We initially requested a quote and Sharif was very prompt with his response. The quote was clear, detailed, and easy to understand. He came out to the property on time, assessed the situation thoroughly, and made recommendations on the spot, clearly explaining the pros and cons of each option so we could make informed decisions.
Once we moved forward, a date was set for installation. Sharif and his team arrived as scheduled, completed the work efficiently, and cleaned up afterward. They were professional, present, and communicative throughout the entire process.
We implemented a comprehensive system that includes a call box, AI-powered cameras, keyless entry, and viewer boxes inside each unit. This setup has made our multi-unit property significantly more convenient and secure for our tenants. We now have the ability to grant and deny access remotely to every door and entry point in the building. This has been extremely helpful for onboarding new tenants, allowing realtors to show units, providing access to maintenance staff and contractors, and managing temporary access for package and food deliveries through gate codes.
As out-of-town owners of a multifamily property, there are always challenges, but this system has been a game changer. We now have over 20 cameras covering all common areas, hallways, and gate entries, giving us full visibility without constantly wondering what is happening on the property. Some cameras include facial recognition and others can read license plates, which adds an additional layer of security and value.
This experience has made us better property managers overall, and this same strategy will absolutely be implemented on any additional properties we acquire in Chicago.
