Stainless steel gas strut I ordered was great. Specification and delivery were superb. I was concerned about the tension adjustment but just carefully followed the instructions supplied and it was easy to get the pressure just right. Now got the strut in place and working perfectly. Thanks Metrol

I broke a gas strut on my rock and roll bed, not being technically minded, I took a picture and sent it to customer services. Immediate response could not have been more helpful in identifying a suitable replacement (thanks Ryan). The strut arrived the next day and the camper was up and running. Excellent service all round.

It is a good product, does what it is designed for. Only problem we had was no instructions for its set up was included so had to call the company for support as we have never fitted these before . A short video on their web site demonstrating the set up would have been a big help.

I purchased some inline ball joint ends, very small items and paid £7 for next day shipping, which was more expensive than the actual item and ordered well within their cut off time and they took 2 days to arrive and not by DPD that was selected but by DX. Had to call them to find out why they hadn't arrived as initially no tracking number received. Items ok, over charged for shipping and didn't get the service paid for.

I would highly recommend using Metrol it was so easy to get the correct gas struts using the online tool where all I had to do was put in my measurements and the sales advisor worked everything that was needed including correct struts & fittings. Plus they included a drawing of the measurements as to where to fit the struts, it made it easy for a novice that hadn’t fitted gas struts before

All items came quickly and prompt, the struts are very good quality, used this company for years when we require gas struts for particular jobs. The Variable struts give us the flexibility to set the assisted pressure we require for the hatches we fit them to.

I ordered hinges and was sent a date they arrived 5 days late.i spoke to one of your guys as I couldn't see how they worked.i ended up driving 100 miles round trip to your factory and was told I had wrong hinges in the box .then waited 2 weeks for new ones fitted them and they only took door halfway in to cupboard .so sent back for bigger hinges and recieved new hinges but the silver closers were wrong again after a second trip to you I got sent another new set and was told I would get £80 .which is 50%back as a sorry.i still ain't recieved that.so after 2 wasted trips to you and buying the hinges I'm about £600 down .so can't offer much of a review

I have worked for Metrol for a number of years and this new E-Commerce platform has helped us internally, as well as customers, to find the correct products with the great amount of information available. Coupled with the live stock system, this helps customers save time not having to contact us directly!
