So satisfying to make something useful!!
I had an issue accessing the course links but this was easily and quickly sorted out when I made contact for assistance.
I've made the shopping basket and the garden plant support, and am looking forwards to choosing another kit to do.

The only thing I would like are some ideas of what can be done with the extra willow twigs I have left over 😊

Soaked the willow for 5 days then left in damp towel for 24hours. Some willow break but there is no help on what to do when this happens and it mucks up the flow, which is already tricky. She also said to start bending up the slathes or whatever as you are weaving which I did. I noticed hers was flat when starting to build up the sides hmmm mine was not but had a curve as i thought it was supposed to.
Its not easy. Waste of money as I feel very frustrated with the project.

I have made several thing with Myown2hands and I'm trilled with them all! The videos are so clear and she is very calm and easy to follow. It's great to be able to replay any parts over again if you didn't get it first time. I've made a large basket that I use constantly and my friend were so impressed I made another one for her birthday and she loves it. I also made two bird boxes - one for me and one for a birthday present and she's as chuffed as I am with it! So theraputic to make and a joy to have to keep. Kits arrive quickly and company is very friendly and efficient.

This was give to me as a present last year, and such a lovely one it turned out to be. The pack was very thorough in its detail and I was supplied with everthing needed. I learned so much making it, but with very clear instructions I managed to make a beautiful if individual plant stand for beans to grow up the first year and sweet peas this. It has stayed out in the garden since making and makes a lovely sculptural effect in my boarder. It was a beautiful gift.

The video tutorials are wonderful, calm and clear. Lovely collection of projects to choose from for beginners and up - it was a first for me and I have made some lovely gifts, namely the bird house, bird feeder and Christmas stars. Highly recommended!

This is a great way to get into hand crafting. I was given the kit to make a willow plant support and it included access to the video talk-through.
An excellent resource explaining how to make the support and I've returned to it several times to revise and make others.
Highly recommended.

I received this as a present. I was really proud of what I managed to produce. The online tutorials were exceptional and the telephone support that I needed to draw on was second to none. I’d highly recommend this as something to do either by yourself or get a few kits and invite friends around too. It’s takes a bit of planning but definitely worth the effort.

I loved the whole experience of making the tension tray. Now I can’t wait to make the birdhouse. My wife bought me the two kits for a Christmas gift, and the snippets for my January birthday. An excellent present.

They have redelivered the parcel and came in on a Saturday to resolve it, i am thankful for that. There is a new parcel en route and I will again update when I see the quality of the kit and instructions etc.
I will still leave them a 4 star review as there is virtually zero means of contact apart from their email which they do not reply from. A phone number would be the best option for a quick response.

Saw the ad on facebook and bought rhe BOGOF beery basket offer. I inputted the correct address and correct post code; however, when it came to track the parcel, it was being delivered to the wrong address and wrong post code! I checked to see if I had put my address in correctly and nope, I hadn’t. Theyve put in the wrong address and post code! As soon as I saw this at 7:50 oj the courier website, I tried to phone the courier thinking they’ve made a mistake but their courier would not answer and they didn’t any form of communications (DX is the courier name). When the courier option did not work, i tried seeing if i could get a reply from My Own 2 Hands [MO2H] through their email as that’s what they said to do when they sent their original email if there were any questions or concerns. Nothing… I thought ‘bugger they’re going to deliver to the incorrect address, I’ll see if i can find any phone number for MO2H, all of this at 12pm. I found a London number on their instagram (that definitely has 30k fake followers) and called it. Nothing…. Again… i then looked at their facebook… a mobile phone number linked to a whatsapp! Great! I called the number. Nothing… AGAIN… but, it said the called was Patrick, the same name under the emails before. I thought to myself thats the right guy. I called again at 3pm. Nothing… AGAIN. Then i phoned twice at around 4:10… finally! Patrick answered whilst driving somewhere. He explained that he would get it sorted IMMEDIATELY and to forward any info to his whatsapp account. Its been 24 hours. I’m not sure if that’s immediately Patrick! Anyway, im still having no success trying to contact them. How are you supposed to sort out issues if you cant reach them! They need employees in order to answer these things. Even my local fish and chip shop answered the phone when you call!

