I wish I could give less than a 1 star rating
Bought a couch that is the worst quality and so small. We have asked for a refund and they have said that they have to find a store to “buy” the couch. It is literally within the 14 day return, we messaged on the day of delivery and they have ignored us and gone quiet. We have tried the app and they routinely close the chat without even talking to us. I phoned their customer support team and got the rudest person who was so unhelpful and unfriendly. I regret buying from them. I wish I could give a lower rating because they don’t even deserve one star.
WEBSITE IS A DISAPPOINTMENT
Very disappointed because the website is very hard to order from now. Each time I select a certain clothing item and then go to change the size, then all of a sudden, the size section shakes violently and then try to click the size I want - after I do I bag it and it says it is the pre-set size.
Mr Price Customer Service and Products subpar
Ok where do I start with my month long journey with Mr Price Home. So order in excess of 15k worth of home furniture. It comes as flat pack comprising cheap chip board that you have to assemble yourself. Firstly the instructions are laughably bad. Secondly the items received are mixed and matched and in my experience arrive damaged. One of the chairs we ordered had an incorrect leg which was replaced within a week so good job with that. However the most expensive item being a table had one of its drawers damaged during transit. We have been back and forth with MRP customer service on WhatsApp and email being promised that firstly it was the couriers fault that it hasn’t arrived yet and then they tell us a few weeks later on follow up that the item is sitting at the pavillion branch waiting to get collected by the courier. So I asked last weeks and this week which courier they are using and what is the tracking number with follow up emails and MRP Customer Services either ignore or refuse to give us these details. Due to the time this is taking I suspect there is some sort of funny business going on here and that we have been deceived by Mr Price. We keep on getting told the replacement has been ordered but they refuse to give us any solid details. I will never order from Mr Price again based on our experience here.

Disappointed and beyond frustrated. During 2019 took out a phone contract and made monthly payment . During 29/07/2021 I requested an outstanding balance and was given an amount of R531.25. On 02/08/2021 I pay an amount of R300 and on 11/08/2024 I pay a further amount of R300. Three years later during November 2024 I was contacted by a law firm regarding my outstanding account. I sent all correspondence (which was also send to Mr Price Mobile Support) as proof that account was paid in full. I made a follow up with Mr Price Mobile Support and to my surprise they told me that I did not request a cancellation. None of their agents ever informed me if I paid my account in full that I must request a cancellation. Mr Price Mobile if this matter is not sorted soon I will make you very famous

I have been a customer of MRP for over 8 years. This January I under paid my account. I understand this is my fault, but my case was referred to attorneys the month after. No phone call, no email. I short paid an R7000 account by R170.
So, I paid up and feeling very disgruntled. I requested an account closer. This process is unlawful I feel. How can you deny a customer to close their account. The customer service agent closed my case by asking me to pay in full and check my statement. But this is what I did, now I must wait for the next month's statement? So, I did. I paid again, because there is like 6 deductions for this cover and that cover for debt insurance and theft insurance. No, My account is in credit and guess what. They refuse still. They will rather me use my credit. Mr. Price, I will not spend another sent on this company in my life if I could help it.
For 8 years and all I get is an SMS informing me my debt was handed to lawyers. For less than R200. Your "very helpful" customer care could have just reached out.
And now that I want to leave, I am denied this.

I am not happy, about the service that I received from Mr Price table when I went there on the 27th of February 2021. I got there to collect the my laybye the lady Jamie lee Japri who was helping me came.and took my lay bye number and disappeared for 30 minutes then the manager came rudely threw my money that was on the counter as I was to pay .he then rubbed the sale details . Jamie came back and asked for my lay bye number again and I asked what she was doing for 30 minutes and she said she was looking for my lay bye without my.lay bye number in sealed bags . The manager Brian came and I asked him what his employee was doing for 30 minutes without a laybye number and he was rude I them asked him why he was taking us for a joke and he refused to help me. We then gave the lady my lay bye number again and she went for another 30 minutes so we spent more than an hour in the shop. When I told Jamie I was going to put in a complaint she rolled her eyes and told me to tag her in the complaint which made me believe that they get away with treating customers bad.
