I preordered (from the website, not kickstarter) the nofio headset as well as battery vest and an extra battery on Feb 19th 2023.
Delays happen, I get that. But the Comedy of Errors on their part of this is beyond excusable (I'm not even going to go into the "CNY" courier by ship debacle).

They shipped out my order on Feb 1st 2024. I received 3 identical tracking numbers for the following:

nofio x EOZ Body Strap
nofio battery
nofio wireless adapter for Valve Index.

These tracking numbers were updated to 3 identical UPS tracking numbers on April 19th 2024

I received my order on April 24 2024. It is missing the extra battery I ordered as well as the Oculink to even use the device.

I would have requested a refund but funny enough they add a no refund policy some time between December of 2023 and February 2024. Nearly a year after I placed this order. So I can only assume that they knew your product was incomplete or they ran out of money to manufacture what they had already sold. Either is pretty messed up.

On October 1st 2024 I requested a refund for the battery I had not received. On October 10th I received a response saying "I can confirm that your refund has been processed to the card you made your purchase with. This might take 1-2 days to clear your account".
October 22nd I had yet to receive my refund so I contacted them again. Their response "I sincerely apologize for the delay in processing your refund. I can confirm that we have everything we need from your end. The delay is due to nofio awaiting the clearance of funds, which is expected to take another 3-4 weeks. Once received, your refund will be our top priority." December 8th I contacted them once again to check on refund status. Their response "Thank you for following up, and I sincerely apologize for the ongoing delay. Unfortunately, the funds have not cleared yet, and I understand how frustrating this must be. Please know that this situation is not typical, and we are actively working to resolve it as quickly as possible.

I want to assure you that your refund remains a priority, and as soon as the funds are cleared, we will process your refund immediately. I truly appreciate your continued patience and understanding during this time.
If you have any further concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out."

Then they closed the ticket

and finally, they product is subpar. It does not function anywhere close to how they promoted it. It is practically vaporware.

They have unrealistic goals. I am waiting for over a year now for an additional battery. Their support system sucks, they flood you with automated emails. The product never reached the state they promised to deliver. The product was delivered way after they promised and then it didn't live up to what was initially promised. Overall very bad experience.

Huge Delays, Unreliable product

I have placed an order over a year ago. According to their side and their Instagram I should have received my order to the end of the year. In February I haven't got a thing and I requestet a refund.

They agreed to the refund and I should receive the money within one month. 9 months later I still haven't got a thing and they still saying that the refund is in progress.

Absolute scam. I placed a pre-order for a device almost 2 years ago. They promised a delivery date a year ago. They have now cancelled my order without refunding me a dime.

Absolute thieves, do not give them a dime of your money. I am currently seeking legal action against them with Australian authorities as that's where they were based.
