Saw a dress I absolutely loved, so I impulse bought it, but read the terms and conditions afterwards, which stated no refunds, and to expect import duties!
After a week from the order, I received no update to where the dress was, but once I reached out, they responded in good time to let me know the dress was on pre-order.
A few days after that, I received a nearly £90 charge in import duties. Seeing as I couldn't return the dress anyway, I paid it and they had very sweetly written a note saying sorry for the delay.
The dress is lovely, and I will definitely buy from there again, if I find something else I think is worth the stupidly high carriage charge.

I returned an item 10 months ago . It was tracked, they have received it. In this time they have sent 1 email after 6 months and still nothing . They still have my returned item and still have not responded to the process. APPALLING customer service for such costly items They DO NOT respond to any communications . DO NOT BUY from them if you are unsure and want to exchange or return for a credit

Such pretty clothes and terrible service. They don’t answer emails 🙁 but they send the orders so it’s strange. Cannot organise an exchange - better love the clothes as they’re yours forever.

I recently ordered from their sale, I wish i wasn’t. I bought 2 items which totaled £190 and in the checkout it showed £22 delivery which is high but it was clear and i paid it.
After 4 days I receive a sms from dhl asking for £83.90 for £190 worth of order, out of which £47 is vat, £11 is something called risk charge.
And the rest is import duty.
First of all, there were no implication that 44% additional cost might be incurred,
Secondly, I buy frequently from AU companies and the import cost is included most of time and other times is 20% of the purchase value.
Third, they do not answer customer service email.

I noticed in their website the small print they also ask for a restocking fee of 30 gbp. So if I continue to buy i need to pay 84 pounds if I don’t, i lose 52 pounds on items i never even got to see.

Horrible experience, save yourself the hassle and don’t buy from Morton Mac.
