Zur Vorgeschichte:
Am 04.03.2026 war das Fahrzeug beim Händler zur Inspektion. Bei der Serviceannahme wurde ich darauf hingewiesen, dass die Reifen am Fahrzeug "lebensgefährlich" spröde und gerissen sind. Ein anwesender Prüfingenieur vom TÜV Rheinland hat dies bestätigt.
Weiterer Ablauf:
Nach telefonischer Rücksprache mit dem Verkäufer der Reifen und der Nexen Niederlassung Deutschland, habe ich der Reklamationsabteilung von Nexen am 16.03.2026 einige Bilder meines Satz N´Blue 4 Season zukommen lassen.
Die Reifen mit DOT 4721 sind rd. 28.000 km auf einem VW Polo 6r mit 86 PS gelaufen, montiert 07.04.2022.
Die Reifen habe ich umgehend durch neue ersetzt, da eine sichere Nutzung des Fahrzeugs nicht mehr gegeben war. Ich habe sowas noch nie bei einem Reifen gesehen, der nicht mal 4 Jahre montiert ist und bis vor 16 Monaten noch als Neureifen verkauft werden konnte.
Fazit:
Nach rd. 4 Wochen keine Reaktion!
Dies spiegelt einige Erfahrungsberichte hier bei Trustpilot wider.

Was ich bemerkenswert finde, ist, dass Nexen auf der eigenen Homepage unter dem Reiter "Reifentests"
diesen Reifen u.a. mit der Aussage "gute Wirtschaftlichkeit und hohe Laufleistung" bei diversen Reifentests bewirbt...

In base al prezzo ,offre una qualità senza equali , ovviamente non si possono paragonare ad un marchi lo premium,ma costano anche quasi la metà . Utilizzo da anni si varie auto sia estive che invernali e sempre con piacere .

2023 Hyundai Tucson, purchased in Dec 2023, had these tyres as default equipment. Having just recorded 27,000km, the tyres, Nexen Roadian GTX (235/60R13 103H) are needing to be replaced. All four tyres are exhibiting abnormal wear of flaking of the rubber tread. Have contacting Hyundai and awaiting response (will update this with status of discussion) but I would avoid these tyres if possible.

Car is used for general transportation on street / highway and has never been offroad. Tyres rotated at each service and air pressure checked and managed monthly.

My car 3 years 8 months old car is fitted with Nexen Tyres from new and just covered 20000 miles.All four are cracking.I regularly check pressures.They look many years older than they are and as I don’t feel safe driving on them and will be changing them this week. They are the worst Tyres I have ever had on my many cars.

3 year old tyres and outer tread on both front tyres delaminating. Followed the warrenty route, lots of tread left, dealer agreed they had failed. Heared nothing, dealer unable to help further, no nexen contact details. Car had to have tyres replaced for MOT.

Presso un officina di Salerno ho fatto montare le gomme 4 stagioni Nexen 215/60/16 dopo 22 Mila km mi tocca ricambiare le gomme perché dopo l'inversione l'auto tira a dx, le ruote si sono ovalizzate dopo 5 volte presso il rivenditore de filippis di Salerno che mi consiglio questo marchio nn è stato capace di risolvere il problema anzi sviava dicendo che era la centralina dello sterzo gli ammortizzatori etc invece il prodotto venduto fa schifo... Bassissima qualità come l'azienda es il fornitore etc ..Da premettere che ho sempre montato Continental Pirelli e Michelin.
Do dovuto scegliere una nuova officina per risolvere il problema da permettere che la convergenza nn era stata fatta nn c'erano piombi e nemmeno una stampa ...Nn vi fidate di chi offre prezzi bassi che poi bisogna pagare il doppio...Ci vorrebbero controlli serrati visto che si parla di sicurezza.

5mm left but side of the tire looks like is 10 years old, cracked and damaged

Have been driving for over 60 years never have had any problems with tyres… till Nissan Bognor recommended it. From day one tyres were loosing air I took them yesterday to Nissan and the “ technician “ said that nothing was wrong with the tyres….. so why they keep loosing air the front looses 3 psi the other front looses 4 psi and the same with the rear.
I should have read the comments….. perhaps are the more profitable for Nissan? Who knows

Nach dem Kauf von 4 Reifen habe ich mich für die "Nexen Tire Reifengarantie" registrieren wollen. Nach Eingabe aller Daten bekam ich eine E-Mail durch die ich meine E-Mail Adresse verifizieren sollte. Dieser Vorgang hat leider mehrmals nicht funktioniert, es erschien eine Fehlermeldung. Ich habe jeweils am 09.08. und nach einer Woche Wartezeit am 16.08. eine Mail an Nexen geschrieben, leider bekam ich keine Rückmeldung. Ich weis deshalb nicht ob ich für die Reifengarantie überhaupt registriert bin. Nexen wirbt mit der Reifengarantie und setzt dadurch Kaufanreize, eine Kontaktaufnahme durch Kunden war in meinem Fall nicht möglich, ich kann mir schon vorstellen wie in einem Schadensfall mit den Kundenbelangen umgegangen wird.
Ich würde Nexen Reifen nicht noch einmal kaufen. Von Unternehmen die auf Kundenanfragen nicht reagieren kann ich nur abraten!

