Quartet worked diligently and skilfully to bring my project to life

We booked Music Students for Hire who provided an amazing service at an incredible rate. From start to finish, Ben’s communication was so prompt and thorough and I felt completely confident that it would run really smoothly.

We booked a string trio (Sophistication Strings) who provided a beautiful bespoke ceremony and cocktail hour based on our favourite songs - a mix of pop, rock and film scores - even a bit of hip hop!

Everyone has commented on how amazing it sounded and how classy it made the event feel.

We recently had the pleasure to have the Music Students string trip to play at our wedding. They were simply exceptional from start to finish. From the moment we first spoke with Ben our point of contact, they put us completely at ease. On the day itself, they reassured the groom right away that they had everything under control, and they truly did!
They knew every key song we’d chosen and performed each one beautifully, perfectly timed with all the special moments, from the aisle walk to the signing, and even the exit. Their timing was impeccable, and they seamlessly adapted to the flow of the ceremony and cocktail hour.
What really stood out was how they managed to strike the perfect balance between elegance and fun. They created a joyful, upbeat atmosphere that reflected exactly what we wanted for our day. So many of our guests commented on how amazing they were! I highly recommend them and will be hiring them again for future events again!

Had a violinist for my wedding and had a specific song request. The violinist managed to master the piece in two months and play it perfectly for my wedding entrance.

Amazing! From initially booking to the date of our wedding, MSH have been brilliant. The communication has been absolutely excellent and everything was discussed to ensure we had the best service possible. Liz was outstanding on the violin and is talented beyond words. We could not fault a single thing and everyone said how amazing her performance was. We are so thankful to Liz and Ben for their involvement in our day and would absolutely recommend MSH to anyone!

Absolutely amazing from start to finish. The booking process was straight forward, clear and Ben was so helpful and friendly. The band were AMAZING! They ‘made’ our event - a wedding reception. Friendly, talented beyond belief and provided a wonderful back drop of easy listening and popular jazz tunes for young and old to enjoy. I will 100% invite them back when I have another party. Best find I have ever made on Google!!!!

Ben, the Operations Manager, was amazing throughout - really clear in instructions, efficient and super helpful. The string trio were amazingly talented and played at our wedding at Hedingham Castle which was perfect for the ambience. The trio were really polite and played beautifully. The quality was brilliant and I would highly recommend Music Students for Hire. They have a wonderful repertoire of songs (current,classical, Bollywood etc) so something for everyone.

I can not recommended Music Students for hire enough. We didn't think we had the budget for a musician and stumbled across this service. After watching the many, many videos on their website and then looking at the musicians accounts on you tube we knew that they were talented - and affordable!
Ben handled all our queries in the run up to booking and then was on hand for all our questions. Once we were put in contact with our violinist, Anna contacted us straight away via WhatsApp and couldn't have been more helpful. She was happy to share ideas for playlist, and the backing tracks she would use to help with timings etc. (for my walk down the aisle). She even shared with us outfits she had to ensure she fitted in with our aesthetic and dress code! Any songs not on her extensive set list she was happy to include, as long as she had notice to practice.
On the day, Anna was exceptional, so many of my guests commented on how wonderful and talented she was, she really made the day beautiful.
I am so glad I found this service, I will be looking to book again for other events, for sure!

Bonnie set the perfect atmosphere for our guests to mingle and enjoy the early evening in style. Would thoroughly recommend.

The musician played wonderful and accommodated my songs/music requests.
I asked for an acoustic violinist to perform at my baby granddaughter's welcoming party.
All the guests including the very young children enjoyed it very much.
Live music is such a great choice to have,people get engaged more and gives a different ambience.

From the very beginning through e mailing,the manager of the company contacted me via e-mail the next day.and we went through what I needed and was looking for and accommodated me with this acoustic violinist and I/we really enjoyed it.

We’ve had Miranda violinist playing at our ceremony ,absolutely beautiful and everything I requested was played .
Dave saxophonist played after the ceremony for 2 hours and once again super happy with him,guests were loving it. Very pleased how everything went.

Such a wonderful experience! We hired a string quartet for 2 1/2 hours to play at our wedding and using Music Students for Hire made that process so easy! Ben was super flexible and responsive over email to all our asks and questions, and the price was so reasonable. He even helped us extend the original booking from an hour to 2.5, and made it fuss free.

The quartet played so beautifully, you really wouldn’t have been able to tell they were still students. Their repertoire was so extensive we had loads of choice of songs. They did an amazing job entertaining our guests in the times we were busy, and our guests gave lots of comments saying how good the quartet were and complimenting the songs that were played.

We had the most beautiful string duo for our wedding and they were perfect! All the guests loved them. The booking process was fantastic and they were amazing with writing us a composition for a song that wasn't on their repertoire list. They were just perfect!

Well what can I say apart for GREAT JOB team you absolutely SMASHED it from start to finish of the UK Excellence Awards at Wembley Stadium.. I stood at the other end at one point and looked towards you and the dance floor was packed to the rafters... your energy and engagement was off the scale and we loved everything you did.. I can’t recommend you enough!
