Cancelled my free trial on time and they still charged. Also the PA & DA data is not accurate at all. Ahrefs shows very different (but accurate) data!!

Five years. It has now been five years since I completely overhauled my website: I removed dozens of pages, disavowed hundreds of toxic backlinks, and migrated the entire project to a static architecture. A colossal undertaking, carried out meticulously and strictly in accordance with Moz’s own recommendations.
The result? My Spam Score remains stuck at 56, exactly as it was on day one. Not a single point of improvement. Nothing.

What is even more troubling is that Moz continues to display pages that were deleted years ago, as if their system had never revisited my site. How can a tool supposedly designed to assess a site’s quality operate on data that is so outdated and demonstrably inaccurate?
I contacted their support team: one generic reply about their quality guidelines, and then nothing. Complete silence. No transparency, no explanation, no meaningful update.

Meanwhile, their obsolete and entirely disconnected score continues to undermine my partnerships and damage my business.

At this stage, the question must be asked: what is the purpose of Moz if its data fails to reflect the work carried out or the actual state of a website? How can one claim to evaluate a domain’s “trustworthiness” using information that has been outdated for years?

A tool that does not update its data, ignores corrections, fails to respond to its users, and maintains an unjustified score for more than five years cannot be considered reliable.

Today, I regard Moz’s Spam Score as entirely lacking credibility. And it is deeply problematic that such a poorly maintained indicator can have real consequences for professional projects.

I have subscribed to MOZ for over 10 years - their services are great and support never fails to respond almost immediately. The best SaaS I know. Many thanks.

This is the worst SEO service ever. If you sign up for the trial- THERE IS NO WAY TO CANCEL. They will say it will be deleted in 48 hours and they charge you. Even a month after, when you never used the service, they charge you.

I sent many Cease and Disists and they still charged me.

This is THE WORST COMPANY EVER. I didn't even find the SEO platform to be good.

Beware!!!!! They will not let you cancel the service.

Some features like site audit and Da/Pa analysis is good but because of weak baclink data, it's hard to fully trust on it.

Very poor communication and support. You might get a fifth of what you pay for because there is no support for the other features. Totally disappointed. Can't wait until someone else comes along and knocks them off their high horse.

I signed up for Moz's trial and canceled the subscription after 2 or 3 days, but I was still charged $179. It seems the cancellation process didn’t complete properly—I never received a cancellation confirmation email. When I contacted customer support, they claimed I never canceled and that their policy forbids refunds. Despite my request to review my account activity, they REFUSED to check. After reading other reviews, I’m not the only one facing this issue. Be AWERE before subscribing.

Site works well great price awesome customer service

MOZ actually worked fairly well for a rudimentary listing service. The problem I have is that they renewed my subscription without clearly notifying me. They sent an email stating there will be rate increases, however the emails did not state when my subscription would be renewing. The day I received the bill, I contacted MOZ for a refund, however they are not cooperative to this point. They state that their policy is no refunds. In my mind, this is fraudulent, as they are not informing their customer of the details of a renewal, and in California this is illegal due to the California Automatic Renewal Law.

Seit Wochen wird mir das Anzeigenblatt „Märker“ eingeworfen, obwohl mein Briefkasten eindeutig mit „Keine Zeitung, keine Werbung“ gekennzeichnet ist. Mehrfach habe ich das reklamiert, sogar mit Foto dokumentiert – trotzdem kam am 29.11. schon wieder eine Zeitung, nur zwei Tage nach einer Entschuldigungsmail.

Es ist nicht nachvollziehbar, warum jeder einzelne Mieter seine Adresse separat melden soll, wenn der Vermieter bereits auf Mieterwunsch Briefkästen mit Aufklebern versehen hat die rechtlich eine klare Botschaft an die Zusteller senden. Das zeigt, dass die Zusteller entweder nicht informiert werden oder die Anweisungen schlicht ignorieren.
Für mich bedeutet das: zugemüllter Briefkasten, wichtige Post wie Wahlbenachrichtigungen oder Gehaltsnachweise im Zweifel nicht zugestellt, und ein überfüllter Kasten, der Einbrechern signalisiert „hier ist niemand zu Hause“.

Ich habe den Märker jahrelang digital gelesen und dafür 120 Euro im Jahr bezahlt – den Service habe ich inzwischen gekündigt. Für diesen „Service“ ist mir kein Geld mehr wert.

Moz appears to exploit small businesses through deceptive billing practices, and I strongly advise others to be cautious before signing up. Transparency and customer care should be a priority — unfortunately, that hasn’t been my experience.

I unsubscribed and then they automatically subscribed me. Money taken from visa - unauthorised. BIG SCAM,

Useless and unusable. On top of that, I wasn’t able to find a link to cancel the “free trial” and they charged me in the middle of the night on a Saturday. No way to speak with anyone and put a stop to it. I’ll be contacting my bank about MOZ’s deceptive practices.

Leider hält sich die Moz nicht Absprachen zur Kündigung. Obwohl mit Herrn Vetter alles positiv und im beiderseitigen Interesse geklärt war, widerspricht der Aboservice. Hurra wieder auf Rücken des Kunden ausgetragenen. Hände weg von der Moz Kundenservice gibt es hier nicht.
