Not great at all for business travel

Not great at all for business travel. Navan is so focused on getting the cheapest prices by any means possible, it creates inconveniences that add up to a bad travel experience.

When booking fares, I found that flights that were more convenient were listed as sold out even though they were available on other travel sites. What was available to me were the inconvenient times with lower fares. Sucks if you're forced to use Navan by your corporate travel policy.

On an airfare that I did book, I was in one of the last boarding groups even though my partner - who booked her seat next to mine through another site paid the same fare and was in an earlier boarding group. Not a big deal until you see that the airline is disallowing carry-ons for later boarding groups because the flight is full.

Finally , on two separate occasions, I've had hotel clerks question how I got my rate because I was ineligible for it. Thankfully they honored it but not great to hear when traveling for work.

I'm going to ask my office to switch their corporate travel partner.

Great experience

The adoption of Navan has streamlined the travel booking services across the company, not only for the travelers, as well as for fin-admin teammates, with great reporting and dashboards.

Navan is a user-friendly travel platform, clean UI, and good UX. For event organizers also offers great resources to make it easy the user experience and budget control.

In the last year, since we adopted Navan, the platform is always evolving with new features and enhacements.

Generally very good

Generally very good. Lots of flexibility with regard to approvals and works well operationally. Only frustrations relate to how difficult it is to change a flight booking - this normally involves 45 minutes spent chatting online with a support assistant and frustratingly the same difficulties repeat every time. If this could be fixed it would be a 5 star review.

Navan has been a positive experience…

Navan has been a positive experience for our employees. I use the platform multiple times a day. Our travelers say it's user friendly for both the travel and the expense side. They have good customer support. The phone app has had a few glitches, but the Navan team seems interested in continually improving the system.

I've used so many different companies…

I've used so many different companies over the years, but Navan is absolutely the best company to book my work and personal travel on. The process to separate both bookings, add our rewards programs and customer support they have in place to help in-case there is an issue has been amazing.

The app does not send e tickets…

The app does not send e tickets automatically, its a tiny tick box option at the end. Be aware of this, as there is no way to ask for an e ticket after order confirmation which its frustrating. This needs to be changed.

This is the single worst website ever

This is the single worst website I have ever used. Full of bugs that are causing non stop delays for my team and I. Major buyer regret. I would stay away from this company at all costs.

Navan didn't help

Navan didn't help. Navan held up my ticket and forbidding me to upgrade my flights at the price offered to me by BA. This is absolutely terrible.

Worst platform for traveling.

Worst platform for traveling.
Impossible to book a trip. My trips get removed from the rest of the group and I cannot be re-added.

What could go wrong went wrong

What could go wrong went wrong. Almost one of the group could not join an international trip. Fortunately I found out just in time…. However Navan put the issue on the customer with a significant increase of price. Unbelievable. Whilst checking in Navan seemed to have issued a ticket for a minor on a separate booking creating other issues during boarding. Curious how the travel back will be…..

I was in multiple contacts with customer service. They claimed to have mailed and called me which was not the case (I checked). Furthermore the responsibility was put on me the customer which disappointed me. I would recommend to improve.

Unfortunately Navan adds no value…

Unfortunately Navan adds no value compared to going direct or using other partners. It's hard to make changes, sometimes they don't provide confirmations, and chat is slow to respond. Not ideal for a frequent traveler!

Navan is a useless in-between app.

My flights were cancelled and Navan had no idea. I had to arrange everything by myself and even cancelling the booking through the Navan AI chatbot was an utter pain.

I got no help from navan in rebooking and I managed to get home on the same day using different option by myself. I would expect a travel management company to be able to manage travel in such circumstances.

Il y a un réel décalage entre la…

Il y a un réel décalage entre la promesse de vente et la réalité de l'outil. Navan a présenté des prix très attractifs pour attirer le client et les augmenter de manière significative par la suite (+40%).

L'implémentation de l'outil a été désastreuse.

Le support en ligne est correct (tout dépend sur qui vous tombez) mais les account managers ne sont d'aucune aide et en aucun cas pro-actif.

Dommage car la plateforme fonctionne plutpot bien mais si c'était à refaire je ne choisirais pas Navan.

Les rapports ont beaucoup changé avec eux post IPO aux US.

Hin- und Rückflug umbuchen scheitert grandios

Ich wollte einen Hin- und Rückflug (Flexticket) auf 1 Monat später umbuchen. Meine Internetverbindung war etwas schwach, vielleicht hat es daran gelegen, dass ich nicht beide Flüge gleichzeitig umbuchen konnte, sondern nur einen. Nachdem ich den Hinflug verschoben hatte und den Rückflug bearbeiten wollte, sagte mir die Navan-App, dass ich die Richtung des Fluges nicht umkehren darf. ??? Das war doch erst durch die App möglich gemacht worden. Beim Support brauchte ich 1,5h und 2 verschiedene Mitarbeiter, um das zu klären. Jetzt muss ich den -rückflug noch einmal umlegen. Die Navanmitarbeiterin hat den Chat geschlssen und mich an Lufthansa direkt verwiesen, dort geht es jetzt auch nur noch telefonisch. Das hat Navan zu verantworten, dass das so ein Aufwand ist. Der Service ist nicht zu empfehlen!
