Ryan is a very professional surveyor, he spent nearly 6 hours to check every detail of the house and found issues that we did not familiar with (that’s why we need a snagger), not mentioned that he is very punctual and polite. He is willing to answer any questions you have. The company is transparent with prices listed, no extra cost. Highly recommended!

I had Ryan round to take a look at my property for me as I’m unable to get there myself as I live abroad.

Despite being on different time zones and sides of the world there was no problem with communication and everything ran smoothly 👌🏽

Ryan went and met my friend to get the keys which was nice of him.

By the end of the day he had sent me a full comprehensive list with every item written out, pictures and annotated.

I’m so happy that I called Next Step Snagging to come and inspect my property in Guildford.
When I booked I received a message from Ryan within minutes introducing himself and telling me if I had any questions between now and the appointment time to message or call him any time.

In inspection day he turned up ten minutes earlier than our appointment time which was fantastic.

He then talked me through a few hints and tips when dealing with the developer and some great insights/advice that really did come in handy when used.

He spent over 10 hours inspecting the property and I could see the amazing detail he was going in to.

I received my report within 24 hours of the appointment. All clearly pictures labelled and explained.

I have since sent them to the developer who has already started rectifying the issues for me.
4 of these issues would have been extremely serious had they been left or not noticed.

From the initial enquiry to the follow up customer care it was all just amazing and so so worth the money.

Ryan has been super helpful with the snagging work he has done for us. He spent almost the whole day inside and outside of my house and identified all the potential issues, particularly a potential sign of subsidence! He completed and sent over a very comprehensive report the next morning which allows me to talk to the developer ASAP and also followed up with me on any progress. I can't think of anything else he could potentially do for us. A great guy with a lot of experience and expertise! Fully support his business.

Ryan turned up earlier than the agreed time, I liked his promptness. He was there before me when I opened the door for him. Very polite and kind. I asked if he could start in the master bedroom just because we were going to have a bed delivered later on, he got straight to it. I read the reviews on trustpilot and booked him based on this. One thing for sure is, the reviews told the complete truth about him. He took so much time in each room, I was shocked myself, just the master bedroom I believe he was in there for a good 1 hour and a half and there was a lot to cover in the 4 bedroom house, there was 3 toilets as well. He really took his time and did not clock watch, which was very impressive. I think that's what really just showed me that he genuinely cared and wanted to do a good job. My family was helping me move in, so there was a lot of people coming and going, but he was incredibly patient and just carried on with his job, although I was worried it would cause a distraction for him, but he seemed to be absolutely fine and was focused still throughout. One thing my family mentioned after he left was that they were shocked to see how in depth he was doing his work, and that he seems to really know what he's doing. Well that is true, he stayed well above his time, what was supposed to take approx 5 hours I believe, ended up taking about 9 hours for him and it was very evident he was in no rush at all. You could see how collected he was, and worked at a very calm pace. That's an additional 4 hours of work, and if thinking about it, that's quite a lot of extra time to add to your task. But he did not rush. I could see how much in detail he was going. I haven't even had my report delivered yet as it has not been 24 hours but was compelled to write a review, just transferred him the remaining money in his account this late evening as I was busy with the family with moving everything in the house. Incredibly patient with waiting for us to transfer the remaining money too. Thank you Ryan, looking forward to this report to come back so we can pass on to the developer!
