What a great website MyPocketSkill.
So easy to find a biology tutor for my daughter studying IB . Emily knew everything about studying at higher level as she had been an IB student herself

Stumbled across this website when looking for a reasonably priced content creator for my wedding. Molly was an outstanding Spanish tutor for my 17 year old daughter (who is about to take Spanish A-Level). She was excellently prepared, focussed, supportive and encouraging, and we would definitely recommend her, and My Pocket Skill.

As a business owner, the whole experience with MPS was frustrating. I was hiring a creator for social media. We had an initial interview and agreed on the type of work and I paid £160 for the first month (8 hours of work). After I received the first delivery, it was clear than quality and type of work does not meet my needs.

Do not think you’ll get any quality work done here. You can get much more for this money on fiver or upwork.

1. There is no option for paid trials. So you cannot assess the quality of someone’s work unless you get the subscription.

2. No clear messaging about the termination process. They forced me to pay £160 more for cancelling the subscription.

3. The chat inside the platform is overly restrictive and intrusive.

The platform is a great idea to help young people earn money and teach them about how to manage their finances. It helps keep young people safe, and makes me feel secure that all my interactions are monitored.

It was really good to be able to find an amazing photographer for our wedding at a more affordable price. This website gave us a few options & we were able to find someone who was brilliant. The only frustrating point was when I had booked my photographer, it was a little tricky at first to give details of the event & arrange meeting…the website blocked our communication for a short time! It really worried me but thankfully after a bit all was ok & the photographer got the details needed to know where & when to go. Overall I am very happy with the whole experience & I have great photos. The photographer was amazing!

The experiences are great. But you need to try more to find the suitable tutor you need. Not everyone are good. But need time and try in errors and money.

Needed to find a photographer for an event that wasn’t going to cost half a wage packet when i came across mypocketskill it was easy to sign up and make a post of what I was looking for and even search for people who were close enough in distance. All communication went through the chat and booking was made simple. Would recommend to others for any future events or any other needs as they cover a wide variety of topics
