This was picked as an activity by the groom for his future wife on a hen trip. Some members on the trip were a bit nervous and worried about getting dressed up and involved in the night but the actors leading the night made everyone feel so comfortable and relaxed to join in. We belly laughed the whole way through it was so good! If anyone forgot their cue or line the actors subtly prompted and kept the story going. The story itself was hilarious, genuinely such a good evening would definitely recommend!

Fab company from initial inquiry, the booking process and the actual event they were fantastic throughout. Steve was on hand to answer any questions even on the evening of the murder mystery.

Actors running the night were superb and really entertaining. We had an unforgettable weekend and gave the bride to be a hen do that surpassed all expectations. Would 100% recommend.

We had a great evening as part of a hen do, the actors were fun and ran the evening well.
My only recommendation would be to slightly adapt the prompts that people are given, they are quite lengthy text that you have to read to then understand where your bit is. If your characters words were shown in bold text with the person speaking before last sentence this might help the “flow” better as we had a lot of giggling people trying to work out their lines - it didn’t impact the night and was part of the fun but would be the only thing I could offer as a suggestion

This was a lot of fun and very well organised! Steve was very helpful and informative through the booking process and the two actors were very warm, encouraging and made sure the evening flowed. We were all laughing the whole time and had a fabulous evening for my sister’s hen party. Definitely recommend as something a bit different if you like dressing up!

I honestly couldn’t recommend the Murder Mystery Meals Company enough. We had such a fantastic evening from start to finish.

The hosts, Professor Howard Carter and Queen Nefertiti, made the whole experience incredibly immersive with brilliant improv, lots of laughs, and great interaction throughout the night. Everything flowed so smoothly with no awkward downtime, while still giving everyone plenty of time to eat, socialise, and enjoy the evening.

A huge thank you to Steve for organising everything so well. From the initial enquiry, the booking process was really comprehensive and easy to follow. The personalised invitations and character packs were such a great touch, our guests loved them and it really helped everyone get into character before the event.

Such a fun, memorable evening and definitely something we’ll all be talking about for a long time!

We had a murder mystery meal for 18 people at a hen do last weekend. It was absolutely hilarious! A brilliant ice breaker for those in the group who didn’t know each other. We had no idea what to expect and all felt a bit awkward at the beginning but the actors were great and we soon all felt at ease and got stuck in. The plot kept us gasping, giggling and guessing all the way through, really a great event!

I booked the murder mystery company to attend a dinner party for my sister’s hen do. The communication and organisation from Steve was outstanding. He made the planning of the evening run smoothly. Everyone enjoyed the evening - a great script and the actors were on hand to help us with our scripts. Would recommend!

We booked Murder Mystery meals for my best friend's hen party and it was brilliant!! The mix of characters was great and everyone really went to town on their costumes/getting into character. Our two actors were great and kept the evening flowing. I would 100% recommend this as an activity at an event/get together!

From beginning to end, Stephen and his team were absolutely amazing. He guided me through everything I needed, helped me determine how many people were required, and was even able to accommodate last-minute adjustments.

The venue was gorgeous, the decorations were incredible, and the hotel staff were so friendly and attentive to all of our needs. The actors were fantastic as well, helping to prompt us whenever we got a little distracted, which kept the experience fun and engaging throughout the night.

Most of the food was okay. Coming from an African Caribbean background, we would have appreciated a few more diverse food options. However, the menu had been shared with us beforehand, so we knew what to expect and this was no fault of anybody involved. The overall experience definitely made up for it.

Everyone left having a phenomenal time. Thank you again for all of your support from start to finish — you truly made my murder mystery 30th birthday an unforgettable night to remember!

On the night the actor's were excellent, we had an absolutely brilliant night with lots of fun and laughter. I would 100% recommend.

We booked this murder mystery experience for a hen weekend, and it genuinely exceeded all expectations. From the start, even those in the group who were a bit sceptical ended up fully embracing it—by the end of the evening, everyone was completely in character and having an amazing time.

The whole experience was brilliantly run, with plenty of laughs throughout. Both actors were fantastic—engaging, professional, and they kept everything flowing smoothly so the evening stayed on track without ever feeling forced.

The attention to detail really stood out, especially the personalised invitations, which added such a special touch and got everyone excited before the event had even begun.

A special mention to Steve as well, who was incredibly helpful in the lead-up to the event. His communication was excellent, and he was so patient and responsive despite me asking what must have felt like 101 questions! It really helped everything feel organised and stress-free.

Steve was amazing at getting everything organised for us and the communication for it all was second to none.
The venue Steve found for hosting the event was absolutely perfect! And the night itself was so much fun!
The actors were incredible, the story line was perfect for our hen do and the food was amazing. There was non stop laughter all evening and it was the prefect way to start the hen do as it was a great ice breaker for us all, all the hens absolutely loved it!

I booked this for my sister’s hen party. She loves a murder mystery and I thought this would be slightly more special and less stressful than just buying a do-it-yourself! It was absolutely perfect. The planning was so easy, Steve was incredibly fast at replying to all of my emails and helped with any questions or stresses I had. Then the actual day went amazingly, everyone got into their characters, had a such good laugh, and the actors were great fun too. A highlight of the hen.
All in all a great event and would do it again!

We were looking for something a bit different for our Christmas party this year. I stumbled across Murder Meals by luck and after reading all the fab reviews decided to book an evening with them. Steve was brilliant with communication, and it was a really easy booking process.

The evening itself was so much fun. The two actors were excellent and we were crying with laughter watching each others “performances”.

Really well organised prior to the event with great email communication . Very professional and responsive if I had any questions .
The actors were prompt and were great in keeping us all on track with the script .
It was great fun and I would really recommend this company and this type of event .
