every greeting was filled with the wonderful energy of the people and this land. I keep remembering the bright colors of yellow, red and blue, and each city has its taxi painted in a different color. We saw several of the 650 nomads with their families and their sheep. I took a cooking class, had the most wonderful steam bath and massage, ate escargot, walked the site where the movie "Gladiator" was filmed, took in the majestic mountains and land, and yes did a little shopping. The tannery was a blast, drinking mint tea, laughing and understanding the process of making a leather coat. Spending the night on the Sahara, riding on the red sand of the desert, watching the sunset and finding in a tent with a shower and toilet, treated to a delicious meal, singing and watching the stars, and then listening to the quiet of the night was the most memorable experience. We were given a mobile phone to insure being connected at all times and I felt totally safe and so well cared for in every moment. It was just a glorious, marvelous experience. I have some 1,000+ pictures that I keep looking at to remind me of how fortunate we were to be connected with such excellent service of Experience Morocco. If you are wanting to go to this beautiful part of the world, look no further. You will be in such good hands. Deep gratitude to the entire team and to you Radia. After being with the two of you Sha-Sha and Muhmmed for 9 days, John and I miss you! You made our vacation an experience we will never forget!

From the start to the finish, we were very happy with how well taken care of and how organized and seamless the transitions from one day to the next were. The itinerary that our agent, Bethany, helped us arrange based on our preferences worked out perfectly. We felt that we had a nice mixture of the cities and countrysides of Morocco. From the breathtaking mosque in Casablanca to Chefchaouen to the Sahara desert to the snow-capped Atlas Mountains to the medina of Marrakech, we got a small taste of what this amazing country has to offer.

Our lodgings and meals were all fantastic! If possible, please request our amazing driver and guide, Adil Fezzaz. Our vehicle was comfortable, clean, and fully stocked with bottled water each day. Adil was very personable, prompt, and knowledgable about the history of Morocco. He enjoyed sharing with us the culture and customs of the Moroccan people along with teaching us some Arabic phrases. His sense of humor made us smile and laugh every minute of our trip! By the end, he felt like family. Our only regret is that we did not have more time there!

The accomodations were wonderful, a mix of riads and boutique hotels with great staff and guides. Our driver was great, and details were all taken care of. They were also there to help when we had a health issue and a change of itinerary. All in all an excellent agency to work with. I would highly recommend!

Morocco Tours is AMAZING. Professional. Communicative. Responsive. Flexible. Accommodating. Experts. Excellent. I cannot say enough about how outstanding their services are. I threw them a bit of a wrench when I started planning 2 years ago for a trip to Morocco with 19 guests - they admitted that typically they plan tours for much smaller groups. But they took on the challenge like true champs! Their Operations and Finance teams immediately sprung into action and made everything work out seamlessly. Our tour coordinators we fabulous at customizing the tour considering special requests I made and accommodating the special needs of some of my guests on the tour. And the actual in-country experience? OMG!!! They made shuffling 20 folks on a 10 day tour seem like a complete piece of cake! Bus departures, hotel/riad check-ins, selected restaurants, sights and scenes, schedule adjustments - I mean, they made everything SO EASY!!! Just AMAZING!! Our tour guide & driver really made the trip for us! Their expert handling of our group, informative/educational explanations of things & places we were experiencing took the trip to a whole other level! Short answer? The only way to see Morocco is through Morocco Tours. Super, special thanks to Kit, Bethany, Amy, Joe, Ali and Adil! What an experience of a lifetime!!!! Worth every single penny and then some!!!!!

I was extremely pleased with the service provided to us by Experience It! Morocco tours. Our driver was very professional and willing to accommodate us in every way. The Riad Fes was spectacular in service and appointments. I liked that we were able to select our dinner venues even though they were covered in our travel package. The Maison La Arabe was a bit of a disappointment. Although the property was lovely, the service staff left a little to be desired. The restaurant staff was very indifferent for our dinner the first night and breakfast. The suite was nicely appointed but very chopped up. It was at the top of a circular, two and a half flight of stairs that were very difficult to negotiate. The company offered to move us to a different hotel of our choice but for one more night we decided against moving. Had we had more than one night left in the hotel, we would have availed ourselves of their offer. Our guide in Fes was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and was willing to give us time we wanted to shop and sightsee. The guide in in Marrakech seemed knowledgeable but seemed very “programmed”. He never made eye contact and seemed to want to rush us. Our tour in Marrakech was on Friday and the prayer schedule seemed to be an issue so perhaps that affected his presentation. We did enjoy the Medina tour and were able to hit all the high points.

All in all, the company went out of their way to make our Morocco experience a good one. I would certainly recommend them to anyone.