I've on my second set of Nexen tyres on a BMW F10 520d and never had any issue. Always found them good in wet as we get lots of rain in Ireland! Always wear evenly and no premature wear. Nexen came on my Mam's VW T-Roc new from factory & I've always replaced them with Nexen on her car too.

A brand new KIA EV6 came with Nexen Nfera sport tyres with internal road noise suppression foam.

After 16000 miles three of the tyres have failed, the resultant vibration makes the vehicle dangerous to drive above 35mph.

Never knew tyres had foam to lower road noise, what a really dumb engineering decision, the minimal noise reduction quality is massively offset by the absolutely poor construction quality and premature failure. This means these tyres cost nearly doubled the advertised price assuming they could travel 32000 miles. Who in their right mind would buy a Korean tyre for £132 to travel only 16000 miles when major brand premium tyres are under £180 each and able to cover 30 to 40000 miles of use.

Forget the warranty with Nexen, I have gotten no where persuing it.

So stick to Michelin, Perelli, Continental not any of the far east manufacturers such as Nexen.

Ho montato 2 anni fa 4 Nexen roadian 215/70r15 C 107-109 (8 tele) su camper Ducato 2,3 mj e quest'anno sono saltate le tele su 3 dei 4. Una dopo una settimana di fermo me ne sono reso conto dalle oscillazioni del volante appena partito, le altre 2 in due occasioni differenti durante la marci, una ha iniziato anche in quesro caso ad oscillare il volante ma l'ultima, alla data della recensione, si è sgonfiata velocemente per il dustacco del rjvestimento interno creando un grosso pericolo.

I bought Nexen N'Fera Primus summer tyres for my brother's cars. My experience was ok, but my brother had a problem when one wheel just blew at a speed of 70 km/h. I sent the tire to the dealer. They answered it was hit and denied replacing the tyre. Unfortunately, the wheel was dirty because the car, after the tire was blowing, got to a gutter. But the blew part of the tyre was clear and you can see that rubber was damaged from inside. Tyre side is very soft. Poor tyres and poor service. Not recommend it.

Ho acquistato 4 pneumatici nuovi della Nexen 215 55 r 18 99v per il mio Suv ma praticamente nell'arco di 1 anno ne ho cambiate altre 2 e adesso ancora altre 2... in pratica 8 gomme in meno di 12 mesi... Gomme di scarsa qualità al primo Marciapiede alla prima Buca o si spaccano (come successo per ben 2 volte) o si formano BOZZE con rottura della tela interna che ti costringono a sostituirle (come successo praticamente ieri) quindi in pratica ne ho comprate 4 ma ne ho dovute mettere altre 4 totale 8 gomme cambiate in meno di un anno.... per me il voto è SOTTOZERO per queste gomme CINESI tanto pubblicizzate ma che non valgono quelle che costano.... oggi passo ad altro marchio e speriamo bene!!

Bought set of Nexen tires and they have failed. Less than 24,000 miles and 2 years old. These tires were mantained, balanced, rotated and inflated.

Great tyres that offer all of the benefits and reliability of the top tyre brands for a lot less money.
Bought four all season Nexen tyres last year and I've been happy with them.
Come rain or shine they offer good grip and comfort.
Mine came with a lifetime guarantee as well!
Nexen all season tyres have coped with rain,sleet,snow and thousands of potholes and survived quite well.
Better value than more expensive brands and just as reliable.
Let's get this straight... Because of clueless Councils and governments over the last 15 years or so our roads and our cars have suffered.
Finding a road without potholes is like finding an MP who's honest... almost impossible!
Potholes are destroying tyres, suspensions,axles and alloy wheels by the thousands... councils and governments...what are you doing with all the millions of pounds our car taxes cover?
Council tax too!
Where's the money going because the roads in the UK are a national disgrace.

Looking at all these negative reviews about Nexen tyres I just cannot relate to them at all based on my own experience of using four Nexen tyres over the last year.
Just makes me wonder 🤔

Die 1-Sterne-Bewertung bezieht sich auf die Erreichbarkeit des Unternehmens. Mehr kann erst gar nicht bewertet werden, da niemand zu erreichen ist.

On car since new, these tyres are lethal in the wet.Done 26000k in 2 years and slid out many times in the wet, more so on cornering. Just not worth risking your life as the wet weather will be here again soon. Held out for as long as I could for financial reasons but going to change them for a different brand next week.

The tyres just do not last. Mine are cracked and deemed not safe to use. Loads of tread left. It makes it actually an expensive purchase. Mine are nexen n-fera. Su1. Emailed nexen UK but no reply.

I replaced all 4 tires on a KIA Forte at KIA on Siegen Lane. Those were recommended by the dealership shop. A year or more later I noticed one tire had a side bulge or bubble. Went to the dealer to complain and they said I had to go directly to Nexen Tires (the manufacturer). I went to their website and completed the complaint with pictures and all. My claim was that this was a manufacturing defect. The response I got was that I hit a pothole and that would not be covered by road hazard. I replied back saying there is no indication of the tire having hit anything on the side, no scratches on the side of the tire, or anything similar. Asked them to show evidence that I hit a pothole, and they never replied back. It is obvious they have a manufacturing problem and their way of hiding it is by putting the fault on the driver without having any evidence. I will never buy a Nexen tire again in my life, and I would not recommend them. Definitely Nexen tires have a high rate of defects.
