TOTAL SCAM. WILL CHARGE YOU $90 FOR A SUBSCRIPTION YOU NEVER AUTHORISED. FACEBOOK ALLOWS THESE SITES TO CONTINUE SCAMMING USERS WITH NO CARE AT ALL.

Same as others, did the .99 monthly "subscription" which wasn't in any of my subscriptions which should've been my first red flag. So I email to cancel, and they charge me $99. I did a PayPal dispute yet their dumb AI of course rejected it, so now I get to call tomorrow to get this fixed instead. I only read 1 books that turned out to be like 6 chapters, maybe the equivalent of a 20-30 page regular book. This is bonkers. I'll also be reporting them to my bank on Monday!

I also got the 0.99 week subscription because I wanted to finish reading a story. Then immediately tried to cancel the subscription since I knew I wasn’t going to use it again. I get a notification from my bank saying they want charge me 99.00 from them again, it was apparently clarified to me that my subscription was canceled and that the 99.00 charge was because of the fees for the copyright agency and/or the author of the book. I’ve emailed them again, if they say the same excuse, I’m reporting it to my bank. I’ve shouldn’t have done it.

After two initial payments of .99c on 25 December 2025, 12 payments of US$29.99 have been taken from my PayPal account up to 2 February. a total of US$361.86 paid so far.
Unable to locate a contact address to cancel the subscription. SCAM ??
I have no app or password. If I start reading a book on their list, after 5 chapters wants me to sign up again!
How have others stopped their subscriptions?

This company is an unethical scammer. Avoid at all costs. They offered a trial period of a week for $.99. Two days after I signed up for the week trial they charged me $29.99. When I saw it, I immediately asked for my money back and they refused to send it back. I think Paypal. may be in kahoots with them as they have been completely unhelpful in getting this resolved and I have seen I am not the only person this has happened to.

I downloaded one book for 99p the next thing I'm charged 29.99. They then put u into a subscription that u r not aware of!

same experience as the rest, thankfully i had my card empty. but that didnt stop them attempting to charge me twice a day. making an account only requires username. trying to cancel with them your asked for the e mail you joined with that does not exist!

‼️SCAM‼️ i wish I had read reviews first. Bought the $.99 one week subscription on a Sunday, read a few short stories and decided they were trash and the site had nothing to offer me. On the same day I looked up their procedure for canceling the subscription and sent the info to the email address on the site. Now around 3 am today (on Wednesday) I got an email from PayPal with a $29.99 charge! I did not sign up for anything but the one week $.99 service. I have sent another email to the one on file through PayPal to request a refund and cancellation. If one is not given I will dispute through PP and my bank. Should have known better!

Stay away from this scam!!!! I never signed for reoccurring subscription and then I saw they charged 29,99$ from my account. Sent an e-mail stated the cancellation providing paypal account e-mail and their reply was: „Please provide us paypal account e-mail„

Take money from account never signed up for recurring payments or anything else having to go through fraud investigation with my bank and paypal

An online e-book provider, it has a very complicated charging system that isn’t based on number of books, amount of words, monthly/weekly/daily charges, but basically allows it to charge what it wants when it wants. The subscription process does not provide full disclosure at the time you sign. AVOID.
