Ordered two models and two clamps in late December. Inquired once about status after 7 weeks, get a snarky auto-email (says basically read the fine print and maybe we deleted your email).

Today, I get an email saying both orders were canceled, one marked "can't get item" (probably untrue as the kit is easily had) the other said that I requested cancelation (definitely untrue).

Given how they handle "service," response, stock, and so forth (they were very quick to call me when I originally placed the first order, but ignore any inquiries), I'd say avoid them...or absolute last resort.

MPM Hobbies had exactly what I was looking for when other places didn't or were way overpriced. My order did take 31 days to deliver but I knew the kits were highly sought after and out of stock everywhere...except ebay$$$$!

I would most certainly recommend them to someone who is patient and understands the supply chain revolving around popular items.

I have called, texted, emailed without results
last night someone responded to my text that they would have an answer for me in 15 minutes
We are now 12 hours later - crickets

DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE. It said on their website that cutoff for Christmas delivery would be 12/11. I placed my order on 12/8. I never got a tracking number or a notice that my item was on backorder. I sent an email since they do not answer the phone and I got a BS canned email back.

MESSAGE:
"If you are inquiring about your order please understand that we post *Expect shipment within 14 business days or up to 30 business days for orders not listed as back or pre-orders* on all our product pages, policies, terms and conditions and the cart page.

The reason we do not contact you at regular intervals keeping you up to date about your order is that we simply do not have the manpower, with it being just Pat and I, handling customer service and also we assume you have read about the 14 business days or up to 30 business days and understand that the process is moving slowly.

We do not list products as "In Stock' anywhere on our website. Our terms and conditions, which you agreed to when you checked the block in the cart page, clearly state that we have to order the majority of the products when an order is placed hence why we post the 14 business days or up to 30 business days almost everywhere on the website.

We do keep some items on hand but more than likely, especially on big orders, we had to order your products. This is really the main reason why we have low prices to offset the inconvenience of waiting."

If I had known that they don't keep stock on hand and that they don't let you know about it I never would have ordered from them. The low prices is the inconvenience of waiting? REALLY? That is the most lame excuse I have ever heard and I've heard a lot of excuses. Like I said, I never would've ordered from this place had I known their shady business practices. I am looking into a chargeback.

Placed an order in May 2025. After a month was told they had a printer down and had some delays. I followed up each subsequent month, each time receiving a quick reply, until September. I received a shipping notice September 5th. The tracking number was for DHL. The package was never sent, and DHL confirms they never recieved it. It is now October 22 and MPM has ignored my last three emails. I will be seeking a back charge on my credit card.

I'm not sure what happened to them but they are obviously not in a position to be honest and made no attempt to explain or refund my order.

. No tracking , No email . No texts . No answer . No mailbox Full . No call back . I texted , I emailed . NOTHING . They take the money fast . Website says it might take up to 30 working days in small print . WTF

Unreasonable amount of time to ship purchased items.
If I buy something is because I need it. You have to wait weeks for items they have in stock.
Mom and pop my ass. Inconsiderate=selfish=u-suck

Ordered a model kit from this company and was charged $200 for tickets to a show somewhere and I searched for the address and it's a house. I had to replace my card because of the fraud.
