I recently acquired my 2024 Mazda 3 Homura through motor point, while they were very quick and streamline to arrange stuff, the experience wasn't the best, i looked at 7 Mazda 3s at several motor points before finding one that was decent condition, a lot of them had scuffs, scratches, ( one even had a giant gouge in the paint down to the metal which the Manager of the Stockton tees branch tried to say was normal!!, these are under 1 year old cars in sub par condition, which is abit disappointing, as i had to travel an hour to Stockton, 2.5 to Widnes, & 3 to Birmingham, they're quick to take your money but if you ask anything like photos of the car outside the ad they apparently are too busy!, every branch i went to there was 5-7 staff members standing about chatting so i highly doubt that!,

one of my pet peeves as well is they don't allow outside financing, forcing you to take a higher interest rate loan, instead of a lower interest rate one from the bank or a credit union, which i think is abit predatory,

overall its two stars, the staff were friendly enough but apart from that it was a sub par experience

From beginning to end to end everything was perfect choice of cars available, friendly, helpful staff,test drive taken, whole purchase system was simple, easy to follow, everything explained fully.
So easy, a pleasant experience thank you.

Title: Misleading Warranty – Beware Before Buying

I bought a Vauxhall Grandland from Motorpoint in October 2023 and paid extra for an extended warranty they recommended.

Unfortunately, I was not given any copy or proof of the warranty, and the terms were not clearly explained. When a mechanical fault occurred, my claim was rejected because the garages I used were not VAT registered, despite proper servicing.

Communication with Motorpoint and Defend Insurance was unhelpful, leaving me without the protection I paid for.

I hope Motorpoint improves transparency and documentation for warranties to prevent misleading customers in the future.

Great customer service. No hard sell, just great advice when requested.

Process was very quick and easy.

Getting your own online portal made it very easy to see what was happening with your purchase.

Great range of cars to choose from with a budget for everyone. Much better deals and pricing than the main dealers I visited were offering.

So many choices of vehicles under one roof, great prices and great staff, No bells and whistles when doing the deal if you don’t want paint protection/alloy wheel/extended warranty you are not pushed into it a very different car buying experience for us and we purchased a fantastic looking 3 year old car which looks like new. Very happy with the service received.

From the moment i walked in the showroom i was greeted with a smile and professionalism. I was asked which vehicle to i was interested in, and left alone with no pressure to view the said vehicle.
Once I had made a decision i was looked after from then on by Shane at the Stockton branch, who gave me an excellent part exchange and gave me an awe-inspiring level of customer service.

Second time I've bought from this company. No hard sell or BS from the sales persons. Online comparisons made between the vehicles I was interested in, all out in the open. Friendly, polite and professional both times.

Turned up with the intention to view a car - ended up driving away in it 2 hours later! Geoff was a great help from start to finish - gave me all the information I needed, and talked me through the whole process. He was incredibly friendly, and all round made the experience so easy. It was my first time buying a more expensive car, but he made it feel a breeze! Handled my part exchange very well, took the time to show me reasons why it had been marked up/down. Kindly rang me the day after to make sure I’d got home okay and was happy with the car - very grateful for his service!

Sadly if you buy a car from Stockton branch , check the mileage as the staff like to use your paid for vehicle for their own pleasure. Unfortunately the salesmen also like to pre tax a vehicle when you didn’t purchase it until a month later. Makes no sense whatsoever, didn’t collect my vehicle for 6 plus weeks and it was taxed to me a 7 weeks before I drove it off site. Won’t use again and wouldn’t recommend sadly.

The whole buying process was easier than trying to choose something on Netflix (which says a lot). The staff were friendly, helpful, and didn’t try to sell me anything ridiculous like “premium air” for the tyres. They answered all my questions—even the ones I’m pretty sure were stupid—and made the whole experience pleasantly painless.

Drove home feeling like an absolute boss. Car is perfect, wallet is intact, and my neighbours are now jealous. 10/10 would absolutely buy from Motorpoint again.

I can’t fault the service received by motorpoint! Raees was very helpful and assisted with my purchase. Having bought cars from other well known dealerships and having bad experiences, Motorpoint were amazing and I would not buy a car from anywhere else.

The car salesman was great.shane took the time to go through what i was looking for.i had seen a car online and liked another in the showroom.he was able to tell me what the differences were.i had a private plate on my car i was trading in.if they had been able to change them over for me i would of given 5*.i loved the personal touch with the video after i had picked me new car up.i would recommend this company.
