North Star Building Solutions Reviews

What an absolute pleasure we have found it working with the North Star Building Solutions team!

My partner and I are absolutely delighted with the finished result of our loft conversion. The quality of workmanship, attention to detail, professionalism, and communication throughout the project have all exceeded our expectations. Undertaking building work can often feel quite daunting, particularly with a baby, but Leo, Elidon and team made the whole process incredibly smooth, stress-free, and enjoyable.

What really stood out to us was not only the high standard of work delivered, but also the flexibility, care, honesty, and dedication shown by everyone involved.

It was clear throughout our project that North Star genuinely takes pride in delivering the very best for its customers, and that gave us complete confidence every step of the way.

We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending North Star Building Solutions as our experience has been exceptional from start to finish and, we will certainly keep them in mind for any future projects.

Thanks again!

North Star carried out a big renovation of my house, adding an extension, with a green roof, moving the staircase, reconfiguring the layout completely on both floors, installing a new kitchen and two bathrooms. The result is gorgeous and I’m delighted with what is effectively a brand new house.
The project went very well with only one issue which was swiftly resolved.
The project completed on time and in budget and I was kept well informed throughout.
What I really appreciated was that all the men on site were incredibly hard working, pleasant, quiet, tidy and thoughtful. The foreman Ergi was brilliant, always there, very thorough, always reassuring and patient. I have never undertaken anything like this before and he made it a far less stressful experience than it might have been!

Leo and all the team at North Star Building Solutions completed our 3-bedroom house renovation, extension, and loft conversion to an excellent standard.

From start to finish, the team were professional, reliable, and hardworking. The quality of workmanship was outstanding, communication was clear throughout, and the project was completed with great attention to detail.

We are absolutely delighted with the finished result and would highly recommend North Star Building Solutions to anyone looking for a trustworthy and professional building company.

Thank you, Leo and the team, for transforming our home.

North Star Building Solution are skilled builders and handymen when it comes to carrying out the main work. However, they could improve by paying closer attention to the practical functional and technical details as these can be just as important as the main work and can lead to issues that are difficult and costly to rectify later. So taking extra care during the initial work would greatly improve the overall result.

Outstanding Experience with North Star Building Solutions!
We recently completed a large loft renovation and extension project, and I can honestly say it exceeded all expectations. From start to finish, Leo and his team were absolutely brilliant professional, reliable, and incredibly skilled.
The quality of work is top-notch, and their attention to detail really shows in every corner of the project. They handled everything smoothly, kept us informed throughout, and delivered exactly what they promised.
Big or small, you’re in safe hands with this team. God bless Leo and the whole crew truly dedicated people who take pride in what they do.
Highly recommended!

We've used North Star for building work at our house twice now. The first time in 2023 and they've recently completed another project in April 2026.

Their work is always completed to the highest of standards. They take great care and pay attention to detail on everything they do.

Leo and his team are extremely easy to work with. They accommodated every request. They are open and honest about everything. Always willing to explain things and answer questions and concerns.

Having building work done can be stressful, but the skills and expertise of all the team at North Star made it really easy. They leave the work site clean and safe as possible at the end of every work day. They minimise any inconvenience caused by the work their undertaking. And they take great care and respect of your property.

Any snags were quickly resolved and the care provided after the work has been completed is exemplary. This extra reassurance and support is something that makes North Star really stand out.

Assisting us to build extension and refurbishment of our house .

Leo and the team at Northstar have just completed a refurb of our bathroom and cloakroom. In two weeks the team have delivered an extremely high quality finish, accommodating our every need. Leo provides complete transparency from the outset and is really easy to work with. I would not hesitate to use his services again when we kick off the next part of our refurbishment. Leo and his team work in a clean and thoughtful manner, communicate regularly with photo updates every day and consulting with us all through the build.

Restoration & Refurbishment
We hired Leo for a full front of house refurb/restoration which including re-rendering (smoothing of old render), replacing all timber, and guttering and re-painting. Leo and his team started and finished the work to the agreed timescale and budget and most importantly did a fantastic job. We could not be happier with the end product - feel like we have a new home! He is very easy to work with, flexible, and very good at problem-solving when and if issues arise. Cannot recommend him highly enough and cannot wait to have him back for our next jobs for the interior of the house. Look no further, seriously. Thanks so much, Leo!

Shane and his team continue to set standards for a reliable, efficient, and pleasant contractor in London. They are amazing to work with, and easy to talk to. I had an excellent experience working with North Star Building Solutions Limited. They built a new loft, including a modern bathroom and a single-story extension with a sleek, contemporary kitchen, and they carried out thorough painting throughout the house.

Leo and his team are truly exceptional, on a different level compared to any other company I've worked with. Their pricing was fair, and the quality of their work was of the highest standard. Throughout the project, they were incredibly friendly, loyal to their clients, and always made me feel that my house was in safe hands.

Their speed and efficiency are remarkable; this team is like a well-oiled machine. They are well-organized, with Leo overseeing everything from emails and paperwork to building control to ensure that all certificates and approvals are obtained promptly.

As a customer, I can’t ask for more. If anyone is considering building or renovating, I highly recommend North Star Building Solutions Limited. It’s a rare find, and I invite anyone interested to come and see my project firsthand. Very highly recommended!

We’ve known Leo, Director of North Star Building Solutions, for around 5 years. When we bought our house, we didn’t have the budget to do everything in one go, so Leo worked with us in stages.

First, he and his team renovated the kitchen and bathrooms, installed a new boiler, new plumbing, new electrics, new flooring, painting and a full ground floor refurbishment. This year, they came back to complete the external works, including silicone rendering and a new roof.

The transformation has been incredible; our house now stands out from the rest of the street, looking brand new and finished to perfection. The quality of the work is on another level.

The most important thing for us was trust. We were able to give Leo the keys and even go away on holiday. When we returned, everything was completed to the highest standard and the house was spotless.

I would highly recommend North Star Building Solutions to any customer. They deliver trust, loyalty, respect and high-end finishes every time. I cannot praise Leo and his whole team enough.

Thank you, and God bless Leo and all the North Star team.

Not that bad not that good. Based on the quality of their job, cost, speed, attitude etc I believe they deserve three and a half star.

We found about Leo and his team when googling for a contractor to help renovate our flat. We couldn't have chosen better. Kledi did an amazing job for our flat and always was so knowledgable and helpful in finding best solutions for our needs. They were available 24/7 to answer any questions we had. Couldn't have asked for more professional and truly nice people to make our dream come true. Honestly their attention to detail and the quality of workmanship were superb - it shows these are people who care about the work they do and the quality they provide. Can't recommend enough Kledi and Leo.

We moved out and Leo, Ergo, and his team moved in. All new ceilings, walls, architraves, re wire, kitchen, bathroom.
All completed on time in only 8 weeks from start to finish.
So happy with the end results and Leo and his team were conscientious and detailed.
I would highly recommend

4-Bedroom Renovation and 6-Meter
I wanted to share an exciting update regarding the recent project we completed with Leo and North Star Building Solutions. We successfully completed a renovation of a 4-bedroom property, including a 6-meter extension.

In my opinion, they are the best company overall due to their exceptional workmanship and professionalism throughout the project.

Overall, the renovation of the five-bedroom house by Leo North Star Building Solutions Limited stands out for its quality of work, thoughtful design, and adherence to modern standards. This renovation not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of the home but also improves its functionality and efficiency.
