From anxious to PMHNP in a little over 30 days
I graduated from my program the 2nd week of August. I started to study shortly after that. Initially, I didn't hit my studying super hard, but by the 3rd week of August, I ramped it up. I studied hard. I listened to modules 1-5 from the 30-day success program. I did most of module 6.
For the question banks, I did all of module 1 quizzes most of module 2 questions, and I did all comprehensive tests that were offered. Originally, I scored a 71, 76, 77 on the first few. Close but not quite. This was discouraging as I was 2 weeks out from my exam. I went back over content I was struggling with. Read through every single pdf provided. Made notes and flash cards until I felt comfortable with about 90-95% of the content. I retook exam 1-2 scored in the high 80s to low 90s without ever looking at any rationales. I did all of the crash course test scoring 81-96. I also took the extra comprehensive test Dr. Lopes offers. 2 weeks before my test, Dr. Lopes encouraged me to reschedule my exam. A week before my test, after taking a few of the exams and scoring well over 80 for the most part, Dr. Lopes gave me the green light.
His support that is offered is amazing. I have my FNP and took review courses for that and never ever had the support like Dr. Lopes. His care and compassion to ensure you are successful is golden. Him and his entire team want you to be successful. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend anyone else to review with, but Dr. Lopes. You are in great hands. If you trust his process, you will be successful. My test anxiety was so high, but I felt well equipped. Thank you, Dr. Lopes and team for all you do. You go above and beyond to make sure we're successful.

The Gift of Teaching: Recognizing Dr. Lopes’s Commitment to Education
I recently completed a comprehensive review for the PMHNP boards with Dr. Lopes, and the experience was both insightful and motivating. He emphasized the importance of consistent daily study, recommending at least one to two hours of preparation each day to ensure success on the certification exam. Following his guidance, I dedicated two hours daily to studying by listening to his instructional videos, completing all the quizzes, and working through the question banks multiple times until I achieved strong scores. I also made it a habit to review the provided PDFs regularly, which reinforced my knowledge base and kept me on track. Dr. Lopes also introduced me to the strategy of creating study postcards, where I wrote down key mnemonics and high-yield information, making the material easier to recall.
Balancing these studies with my personal responsibilities has been challenging but rewarding. As a working mother employed six days a week, while also caring for my family and attending church on the seventh day, my schedule is demanding. My husband is currently ill and unable to work, so I carry the responsibility of supporting the household financially, including paying bills and the mortgage. Despite these challenges, Dr. Lopes’s encouragement kept me motivated to push forward daily. He went beyond the role of a traditional instructor by not only teaching us content but also ensuring we understood complex concepts such as brain anatomy and neurophysiology. His commitment extended to offering live classes twice a week and even hosting Kahoot review sessions at night to test our knowledge in an interactive way. His dedication and encouragement helped me develop confidence, discipline, and the study habits necessary to succeed on the day of the exam.
Ultimately, Dr. Lopes made a profound difference in my life by guiding me through the complex subject of psychiatry, including the anatomy of the brain and its daily functions, in a way that was both understandable and inspiring. By God’s grace, I passed my board exam three weeks ago, and I want to give Him all the glory. I also want to praise God for Dr. Lopes’s willingness to teach and for using him as a vessel to encourage and prepare me for success. I pray that the Lord will enlarge his territories, and as David said in Psalm 23: “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow him, and he will dwell in the house forever”.

If you want to pass your pmhnp certification exam first time, look no further. Dr Lopes is the best and cares so much about his students. He tells his students that the relationship doesn't end after you pass your exams, he will be available even when you get your first job. He organizes live review classes, which are very helpful. He is very affordable, too, compared to other review classes. I watched a couple of his short videos on YouTube, I immediately went to his website to register. He makes the class very easy to understand. There are different modules and videos you can review at your own pace, and even on the go. . I passed my exam on my first try. I passed the ANCC boards 1 week ago thanks to Dr Lopes!!! His live lectures twice a week, Kahoots, PDFs and prerecorded lectures were easy to understand and reinforced the teachings. In this course Dr Lopes made hard concepts less intimidating and actually fun to learn. There was never a time in my journey I didn't feel supported by Dr Lopes. As someone who suffers from severe test anxiety, I can honestly say Dr Lopes showed sincere concern and kept giving me the encouragement i would be success as I was preparing for the boards. I came across Dr Lopez on YouTube while…
I came across Dr Lopez on YouTube while getting ready to study for PMHNP board exams. I watched his module 1 video on YouTube and got hooked so I clicked the link to buy his 30 day walk to success packet and just paying attention to his live reviews was soo helpful! I understood everything so much more and he has a nice way to explain things for it to get stuck. I didn’t even finish the bank (only did the module 1 qbank) but passed my boards exams because not only does he teach to understand he also gives tips to answer even the most difficult questions!

Truly the best PMHNP review out there!
I happened to stumble upon this specific PMHNP study site while looking things up on reddit. Based on all of what I read & my experience with it, it truly is the best option for studying... From my personal experience & knowing myself, I require a framework that allows me to study on my sense of time. This program allows me that. I can go back & rewatch videos as many times as I need. The mnemonics Dr. Lopez uses are extremely helpful (even when then seem a little far out, that appears to make them stick around in my brain all the more). I'm very glad I chose this program over all of others that I was pushed toward.

Awesome program, this is what you need to pass the PMHNP exam.
Dr. Lopes program for the PMHNP exam preparation is very well designed. I did not get any surprises in the exam. All the modules, diagnostic exams, and question bank were very helpful to prepare me for the exam. Kahoot games were helpful to finish the exam on time as they were timed. On the top of that, Dr. Lopus takes care of every student by answering the emails, encouraging the students time to time, and checking their progress in the program. I will suggest to use the program, you will never regret. Everything is in the program to pass the exam.
