Firstly, I wish to apologize for the way this trip took place, it should have never happened this way, and we accept full responsibility.
As an extra service to our passengers we sometimes pick them up from home whenever possible to help them out, a service that is very much appreciated by many customers. Moreover, as mentioned in our website, we are also starting a shuttle service to Brussels airport from home in central Antwerp. Since it’s on the way, we sometimes combine both together. Normally this occurs without problems, as we plan in such a way to ensure all passengers arrive on schedule. After all we take very seriously our responsibility to bring our customers to the airport safely on time.
Notwithstanding our good intentions, regrettably in this case it exceptionally went wrong due to a combination of factors. I did call you at the airport to check on your situation, and immediately took full responsibility for this mishap and offered to compensate you for all your losses.
We are a small family company who are dedicated to serve our customers, even if there’s just one passenger in the shuttle. Notwithstanding all our best efforts in good faith, not everything is in our hands and we’re only human, and sh*t happens. A driver can wake up late, passengers can be delayed, extra bad traffic because of an accident... Even big airlines like Ryanair had to cancel and delay many flights, while trains and buses can be on strike.
But one thing is for sure, if it’s our fault we always take responsibility and compensate the customer.