Great little company. Really clear instructions in the lifetime-access videos, good quality willow and snips and sundry items (lights etc. for specific kits) and the customer service is really wonderful. I often email with queries about kit choice and there's always a swift, professional response from Sam. Very pleased to have followed a random Facebook advert a few years ago. I don't get much time to do my weaving but it's very easy to have it as a favourite hobby with the resources and support available.
A couple of bits of description on the website need updating on some of the products, but with so many to choose from it's not surprising the odd bit of copy hasn't been updated perfectly between products

Fantastic product and excellent customer service, easy to follow video tutorials and super happy with my bird house!

After weeks of soaking my willow, it is still breaking when trying to weave with it. The endless rewinding the video to execute the weave wasn’t helpful. For the price printed visuals would have been supportive. I contacted the company about the breakage and their only response was what kit did I buy. They dropped the conversation and didn’t return my response. Two friends who had also ordered had the same prob with breakage.

They replied through Trust Pilot and asked me to email them t but they didn't provide an email address. Their website doesn't offer a customer service contact email. I have no way to directly email then.

I ordered the Asymetric Basket kit, on the web page it states “ Receive a lovely kit in the post that includes all the materials you need for the course”. The basket has a lovely wooden handle in all the pictures - ‘kit’ did not come with a handle, with the course literally stating
“We don't include a handle stick in the current version of the kit…we think it's best for you to go cut a handle stick yourself”
Soaking bag provided for Willow, but not fit for purpose as they leak - instructions in course state this and tell you to use bulldog clips to secure bag.
The business is a marketing machine, powered by AI, which feels very out of alignment with the nature connection they seem associated with - when I tried to send a query to the Facebook page about an offer code that wasn’t working for me they spammed me with multiple sales messages, and still have not replied to my actual query.
Video course is good quality, a real shame that they let themselves down in other areas.

I do not recommend purchasing from this firm.

I received the log basket kit by Myowntwohands.co as a gift. The instructions that came with the parts said that guidance and details on creating the basket could be downloaded using a code provided.

The code did not produce the promised instructions, only an invitation by buy the whole kit again. An email address was provided for enquiries, and over the recent months I sent have numerous emails seeking help, I have not had any response. A phone number or actual contact address of this firm is not available on the firm’s website, so in the absence of a reply I am stuck.

It might, or might not be a good product - for the moment is an expensive bundle of sticks.

My son, who gave me the kit, has also tried to contact this firm, but also without success.

Update 24/8 - Myowntwohands replied to the review above asking for me to contact them directly - without providing their contact details, so I wrote again on their hello@.. address - the one I previously used and they had ignored - as as before they haven't bothered to respond to this latest contact either.

So as I said above, I recommend that you spend your money on elsewhere.

I've had an amazing time using this company. I'll be honest, I purchased (several) kits, (many) years ago, but finally plucked up the courage to get cracking on them. 1st was the Christmas Kit. I've made terrific decorations using the brilliant instructional video and am really pleased with my first attempt. 2nd was the bird house, purchased by my nephew for Christmas for both my sister in law and I. We had a great day making this each, and were really pleased with the results. 3rd (yes, I said I'd had lots of kits never started!) Was the bird feeding station. Again, great results, with very clear video instructions ..... the only thing I can faulty is my poor choice of snips ... they have to be good quality to get that lovely clean cut finish (mine leave a bit to be desired!) .... but that's nothing to do with the kits or materials, just my own mistake.

If I can figure out how to upload pics here I'd be happy to show off my efforts.

I've already recommended this company to friends who are keen to have a go themselves.
