The owner held my hand through a nightmarish customs snafu that was no fault of his, and did everything within his power to expedite things, sticking with it for the entire nearly three-month process and seeing it through to the (successful) end.

Stian clearly cares about his watches and his customers.
Having a 24hr watch may be a novelty, but first and foremost my watch is a great looking, quality piece.
I think it is a very attractive and well considered watch, and the exhibition case back never gets old.
It is a comfortable wear even though I have small-ish wrists.
The box was a surprise too, and very luxurious. It added to the joy of unboxing.

I love my NW2 and it has become my daily wear wristwatch. I have been eyeing a 24hr dialed watch for years and jumped at the opportunity to pick one up. I have conversed with Stian a few times via email while he was starting up Northern Watches and after I received my watch. You can tell he deeply cares about his watches and my experience. I 100% intend to keep an eye on his future releases and would buy from him again without question.

Love my Northern watch. It is well built and an excellent value for the money. The stone dial and 24 hour timekeeping is a unique combination. The movement is beautifully finished and the twisted lugs on the case are a definite selling point.

I am very impressed with my stainless steel watch from Northern Watches. The stone dial looks changes shades depending on the environment, the twisted lugs are a nice touch, and the case size is perfect for a dress watch with crisp finishing. Communication during and after the purchase was excellent. And shipping fast. Overall, it exceeded my expectations.

As an amateur watchmaker whose Father was a professional, I’ve never bought or owned a brand new watch in my life before and was slightly wary about supporting Stian’s launch into the world of microbrands. I needn’t have worried; my Northern Watch arrived when Stian said it would and I couldn’t be happier with what was revealed when I opened the presentation case. I chose the ‘Northerner’ with the white, carved stone dial and silver case. The watch is beautiful and extremely comfortable to wear with no corners having been cut in terms of quality of materials – the movement is high specification and it’s nice to see it through the glass case-back. The signed strap is a nice touch too. In conclusion then, it’s a ten out of ten from me, I feel very lucky to own such a lovely timepiece and I wish Northern Watches every success for the future.

I purchased the Northerner (Bronze) watch (No 009) and having just read the first few reviews on here, I have to totally agree. I was looking for a quality Swiss watch for my collection, but not get sucked it to the over priced and bland brands. Boy did I get it! I love it ! different, comfortable and a style all of its own. Stian got it right on with the nature feel, the stone dial and thin gold hands curved to sit under the crystal looks and feels quality and to be honest I thought it was a bargain ! Thank you Stian 😊

The Northerner exceeds my expectations: Beautiful, simple, elegant, and unique. It's dressy but still perfectly reasonable for casual wear, it keeps excellent time, and the 24-hour clock gives it a special, unique feel. The dial is a work of miniature bas-relief sculpture. The founder, Stian, is a pleasure to work with... I'm very, very pleased with the watch and look forward to seeing more products from Northern Watches.

One of the things I always rate is customer service and, besides making an amazing watch, customer service is A plus. Their watches are unique and the dials are very special.

Stian has designed an amazing and beautiful timepiece. It is such a unique design and conversation starter. And becomes very intuitive to read in a short time. His communication throughout the process was great. Fast shipping. Presentation box is on par with an elite brand. Clearly he has put a lot of heart and soul into this endeavor.

Great product with a very unique design. Shipping is very fast, contact with Stian is very good. The watch is of course lovely, but clearly a lot of attention has gone to the box, warranty card and branded straps.
