MOV8 Real Estate Reviews 

We were unfortunate to have one of the worst experience with this solicitor firm. We were given a trainee who had limited experience. Our move was delayed just before Christmas with less than 24hours notice and it took them 6 weeks to agree a new date. We were told that it was because someone in the chain had gone on holiday which seems implausible. Things were such last minute they didn’t send standard observations till 4weeks in to the 8 week lead time which led to them chasing things right till the last minute. Then 1 week prior to our new move date we found our mortgage had lapsed as the solicitor had not actioned something they should have. We had to get a new deal in less than 24hours. We complained and to date have no answers to any of the issues. It was escalated to a senior manager Mr Gordon who said he would provide a response in ten working days. Here we are 6 weeks later and multiple chasers and he has not responded. We have taken it directly to the SLCC. It’s been a horrendous time and the firm were nothing short of shocking. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Also for anyone who sees their response saying they are unaware of any complaints this is not true. We have taken to the SLCC and they have also failed to respond so it is going to be investigated as a breach of standards. This is now 6 months later. They can quite clearly see my name and surely know what complaints they have open with the SLCC. If they don’t this shows how disorganised they are. I won’t be engaging with them directly any further as they had months of opportunity to do so.

MOV8 always gave me the impression they were in control. And based on my experience and successful purchase - I knew they were. Great communication throughout! I am very happy I choose them and would highly recommend.

This solicitor came to my rescue at the very last minute, and when I say last minute, I had 3 hours to put an offer in on an apartment and we went through our paperwork and offer submitted within two hours. Not an everyday situation for sure, but this team went above and beyond, especially for a new client. Very grateful for your assistance and hopefully completing this transaction!

We dealt with several members of staff in particular Rachael Cassidy, Mairi Rasuli. They were with us throughout selling our house and buying a new build. Others staff members who helped along the way were equally professional every step of the way.
Communication was vital during this process and they kept us fully informed throughout and even when asked, they explained things in detail. I would not hesitate to recommend MOV8 as they would be my first choice if I need a solicitor any time in the future.

Rachael Cassidy handled my sale and she was fantastic. Always on hand to respond to any questions. We did have a hold up, but this was due to the buyers solicitors.. also Move8.. but I was lucky and got a good one.

I cannot recommend the team at MOV8 and especially Alan Craig highly enough. They were there each step of the way for my property sale and new build purchase.
There were bumps on the road but all dealt with efficiently. Even working on Sundays to keep me up to date with progress. It will be a while before I move again but certainly MOV8 would be my solictors of choice. THANK YOU

I would highly recommend Mov8 and especially Alan that was overseeing my case. He was very helpful and navigated through quite a complex buy making progress as quick as possible. From start to finish the sale of our house was very smooth with very little for us to do. The estate agent completed the sake very quickly 🙂 even getting the lawyer involved, thank you for everything yous done for us as it was also a difficult time due to my mother in-law passing away at the same time. I had a great experience from start to finish. They kept us in the loop with anything and we’re happy to take our calls and explain some things we didn’t understand. When we went to the office to sign paperwork again the staff were happy to explain how the process would work also there is a lovely cafe and a sweet little dog at reception, we would definitely recommend them and ourselves would use them again in the future.

Mov8 helped me sell and move into a new build property. They were very professional, helpful, transparent and easy to get a hold off. With the stress of a house move, getting a hold of the team is the last thing you wanted to worry about and Mov8 were excellent at getting back to me and answering my questions. They did a great job working with my buyers solicitor to get the deal done in time. This is all done at a competitive rate as I did have quotes elsewhere. It was my first time using Mov8 and I thought I was taking a risk but I am happy that I did!

Really easy to liaise with and Tracy provided us with such a great service to help us buy our new home via part exchange. She was so professional and friendly, ensuring we were up to date with everything throughout the whole process.
