Undelivered game

Ordered a game which was undelivered. Took them 10 days to offer to send a replacement, which they failed to send. Customer service is extremely unhelpful. They just copy and paste standard responses and do not commit to anything, or provide specific information. Do not buy from them.

The worst customer service.

The worst customer service.
Sent joycons in for repairs and they sent them back marked, chipped and with broken buttons. Claimed it was like that upon sending them in and when questioned on it they stopped responding. The absolute worst experience possible. Avoid at all costs.

Absolute awful company/website

Absolute awful company/website. Like many others, I too ordered the Paper Mario set and never received the full items. After they tried to take the money for the items again (which I didn’t have in my card at that time), they quietly cancelled my order and never even sent me the free preorder keychains which I should’ve been sent.
Avoid at all costs.

Too awful for words, will never buy again

Ordered paper mario special edition with the keyrings and cardboard stage on the day the preorders went live. On release day I receive the game only, no preorder items. Customer service couldn't care less, just says back order and no info when/if I will ever get it. No apology. Paid over the odds for items I will probably never get. They offered to cancel the free items?!?!?! Just beyond awful.

Also preordered the limited special edition of Luigi's mansion. It's been out since 27 June and guess what? Nothing received at all!! Not even the game. Absolute disgrace.

Cancelled an order

Cancelled an order, they charged me (x2) anyway and sent the console. 33 emails to get a return postage label. Same response every time "Your case will be escalated". Eventually they sent me the return postage label. The console was returned and three weeks later they still refuse to issue a refund. Console is showing as being delivered back to Nintendo warehouse by DPD. I had to raise a case with my credit card provider. Avoid!!!!!, worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Thieving company

Ordered the same item twice on their e-shop in different bundles. When trying to get a refund immediately afterwards they copy paste the same response over and over again that they can't.
Unfortunately not easy to stop using since the kids love some of their Switch games, but I'll do my best to move to a different platform

I'm also posting my problem here because I would like someone who works at Nintendo to be able to help me and understand how unfair what some of your employees are doing to me is....
I continue to have strong doubts about the seriousness of the people who manage Nintendo Shop Italia.
I find it hard to believe that these people, especially Cristopher D and Barbara who respond to chats on the Nintendo Shop Italia website, can do what they want and not care about helping customers.
I have never seen something like this, how is it possible to treat people like this?
I've already had a problem with Cristopher D who responded badly to me in the chat on the Nintendo Shop Italia website (I have the photos saved).

My order MNS_IT_00129266 which was canceled still has the same problem as last time, i.e. although it was cancelled, the products are no longer selectable again..
Christopher D can cancel orders, BUT says he can't fix this?

I have KINDLY written to fix it several times, since it is their job, but they pretend that it is not their job and shift the blame to others..
The other time he made me wait 3 months and then after my complaint on social media he decided to fix the problem.
ABSURD, you call them to solve the problems but they say it's not their job..
I have never had problems with other companies, only with Nintendo Shop Italia and I have been your customer for about 1 year..
The negative reviews you have had from other users are absolutely true.
I'm tired of being treated like this by strangers who are supposed to solve problems and not create them..
The problem is an easy thing to fix.
It's not fair that a person who HONESTLY took Nintendo silver points can't redeem anything because 2 people at Nintendo Shop Italia have decided not to help you for personal reasons.
What logical sense does it make to give points if some then decide who should get the prizes and who not based on personal tastes?
I feel cheated by you, deceived and made fun of.

Avoid avoid avoid

Absolutely AWFUL. Cancelled the automatic renewal of the overpriced Nintendo Online subscription that my children don't use. Nintendo took the money anyway and are refusing to refund as it's not in the 14 days of the ORIGINAL purchase. So I'm £60 down for their error and they won't do anything.

Customer services have no regard in helping resolve customer issues.

