I booked and paid for a taxi to pick me up from the Inverness Airport and take me to my AirBNB months ago. I flew in a few nights ago and no one was there to greet me. Understand that the Inverness airport is very small and there is only one place to greet passengers as they deplane. There were at least eight taxi drivers greeting arriving travellers that evening but mine was not among them. I waited till-everyone drivers and passengers alike were all gone and still no driver. We then went out into the cold and waited for an hour for a taxi because we were the last to get there (I booked and paid for a taxi in advance because I did not want to do this). When I contacted Ness Taxi the next day they informed me that their driver had waited for me, get this, in the parking lot for an long time and then left!!!!!!!! He waited for me in the dark in a parking lot I had never seen before and I should have found him . He also tried to contact me by phone he said. He actually tried to contact me by phone on my North American phone (we use a 10 digit number) and added a UK country code to my phone number which can only work on an 11 digit phone number. The response from Ness Taxi has been bye bye. The drivers last sentence in the email I received from Ness Taxi was "Please assure that we get paid for this job." WOW! That is some kind of customer service.
