Niche is the sister company of Hancock and Wood who are a fourth generation family business. Our department store has been trading from the same site in Warrington, Cheshire since founded in 1914. We have developed and expanded over the years to meet the changing demands of our customers and now combine the best traditions of service with a modern twist. In July 2020 we launched our online brand Niche serving customers both nationally and in the local area, offering our latest arrivals online at affordable prices. We receive new stock several a week so there is always something new to tempt you! We pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service following the traditional service model that we adhere to within our bricks and mortar store. Unlike many faceless online companies we will resolve any issues you may have quickly and efficiently. Susie is now the fourth generation of the Hancock family to take the helm at H & W, her sons Billy and Henry aspire to take the reins of the family business in the future!

Simply the best
Cannot fault this company. Good prices especially the sale prices and the items in the sales are genuine stock items, reduced end of line or new season stock arrivals. Delivery is just 1 or 2 days. The quality is always good and the sizing is correct too, which is a great bonus. Would recommend 100%.

Such brilliant customer service
I fell in love with a cardigan I saw on the site. I asked for help putting an outfit together. I put a list of the items I liked on the site and they were really helpful recommending what world suit best (not what was most expensive). The whole outfit arrived and I love it all. The recommended items and sizes are perfect. Wish I could post a photo.

I ordered a few bits from their website and they arrived so quicklyZ the quality was amazing and the prices were even better. Lovely goods at reasonable price, would highly recommend, I was slightly sceptical as it was a Facebook suggestion, but wasn’t disappointed.
