F would highly recommend Mr Nakul Patel for abdominoplasty and abdominal muscle repair. He is
professional and also makes you feel at ease with his calm and friendly manner.
My first child was large and resulted in my abdominal muscles being torn and separated and an
ugly overhang of skin. This affected what clothes I could wear and my confidence. Following the
procedure I feel much more confident in my appearance and can wear whatever I like without
feeling self conscious
From the first consultation he made me feel at ease with his calm and pleasant manner. He
explained the procedure and answered my questions. He marked on my abdomen where he could
remove skin and fat and took photographs. He was so nice about this which made me feel OK
about exposing my awful tummy.
At the second appointment he went through the procedure again and made sure that I understood
what would happen and that I was sure about going forward with it. We agreed a timescale to suit
me and his secretary rang and arranged times and dates. She also is very pleasant and helpful.
On the day of the surgery Mr Patel spoke with me and my husband in my hospital room and
reassured us both as I was starting to feel a bit nervous and my husband was worried about me
The anaesthetist and nursing staff were also lovely.
Mr Patel visited me the next morning and was very reassuring, and had prescribed a number of
pain killers, so I had very little pain. He reminded me of how I should take care of my self for the
next few weeks until my next outpatient appointment with him
Prior to contacting Mr Patel, I had researched other consultants for abdominoplasty and his
reviews were the best. My experience demonstrated that I definitely made the right choice and
would recommend him to anyone wanting this procedure

I cannot recommend Dr Nakul Patel enough! From consultation, to surgery day and after Dr Patel has been supportive, kind and professional. During consultations, he helped me understand the procedure and guided me towards the best aesthetic choice, while ensuring my safety and longevity with the results. After, he continued to support me, making sure I feel comfortable and guiding me on recovery. He is brilliant and lovely to be around, highly knowledgeable, meticulous and a fantastic surgeon. Back in February I had a cyst removed from the crown of my head.. The histology report afterwards was fine… I had 5 stitches & given a gel to apply to scar while it healed.. A couple weeks later I had the stitches removed.. The scar was healing nicely & I’ve had no problems at all.. I had a follow up appointment in April to see how I was doing.. A lovely experience, treated with kindness & compassion from start to finish.. Thank you to Mr Patel & his 2 nurses who looked after me at The Nuffield Hospital in Leicester..

Went to see Mr Patel regarding suspected skin cancer as the NHS had a 4 month waiting list.
He operated on me on 17th March and
was worth every penny.
He is so lovely, I am very happy with the outcome, lovely neat scar.

I first visited Mr. Patel in October 2023 after a significant weight loss. While I was incredibly proud of my progress, the loose skin left behind had a profound impact on my confidence. I avoided full-body pictures, felt self-conscious daily, and struggled to truly embrace my transformation. It was always on my mind, and I knew that surgery was the only way to finally feel comfortable in my own skin.

From the very first consultation, Mr. Patel’s passion for his work truly shone through. He was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly kind! He genuinely cares about his patients, and that was evident from the moment we met. I was naturally nervous about undergoing such a major procedure (I had an extended tummy tuck, muscle repair, and liposuction to the flanks), but he addressed all of my concerns and worries. He took the time to explain every step of the process, from what to expect before surgery to how recovery would look. He was honest and transparent, setting realistic expectations while still giving me so much hope for what could be achieved.

Seeing his previous work on social media was reassuring, but nothing could have prepared me for how incredible my own results would be. I am now just under eight weeks post-op, and I am absolutely blown away. The skill, precision, and attention to detail in his work are beyond anything I could have hoped for. My results have already exceeded my expectations, and I know they will continue to improve as I heal.

He and his team were always available to answer my questions, provide reassurance, and ensure my recovery was as smooth as possible. Choosing to have this surgery was a huge decision, but choosing Mr. Patel as my surgeon was, without a doubt, the best choice I could have made. Mr Patel treated me for what was potentially a very serious situation. From the outset Mr Patel had a manner that gave you confidence that you were dealing with someone who really new what they were about and was at the top of their game. His open style had a great balance between being both highly professional and personal which was very reassuring. He explained situations and plans with clarity and made sure you understood what was going on at every stage, be it in person or on a call. The feeling of confidence carried on outside of appointments with Mr Patel, as all of the scheduling of appointments and any other information or updates I needed were handled speedily and with great courtesy by his assistant Kristina. I feel very fortunate it was Mr Patel handling my situation and cannot recommend him highly enough.

For me, and I imagine for most, the first thing you look for in a surgeon is results. Looking at the Before and After pictures online, checking the appearance and scarring. I had my breast reduction and abdominoplasty because I hated my large breasts - wider than my body - and my apron pouch belly after several pregnancies and two caesareans.
I selected Mr Patel because it was clear his results are excellent- and they are. I cannot believe how I look. My breasts have reduced by 5 cup sizes and my stomach is flat. I have just bought normal pants instead of granny pants for the first time in years! The scarring is neat and reducing rapidly.

However, I got especially lucky. What I didn’t know was how caring Mr Patel and his team are. So reassuring and gentle, understanding and supportive. This made a huge difference, it reduced my fears significantly. The nurses all spoke very highly of Mr Patel, including when he wasn’t present. This is telling! When I returned to Spire to see a nurse to have the dressings removed Mr Patel wasn’t in the hospital that day but the nurse helping me said ‘Oh, Mr Patel, you are so lucky to have him as your surgeon - he’s so good, and so kind.’

If you are reading this review because you are considering this surgery- it is life changing and I don’t exaggerate that. I have more confidence, am able to move more, exercise better and easier, and bras are cheaper!! I have found myself able to buy clothes because I like them rather than because they drape or hide my figure.
If you are reading this review to help decide on a surgeon- you can’t go wrong picking Mr Patel - an excellent surgeon with incredible results, but also so kind and understanding (enough to also reassure my cynical husband!). Reassuring and gentle throughout. I won’t share my before and after pics because of my job but I am unrecognisable and I love it! Thank you Mr Patel for every stage of this process.

Nakul Patel is honest , warm and sensitive in his approach. He answered my questions and offered reassurance. He checked how I was feeling after the initial consultation by phone and follow up consultations in person .
All nursing staff including Nakuls PA, Kristina, were very helpful , nothing was too much trouble.
Aftercare was brilliant, the bruising after surgery was minimal, I recovered quickly.

Mr Patel did a wonderful job, so caring and thoughtful throughout the process, can't recommend him enough.

Nakul Patel was recommended to me via a nurse. I was really impressed in his ability to make you feel comfortable in discussing your issues, giving you alternatives with different surgical outcomes but most of all he listens to your concerns and only acts on your instructions to give you the very best outcome. I will certainly go back to Nakul if I have to have any further surgical procedures in the future.
