I am well pleased with customer and technical support at Nomadic. I called technical support with a couple of questions when installing my S1 unit. My call was answered right away, it took them a minute to find the answer but they told me what I needed to know. I managed to misplace the expansion valve during my in again, off again installation. I got a replacement part very quickly and then a couple of follow up emails to check to make sure everything was working well.
I've just placed the unit in service but so far it's working well.
As a van builder, we hope our clients never have to exercise a product warranty. That said, when a warranty issue does arise, it's an opportunity to see how a company truly supports its customers—and Nomadic Innovations handled our client's experience exceptionally well.
One of our clients experienced a compressor failure in her X2 air conditioner during her first major trip. Rather than simply replacing the unit, the Nomadic team turned what could have been a frustrating interruption into a genuinely positive experience. They expedited the warranty claim, replaced the entire unit, took time to answer her questions, introduced her to the Nomadic app, and even helped her set up a camera system so she could monitor her dog while away from the van. Most importantly, she left feeling confident that she had a direct relationship with the Nomadic team and knew exactly where to turn if she ever needed support again.
From our perspective as a builder, that's what stands out most. Products can occasionally have issues—that's true of any manufacturer. What matters is how those issues are handled. Nomadic's responsiveness, communication, and commitment to educating and supporting the customer transformed what could have been a disappointing experience into one that actually strengthened our client's confidence in both the product and the company.
