The staff were curtious and professional, we dealt with Alex. The buying process didn't feel rushed. We knew the brand and model of car we were after and when we rang and booked the test drive the person we spoke to ran through the various extras available, there was no pressure to purchase them. The car was well presented. I have now had the car 3 weeks and am delighted with it.

First encounter was helpful and polite but as soon as i put a deposit down seemed to be shipped around. Turned up for my car that was orginally scheduled for pickup on saturday. To be told it changed to a monday when arrived on saturday.
I was then told i had to wait till post office was open to tax the vehicle.
Upon viewing my new car i implied that the tyres were below 2mm and i wanted them changed, considering i was spending a lot of money on the car, i didnt want to have to change the tyres in a few weeks time. Not one member of staff came to check just told me theres nothing they could do, including the manager. However to their knowledge, i had a tool to measure the tyres myself as there recommendation is 2.5mm. It wasnt until i was met on monday by Lucas Nova for collection of my car. Hes a credit to motorpoint and nothing was too much as a sales rep. He listened to my concerns about the tyres and measured them. He then over looked the car and found a fault with the registration plate being faulty too! I recommend Lucas to everyone when shopping for a car at motorpoint swansea, he seemed to be the only one who liked his job and was more than helpful! Other than him i wouldnt have been happy with the service provided!

No pressure from sales. Good price on new car and decent trade in price. Tristan looked after us well and everything was explained clearly. Would have been 5 stars if car had been charged (PHEV). Overall a good experience.

Really poor experience. I spoke to 2 separate people ahead of making a long journey to view a car after being told if I paid £199 to have it moved closer it wouldn’t be refunded if I didn’t want the car and it wouldn’t come off the price of the car if I bought it.

I asked if the car was damaged enough that if I came to see it I would be unhappy. I was told no there wasn’t any damage to that level and it was in line with their quality promise.

I made a 3 hour journey to find a large scratch on the front bumper which required paint touch ups and significant damage to the centre console. The salesman told me it was unfortunate but nothing they could do to put it right and unable to budge in the price to compensate.

I had some time to think on the decision and ultimately chose to buy the car as I could do my own diy to cover most of the damage. As I took time to think I missed my slot so had to wait further for the salesman to be available.

When they were free i felt rushed through the sales process, no test drive option was given and when they gave me the keys they didn’t shake my hand and walked away.

I received a cleaning kit as an apology.

Overall a very poor experience which really took the shine off getting a new car and I have since spent a couple of days covering scratches, damage and vinyl wrapping the centre console to cover the damage, at my own time and expense.

Not what you expect when purchasing a £19k car!

Not pressured, had great choice of stock from around the country. Nice premises with friendly , knowledgeable staff.

I was taken care of as soon as I entered by professional caring staff who were very helpful and patient with me and provided me with everything I wanted to know and put me at ease by not rushing me with and offered advice throughout.I would recommend motorpoint to everyone also of course their cars are exceptional.

Ross Thomas - the sales executive who we dealt with on two separate purchases over a three week period was a credit to your organisation - and in our experience of purchasing cars over the past decade was a breath of fresh air - he did his job for your company professionally but also showed an interest in making sure we were informed of everything we needed to know as changing cars and private plate can be a stressful business.

They overall sale was ok , but parts missing , 3 advisories on last MOT asked for money off but no movement,I was told car would be given a good clean but interior was obviously not done .

The staff we dealt with were very friendly and fair.

Went to Swansea on 10th August to buy a Dacia Sandero Stepway at £11,449. They inspected my Vauxhall Astra and gave a firm £1,000 part-exchange valuation, which I accepted. I was told to pay the remaining £10,449 in full and did so.
Just before they handed over the keys, they suddenly cut the part-exchange to £350 and demanded another £650. Staff were disrespectful and unprofessional throughout.

Agreed price after inspection, paid in full, then changed at the last minute!

UPDATE: In response to your reply -
After the first appraisal I paid in full, signed everything and received an invoice showing a zero balance. Staff confirmed the sale was complete and the car was marked as sold on your website.
Just two hours later, when I came to collect the keys, you drove my part-exchange car for the first time (it hadn’t even been test-driven during the first appraisal!). You then claimed the condition had changed in those two hours, decided you no longer liked the price you’d given me, and demanded £650 back.
Under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 the sale was already complete, so you had no right to ask for more money. Instead I was called a liar and pressured by being given ten minutes to pay up or the police would be called and I’d be removed from the premises.

The customer service was excellent

I was very skeptical about visiting Motorpoint as I have previously been in the motor trade my self at main dealers. Both Ford & VW.
I had found a Golf in Peterborough which was very well priced.
Did on line valuation and it seemed fair, and was far higher than WBAC.
On day of visit was greeted by Jodie Poland at branch.Very positive & polite.
She examined my px and to my amazement offered more for the car than their online quote even though all four alloys required refurbishment.
Paid £199 to transfer the Golf from Peterborough, 2 days later.
I spotted an identical Golf in Leeds with higher miles, yet was £3000 cheaper, so returned to branch to enquire on it. Went ahead with it.
Again I was fully & totally prepared to pay an additional £199 as it was me who had changed my mind but this was waived.
Very happy indeed with this.
Day of collection viewed car I only found one stone chip, it was in immaculate condition for a 3 year old car.
I would highly recommend Motorpoint & Jodie and use again.
