Matt always knows exactly what to do to advance Gabrielle’s skills.

My daughters first ever residential camp and what an experience for her. She absolutely loved it and couldn’t stop talking about the food, coaches, drills and how many new friends she has made ! An absolute must for next year .

Matt Taylor's 1-2-1 Skill sessions break the players style down into bite size elements that can be easily explained, practiced and improved. The sessions recognise the benefit of incremental improvement and are delivered in Matt's calm but challenging tone as he draws out the best from the player. These sessions are an absolute must for those committed to improving technical aspects of the game

Excellent camp. Very professional. My son loved it. Staff were fantastic and coaching top quality.

The two day activities are always delivered very well with participants enjoying the experience and extending their skills. However it is becoming very difficult for children from a wide range of economic circumstances to access the opportunities because of the cost.
Is access to sport now only available to a very small group of families.

My son really enjoyed his experience, the days were well organised with a balance of play and relaxation. The drills were well organised and the coaches were motivating and encouraging. The programme was busy and the food was excellent and the accommodation was comfortable.

My son is attending their elite camp for the second time and has attended other camps of theirs too. He loves them and finds them very useful. He’s already looking forward to attending the Repton camp next year!! Thank you MT13!!!

The greater annoyance was the badgering to rate an experience that didn't happen!!

Matt is a great 1:1 coach. Mixes technique and physicality superbly. Good communicator and puts clients at ease.

My daughter Jasmine (10 years old) has attended 3, MT13 camps this summer. Matt and the coaching team have consistently provided an excellent level of coaching with the sessions being very well organised. Whenever I have observed from the sidelines, players have received an impressive amount of individual feedback within a fantastic variety of activities; each planned with meticulous attention to detail. At the end of each session, my daughter has been keen to talk about the skills she has learned, friends she has made and how coaches keep the players constantly active (even offering hints and tips during break times!) MT13 is obviously a high quality organisation and one we plan to stay involved with in the future. - Richard Price

First Class hockey coaching, friendly encouraging excellence in one neat package. You dont need to look anywhere else for elite to beginner hockey coaching. Highly Recommended from the mum of two enthusiastic young hockey players.

Our daughter only started with MT13 this year and the improvement in her game is already evident. The training is intense, direct and on-point, as is the video follow-up so learnings from each session can be recalled and put into practice. Our daughter is county/PC player, training 6 times a week at club or other venue, and she/we couldn't be more pleased with the value of the training delivered at MT13.

My daughter Maisey has attended 2 day camps, 1-1’s, project MT for the last 6 years. Maisey thoroughly enjoys her time with MT13 and finds every session engaging, fun and packed full of useful training techniques. Matt and all the coaches are fantastic. Definitely would recommend to anyone interested in improving their hockey skills.

Matt's approach to training is exceptional, with video feedback and tips. He works you hard with great results, tweaking bad habits to enable skills to be honed.

My daughter, aged 10, has attended MT13 residential, project MT, small group sessions, 2 day camps and 1-2-1 sessions with MT13. She also took the online courses during Covid Lockdown 1.

Whatever session she attends, we always find that the coaches take a personal interest in her development and I always come away feeling that we have received excellent value for money.

Matt is extremely passionate about enhancing her performance; skills and mindset.

She really enjoys the residential course, and says her 1-2-1 sessions are “epic”.

As a parent, I’ve seen huge improvements in her skills, love to see her enjoy her sessions and would recommend MT13 wholeheartedly.

Excellent 1:1 and small group sessions with Matt have really helped me develop specific skill areas I felt I needed support with. Good video analysis and tactical development too. Given me a focus for my games and team practice sessions. Feel I’ve really developed because of MT13.

My son has been part of MT13 for the last four years from the age of 12. He started with the Project MT which runs during term time. He took part in many 2 day camps and several Elite residential and day camps.
He now works with MT13 in small group and 1-1 sessions at the indoor Home facility which is amazing, especially during the dark, Winter months.
Whatever the age or players ability MT13 encourage and support as well as creating a fun, caring and progressive environment.

My daughter has thoroughly benefitted from all that MT13 has to offer. The 1:1 coaching, group sessions, Project MT and residentials have all hugely enhanced her skills. She has enjoyed every moment of every session with Matt and his team and we look forward to more coaching in the years to come.

My son attended the residential camp at Repton School a few days ago. He came away absolutely buzzing, said he had learnt so much, met lots of really nice people and had played loads of hockey.
