Claimed for a broken boom during racing on Tuesday during a Regatta week. Very prompt response, paid claim on Thursday and new boom arrived allowing us to continue sailing.

47% uplift in premium!
It appears that Noble Marine have taken over Newton Crum, who I have been insured with for the last 4 years. Last year’s policy for a 1978 Enterprise and an Old Town Discovery canoe, was £67. This year the renewal with Noble is £98.73. A 47% increase!
This is not for a change of location, a change in circumstances (other than swapping the Enterprise for a 1985 Laser2. Not for claims I’ve made (zero claims).
Not much reward for loyalty. Simple money grabbing greed. Especially since I’ve insured both boats for a total of £48.
I did try and add this message as a comment on Noble’s FaceBook page. Oddly, it’s disappeared.

We were sorry to hear you’ve decided to go elsewhere this year so we’ve had a look at the quotes we provided to you. We quoted you £75.30 which was £8 more than you paid Newton Crum last year and not £98.73 as you state in your review. We would be surprised if you are getting the same level of cover on your alternative quote and suspect it is not entirely like for like.

Superb Claim experience
First ever claim. Not sure what to expect.
Claim resulted from a broken mast. Very fast and efficient response from Noble meant I was able to secure the last replecement mast section in the UK avoiding huge delay and extra costs.