I purchased a gift card from my work to be used towards a new switch for my daughter. The website does not allow me to use this towards the purchase, I contacted customer services and requested a refund to be told by a rude colleague that it can't be done due to the T and C's despite me pleading with them that this was intended to buy a switch and not points on their system. They have no regard for new customers, I would stay away from this company, once they have your money they do not want to help you whatsoever and the staff are taught to put the company terms above the customer. Never buying anything from their website.

Ordered brand new switch oled and said available then they told me its not in stock so i cancelled the order two weeks ago and still no confirmation of refund?? ive already ordered and received another switch from a different store!

Got the refund in the end but took too long for what should have been 3-5 days was nearly 3 weeks of waiting for my money back

Nintendo stole my money. Their customer service is non existent. I purchased two games online, they were only circa £5 each, but neither of them worked. I emailed customer services and they refused to refund me for them. Maybe this company is just too big, and they know that people will use them regardless of how bad their service is. Taking peoples money and not giving them what they paid for, is an appalling way to operate. I believe it is called stealing.

Refund Policy is Awful

Tried to get a refund for a game I didn’t intend to buy (meant to buy a different game). I had never even opened the game and immediately contacted customer service. The forms were so hard to navigate - instead of asking for a simple email they ask for sign in ID? And the directions they offer to find this are incorrect - I explained my situation and they offered no empathy. To be honest I found their response and their policy just unkind, any other shop would have issued a refund. Do not buy your games through the online shop!!!

Disgusting absolute joke does not work stay away from this unreliable consoles absolute rubbish not even fit for the dustbin no. customer service. Is the worst console I’ve ever had it does not login does not log onto the Internet properly complete problems after problems total waste of time.
I’m not even gonna explain to you all the problems that I had just that is rubbish. No good not fit for purpose. Waste the money. I don’t even want to sell it secondhand to someone else because I would fill terrible for selling a bit of jump to someone else.

Appaling

Purchased a switch in Dec 2023, in January it would error during games. I booked it into to be fixed with Nintendo and was quoted £200 to have it fixed. I declined as the switch was in warranty, I emailed Nintendo to say this and they asked for my receipt. I sent this along with my bank statement and because I purchased the device in store they said the receipt was not valid because it did not have my name on. First time ive ever heard of this. They are point blank refusing to fix the issue. They returned the switch to me completely broken and unresponsive which they say is because I refused to pay to have it fixed. I requested a manager to call me ASAP and they said they cannot make outbound calls?! Customer service is non existent!! Tempted to take them to small claim for £40!

The worst customer service of any…

The worst customer service of any online retailer.

Made a large order of over £150 but missed an item accidentally, got in touch using their 'live chat' and was told that they wouldn't help me. That I would have to cancel my order and in the process lose the discount code I used. Wasn't able to offer a discount or free postage on the item I missed, even though the order I made originally was eligible. So point blank refused to help me over £4 when they are clearly able to, regardless of what they say their system allows them to do.

Garbage.

Appalling non existent customer support. Just automated replies that solve absolutely nothing. They don't even read the messages you send them, just have a bot send automated replies. Pathetic and this lack of support should be illegal!

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service, do not buy digital purchases from the Nintendo store as they refuse to give you a refund if you do not like the game or if it was an accidental purchase which to me is consumer rights. If I had known this before I would not have bothered.

Cant even contact them. Been trying for months. No competition means they can do whatever they want. Shoddy hardware and service has no repurcussions. Sony and x box keep each other on their toes.

Switch repair

Logged a Switch repair online given failure to read games. Switch us in warranty.

Received a DHL postage pack which contained very vague information..... postage was due to be pre paid.
Phoned DHL for info but phone number supplied didn't work. Sent the repair via the post office to avoid further delay
which cost 20 euro.

Received info after 5 days from Nintendo to say there was no problem reading games !, but repairs were required for screen & these repairs are out of warranty and will cost 125 Gbp.

I've requested further info.
Very dissatisfied.
In summary; Postage not covered, long delay, poor communication on repair & high fees requested.

Continue to wait on reply. So frustrating.
