Frozen items included in gift basket
A friend ordered a gift basket for us. When it arrived one of the items was a product which was supposed to be kept for an. The basket was not delivered cold/frozen and the item was already thawed with the product unusable. It is such poor judgment and quality control to include an item that should be kept frozen in a gift basket. I would definitely not recommend using them.

WORST BASKET IN HISTORY!
I ordered a very expensive basket for a client and upgraded the champagne for a total of $300. The delivery came and it looked nothing like website. It was supposed include a cute brown bear, they put a grey raccoon! It was very masculine on the website, that's why I chose it. Instead they include lavender and red chocolates instead of the chocolates that said "BOSS" on them. It was horrible! I had to apologize to my client that I sent it to. They wouldn't give me a refund or try to fix it. Beware, do not use this company they are horrific!!!

Don't bother choosing any items
I spent hours choosing from all of their options to create a custom basket for Mom's birthday.
The basket arrived in time and looked nice, but only the bottle of wine and pears were what I chose. The cutting board and all snacks were completely different. Their customer service says that this is within their policies, but their website doesn't understand that anywhere.
If you want a gift basket with random stuff included then sure you can use these people.

I would strongly caution anyone against…
I would strongly caution anyone against ordering from NYC Baskets. I placed an order early in the morning with their advertised “1 business day delivery” specifically for a bachelorette weekend. Despite ordering well before their cutoff time, they shipped my order using USPS Ground (2–5 days), which could never have met the timeline they promised.
The gift was useless by the time it arrived, and when I reached out for help, their customer service repeatedly hid behind “policies” instead of taking accountability for misleading shipping claims. They refused to issue a refund even though the product could not be used for its intended purpose and I do not live at the delivery address.
If you need a time-sensitive gift, beware: what they advertise as “1-day delivery” is not guaranteed and in reality may take days longer. Their lack of empathy and refusal to resolve the situation shows they care more about hiding behind fine print than helping their customers.

Do not use this company!! I paid for a basket to come with Whiskey, 6 bottles of coke, chips, brittle, chocolate, and two glass cups. Everything I got was completely different. I got wine, 2 bottles of sparkling water, all the snacks were different and a bag of munchies?? For 130 dollars!!! I could have made that basket myself and spent 30 dollars. Do not waste your money
